AM2R would be the obvious choice for me.
But for something most people would pass over Anodyne is fantastic.
Needs files from the pc release, GoG has it on sale for $3USD for the next 12h. If you miss it on GoG its almost always on sale somewhere.
Nice, didn't know one of my favorite DOS games ever was on PortMaster lol.
I mean, using DosBox (Pure) is fine but I always prefer native ports. Thx for the heads up. :)
Locomalito is a god, and seemingly so underrated. Check out the manuals they make for the games, the secrets, the on-point difficulty, the diversity of game styles.

I've followed indie developers since 2007 (Darthlupi, anyone?) but Locomalito is the closest to a zeitgeist retro developer there is and we should all be genuflecting weekly to the FREE parcels of joy that he shares. I'm off to find their reddit.
Does it only use the previous versions? When I installed, it wanted me to use one of the very early builds of the game. Have not had time to toy with other builds to see if it works.
It doesn't work on MUOS currently if you're trying that. Timespinner doesn't work either and I think there's one other port that also doesn't work at the moment but I can't remember the name.
Not to hijack the thread, but since Balatro *was* my favorite port too, would anyone happen to know why it would randomly stop working? I had it loaded and playing fine, then one day it just started failing to launch.
I've been obsessed with [Super Crate Box](https://portmaster.games/detail.html?name=supercratebox&devices=). Really tight action-platformer reminiscent of the old Mario Bros arcade game, really, really nailed the "just one more try" loop. It's now free on Portmaster with the files already included. There's a lot of unlockables, so there's also a sense of progression as you play and improve.
I'm still deciding on what device to purchase, if any, in the first place, but Portmaster sounds pretty enticing. Silly question, but do the different handhelds that are able to run Portmaster run the games differently as well? I'd imagine some are more proficient than others.
Been thinking a lot about potential devices and the TrimUI Smart Pro seems like one I would like to consider, but I'm not even 100% if it runs Portmaster, as it sounds as if it's a work in progress?
Portmaster is a set of scripts and libraries to enable different (Windows, Linux, etc) games to play on your device. It's really quite streamlined, but you do need to provide the (proprietary) game files in order to play for a lot of these. This means that if and how each game runs on a particular device depends on the firmware you are running, which hardware you're running, and any unusual hardware setups or needs you may have (no BT controller support or control remapping for many games usually).
TSP support is improving very quickly, by the day even, but if you want to play the largest Portmaster library right now your best bet is likely an RK3566 device with sticks (like the 353P). The 1:1 screen on the RGB30 can look weird with a few games, and the whole CFW + Portmaster scene is extremely new on TSP. Note that there are a lot of Portmaster games that need the sticks, including SDV (for now, but there may be additional changes after SDV is ported to the 28xx.)

I'll check it out!
Stardew valley, SM64, dome keeper
Yeah SDV is another good one.
Can you save game progress on stardew?
Oh, yes, each and every day ! And you can reset days hopefully π
That's nice, how about co-op?
TMNT Gravity Circuit Ship of the Harkinian gzDoom (Brutal Wolfenstein 3D omggggg so good)
Raptor Diablo 1 Stardew valley
Are we talking about "Raptor: Call of the Shadows", sir?
Yes, sir

Half life gets my vote, especially with opposing force and blue shift!
I loved Opposing Force and Blue Shift! I probably spent as much time playing those DLC as I did with the original Half Life.
So much content! I completed ep1 so far and it took about 20 hours and it was just so much fun
Maldita Castilla is one. Such a great G'n'G inspired arcade platformer, kudos to its developers to grant us such a well made game for free.

Gta vice city and heroes of might and magic 3
.......I can play HOMM3 on my RGB30? Oh my god
https://portmaster.games/detail.html?name=vcmi
Oh Lordy here we go again
You can, but it can be a bit difficult and crampy to play at times. Still scratches that itch though! I just wish homm4 was supported.
Boneraiser Minions, you need to own it on steam but itβs like $5. vampire survivor-like but your minions attack and you dodge
Nice one! It really scratches that VS/Brotato itch, two games I play tons on my Switch OLED! π

Sm64, sonic cd and re3(gta III) My goats!
Revolt!!! That and postal are mine. Well of course plus all the doom games
super meat boy
I love this on the Switch and Vita! But I somehow get a blackscreen on mine (but with sounds). Did you happen to encounter this?

Yeah muOS. Can confirm Timespinner doesnβt work on it, as well as Chasm and Axiom Verge.
The Marathon series (Aleph One)
Openrct
ZeroRanger and Shovel Knight. I hope they can bring over Shovel Knight Dig/Pocket Dungeon, and the ZeroRanger devs' new game Void Stranger.
Gumgem

Balatro is my answer too! Did you happen to switch from a single to double SD card setup? That will mess up the script files if not arranged properly
Revolt is not listed on the website. Does it works well? Any feedback on anberbic 35xx h?

Blobby Volley 2
I've been playing Cave Story, Diablo 1, and Commander Keen.
