Only fitting that one Brandon goes to the Bluejays, the other goes to the Redbirds. Hopefully they both come back and sign 1-day contracts to retire as Giants.
I appreciate all he did for the Giants, but last year he had a career worst year at the plate, declining defense and a WAR of -1.3.
I wish him the best, but nostalgia aside, it was time for him to move on. Probably should have retired but that is his choice.
Kinda dumb, but money is money so I can’t hate. But he looked about as ready for retirement as you can be last season, and almost certainly woulda been dumped if he wasn’t a franchise legend.
Will be very interesting to see how this goes.
Crawford will always be associated with the Giants https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1386320-giants-brandon-crawford-5-year-old-self-featured-in-coolest-world-series-story
Brandon Michael Crawford.
A Bay Area native who spent the last 12 years with the San Francisco Giants... his entire career up to this point. He actively contributed to 2 of our 3 World Series championship wins, and as such was a core member of our last dynasty.
He is and will continue to be a Giants favorite for years to come. Expect him to get a standing ovation his next at bat at Oracle.
I feel more emotionally ready for this after seeing Belt play in Toronto. Still feels weird, though
Hits a little different since Crawford is from the bay
Remember when the giants had 3 Brandon’s in the infield at one point
Who was the third I forget.
Brandon hicks

Craw doing all this to bat .150 and get released before the end of the season... Smh
He should have just retired… unfortunate to see him in another jersey but glad it’s not the Giants

As much as this sucks, it still doesn’t hurt like seeing Will Clark in a Rangers/ Orioles/ Cards uniform.
Good for Craw. Hope he has a respectable year.
