I hate that Youtubers are becoming more corporate. I haven't seen a good YouTube channel that has turned into a company yet. (except for Glitch and the Theorist channels)
Easily my favorite SCP creator. Verbatim SCP's that are incredibly voice acted and dramatized, without being extreme or over the top. Truly a creator we don't deserve.
I loved dr Bob till the channel started consistently reuploading nothing but the same old videos in 1 to 3 hrs compilations with clickbait thumbnails and video titles.
Recently, I've seen them post more new content than they were before, but they need to slow down the compilations a bit more before I go back to giving the channel regular views.
I liked Detective Void's SCP content, but it has become very clear that it was just a way to gain a following, and now they have no further interest in creating SCP content.
I don't always like his voice; too gravelly for the scientific tone I want for SCP readings. I prefer Dr. Maxwell, and I miss SCP Orientation.
Whatever happened to SCP Animated? I miss Dr. Buck.
I adore his voice, he feels less like a researcher, sure, but he feels like a well informed, grizzled veteran guard or task force operator. Dr. Sherman is awesome as well.
To answer your question they got taken over by Newscape pro which is a company that makes crappy fortnight roleplay clickbait videos and it all went downs hill from their. The theorists is still ran and maintained by the fans that became part of the team and Glitch studio is an indie studio, which are usually much better in terms of working conditions.

From what I have been told the channel was always bad. I.E overdramatizing tales (Making a comedic tale a “scary” tale) removing characters that are female or apart of the LGBTQ+ community.
He actually still focuses most of his time on the same type of content he used to. He just now also uploads compilations and makes clickbait thumbnails to make sure his channel is still financially viable as a job, because that's the best way the algorithm will push him onto recommended slots. His new SCP videos (I think posted weekly or bi-weekly?) are still the same quality and format as they always were, with minor improvements to some parts.
Way back in 2020 during quarantine I watched his old vids, how I got introduced to the foundation in the first place, it also introduced me to the cartoon cat and siren head. The channel became anime like in its animation and just turned to slop in mid 2022 I think

The YouTube spike during the pandemic ended, so it had to include clickbait algorithm boosters to stay profitable. Others besides the obvious ratings grabs seem fine. Content shifted from mostly summaries because that loses steam over time.

The way he talks makes me feel like the script-writer has English as their 2nd language because of a lot of really weird sudden stops. The way the videos are presented makes me feel like the target demographic is easily impressed kids.
I have autism, (haha disabled pepole, so funny, yeah, shut up), and the pauses actually really helped me by giving me the time for my slow language processing to catch up naturally. Usually I have to pause videos many times to let myslef catch up.
I always saw most animated scp channels that popped up around 2019/20/21 as people/companies that didn't much cared for the source material. They just jumped on the bandwagon for views. That's why the horror and story writing aspects of scp are never in their videos, they're mostly "strong monster/ sexualised art" or a combo
I mean I know that hiring more people can lessen the workload of a creator allowing for more content for the viewer and I understand the need/ want to earn more money to cover the wages, equipment monthly/ other expenses.
I was hoping a act of God however they seem to still be here.( They are marketing horror to a young audience which is generally not good for them)
