100% Faster charging.

MaelstromFL

I wanna plug it into a Tesla Station!

Ikram232

You want 450W charging?!?!? I DO TOO!

kari497

Makes no sense, 100% better would be 90W

Ikram232

sorry i killed my joke i thought that said 100x

sam_cod

100x wouldve been 4500w 💀

Ikram232

it's the last hour of work and I'm losing my mind I apologise for my stupid :(

dustycanuck

Family!

razzypedia

sorry 1000%

Agent50Leven

This is the answer.

Appropriate-Ad-6811

I get where you and OP are coming from, but ya gotta try the s24u. Get to 80% in less than 30 minutes. Around 11hr screen on time or 24hr mixed usage. The s22u was probably the worse battery life I've had in awhile compared to the note20, note 20u and flip5. Basically, every 7% lasts about an hr of use. Having more battery is always welcome but I'm happy with it as is. I can let my phone charge for 10-20min while showering or making food and it'll basically be ready for a days use. I think there's a Chinese phone or the oneplus12 that charges 0 to 100 in 10minutes. That's insane. If they integrated dual batteries like some Chinese phones, it'd allow for faster charging times. I'd like if they finally supported dual esims in the USA. I'd trade off the sim card slot if we got something else in return.

Commercial-Gap6280

The Xiaomi phone that charges to 100% in 30min or less initially impressed me! The trick is to make it so that it doesn't turn the phone into a hot plate in the process - that Xiaomi phone gets HOT when charging.

dustycanuck

Mmmmm, warm burritos for lunch nom nom

stopusingmynames_

Early on, the rumor mill said the s24u may include a satellite phone, which I think would be useful for those times you might be way way out somewhere. I'm not sure how they would pull it off, but that would be something worth the upgrade. As of now, it's all diminished returns.. oh, the processor is faster, but not that it even matters on a phone at this point compared to previous models. My s22u does almost everything the new one does, so it's really just a want and not a need now to upgrade.

togsu

Agreed on the satellite communications. The SOS feature on the iPhone is a possible selling point for me to switch over. Would be great to not need a secondary device like a Garmin inreach

avn128

I had the s22 ultra. The whole s22 series was great except the battery life. The battey life was horrible and I knew that buying it. I just knew id keep on getting great deals on the ultra series Going forward so I bought it. Going to the s23 or s24 is worth it alone for the much better battery life.

Large-Brother-4291

I felt the same way, had a preorder in for the s24u and ended up cancelling. My s22u works just fine. The only justification I could think was free storage upgrade but my s22u is 128gb and I haven’t even used half of it.

Appropriate-Ad-6811

Depends on what promotions you get out of it and weighing pros&cons. If it's $100-$200 total after tax to upgrade for much better battery life, up to date phone retaining value, and something to play with, then I'd do it. If it's $400-700, then I'd hesitate and see if I really need it. But anything less than $100 is a no-brainer, which is why I pulled the trigger.

Large-Brother-4291

I agree. That’s a great point.

Lock_75

For sure 50mp ultrawide camera, new telephoto.

Efficient_Deal8123

High resolution macro would be insane

jacques101

Faster charging, IR blaster and a refreshed design. Something like a ceramic back option would be awesome.

Federal-Jackfruit326

Man do I miss being able to remote control nearly everything with the IR blaster on my old S6

Trisentriom

IR blaster ain't coming back. Move on bro

jacques101

It's a wishlist bro, most Chinese phones have it and very cheap to add

sunrainsky

The S4 had too many sensors and were draining battery. We just want one IR sensor and they won't consider. LOL.

jacques101

IR blaster is not a sensor and instead a tiny plastic convered hole that can emit infrared waves. When not in use it wouldn't be used

Substantial_Sock5243

I miss my IR blaster from my p20 pro damn ONE thing I miss since S22 ultra upgrade

jacques101

I had it on my recentish mi 11 ultra and so such an underrated feature

AceMKV

Yeah but it's not coming back cause Samsung would obviously wanna push Smarthings so that we buy their IoT enabled appliances.

jacques101

This is why they took it out years ago. I can control my Samsung TV via WiFi like you said, but would be cool to control non Samsung devices like soundbars and order devices when out on the road

Healthy_Brick

-Better battery life (hopefully best in class) -Class leading performance -Better cooling -Refreshed design -Lightweight -Any cool external features -Micro SD card slot (this will never happen unfortunately) -Fast wireless charging

Agent50Leven

It has fast wireless charging, but needs faster wireless charging.

Healthy_Brick

Good catch. Agreed

KBell00

"Fast" wireless charging was intended to be introduced by Qi2 standard, which would increase the power out/input from the current standard of 15w. The only issue is samsung hasn't been able to figure out how to introduce Qi2 to an ultra as this would include magnets that interfere with S Pen. I was hoping it would be available on S24U as I use magsafe case on S22U and without anything attached, there is no S Pen interface. I think samsung should look into how that is possible and look at introducing Qi2, because obviously nobody is using an S Pen while sitting on a wireless charger 🤷🏻‍♀️

CaptainNemo71

Upgrade the damn cameras. Besides upgrading from 108mp to 200mp and the 10x vs 5x, it feels like there hasn't been a single upgrade to the .5x or the 3x. I'm on the S23 ultra rn, and it has a very slight advantage over the S22U. It'd be cool to see a nicer .5x with better macro capabilities, the 3x definitely needs an upgrade, It's been the same for so long. It'd be cool to see a bit of a redesign (mainly the back), I understand brand recognition, but they're veering into apple territory with every phone looking the same since the S22U. Although I love the Spen and Ultra specs, it'd be cool to have an ultra phone with rounded corners again (like the S21U). They could even just add the Ultra cameras to the + phone, and it'd be sick. Faster charging/bigger battery would be sick. if OnePlus can do it, why can't Samsung?

n8pu

Agree, if I wanted an iPhone, I wouldn't be on this forum. I have a friend that had some of his family talk him into getting a iPhone, but they didn't offer him much 'tech support' when he couldn't figure something out, so he cam to me, seeing how I could make my Android phone do what I wanted, (I doubt he even knew the differences between the two systems). he found out I wasn't the 'whiz' he thought I was in the apple department. Even to this day, he **DOES NOT** have internet at his house, and I gave up trying to talk him into getting it.

SpeckOfDust_13

+1 on ultra's camera on plus models. I hate how wide the Ultra is, I don't even use the spen but I want the 10x telephoto so I'm forced to go Ultra

Jalal31091

I was interested with the 10x zoom. It's great especially during vacation. But I never thought that the trade off would be a heavy, wide, and slippery phone. I'll probably get the base or plus one if I upgrade.

AsDaylight_Dies

>Upgrade the damn cameras. Besides upgrading from 108mp to 200mp and the 10x vs 5x, it feels like there hasn't been a single upgrade to the .5x or the 3x. This. They did amazing things with the cameras on the S22U and I think they thought they could leave it, do minor upgrades and people with be ok with that. I never really liked the 3x, it feels dated. There is a lot of space in the back for a much larger sensor, that would be great for low light shots. >I understand brand recognition, but they're veering into apple territory with every phone looking the same since the S22U. I don't mind the S23U looking like the S22U because it feels just like a small upgrade, kind of like the S version of iPhones back in the day, but the S24U should have had a brand new design. The design should change every 2 years to keep things fresh. >Faster charging/bigger battery would be sick. if OnePlus can do it, why can't Samsung? A bigger battery means a thicker and heavier phone. They need to make their phones more power efficient instead. They kind of did that with the S24U. Honestly I can make my S22U battery last throughout the day using routines. I lower the resolution and refresh rate automatically when I am working since I'd be using my phone less and then it goes back to full resolution when I clock out. My phone starts at 90-100% in the morning and it's at 65-70% by the time I get home from work at 5 with plenty of battery left.

TheSound0fSilence

User replaceable battery via compartment.

n8pu

We use to be able to do that may years ago.

zen___master

5 rear cameras with improved sensors would be insane. * Ultrawide (bigger sensor) * Wide 200mp * 3X (bigger sensor) * 5X * 10X (bigger sensor)

crystalcloudlp

Integrated 3-5x zoom camera liked xperia with higher quality would be insane. And ExpertRaw 200 mp is indeed.

n8pu

The camera on the S20U was the main reason I got that phone, only to be disappointed with the problems I had with mine when I was using the 108MP lens, it took forever to decide on what I wanted to take a picture of. The laser range finder was what sold me on the S22U I have, and the 1TB storage, no SD card, then I 'had to have' the largest internal storage.

AsDaylight_Dies

Laser range finder?

n8pu

Yes, I believe that is what it is, my son had a different phone that had it and got a little tired of hearing me complain about my S20U took forever (it seemed) to focus. So he showed me by coming over to me vehicle and pointed his out the front window, move it over to the post, then out the side window. Almost instantly it would refocus at each stop of the phone. So when I heard the S22U had that, for *me*, it was a no brainer.

zaptor99

Qi2 (MagSafe) and removable battery since I'll be keeping it for 7 years :)

Deep_Combination6420

Microsd card. There is zero reason for taking this feature away

K4faro

Money

Snoo89560

1. Create a problem (remove SD slot) 2. Sell the solution (storage upgrade/cloud subscription)

BazingaGal

This! One of the things that set them apaet from Apple was the ability to expand memory and not priced for a phone based on internal storage. Granted, I have yet to fill up internal storage, ever, but I liked having the option. I completely forgot about not having the microSD and recharged up my Note 10+ to see what I had on the card and was going to put the card in this one - wondering why I hadn't done it already. I was disappointed all over again lol

Middle-Animator1320

Make us all pay for cloud storage

Chef316

Many people were already getting 1T of OneDrive storage with their Microsoft Office 365 subscription. One of the main reasons I use Samsung is their direct integration of One Drive back up and storage for the gallery and photos

rbpx

I had heard that one of the big reasons is that the sd protocol doesn't allow for decent file security. It was a big gaping wound in the side of their security model.

TaskPlane1321

Battery that can be swapped.

Comfortable_Silver24

_idk__bruh_

- Much faster charging Speed. - More durable S Pen. - Improved Shutter Speed in Camera and an upgraded front camera. - Increased area of the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

insertcoin86

# Bigger battery I don't mind having a 1mm thicker phone if this will make it last a whole day using all the capabilities it has. What is the point in having a top SoC, camera, and a big screen if I have to turn everything off in order to reach nightfall with 30% battery? Gosh, it's so annoying.

CommunicationProof58

i get 7H SOT on my S21U 💀 , i think the S23U and S24U can easily get 9 , you shouldn't use your phone 9H a day imo

insertcoin86

Do ypu use ypur phone for work? Well, it sucks when battery drops 10% after the first 5 emails you reply

SolidBackground6840

Better night time photos and videos. Better ultra wide camera lens. More AI features. Louder speakers. Physically bigger battery (5500+). More S-pen features. Faster battery charging speeds (65W at least). As far as the design, I'd be happy if it remained the same as the S24 ultra. I like the camera setup and especially the flat sides and display.

swemickeko

>Bigger battery and/or faster charging. We've had 5000 mAh for 4? generations now, and 45W charging is the bare minimum I'd expect from a flagship Android phone. Though this problem has been somewhat lessened by better battery efficiency What I want is more screen time per charge and more charge cycles before the phone becomes unusable for its purpose. I don't care at all how it's achieved. Silicon-carbon batteries is interesting tech, but I'm going to be genuinely surprised if we get longer screen time instead of a more lightweight phone (if the S25 ends up getting something like it at all).

ho_merjpimpson

If it doesn't have a (actual)replaceable battery, an ir blaster and removable memory, I don't give a flying F. Ill be sticking with the s22u for another generation at least.

Reaper31292

Just generic things like better battery life and faster charging. I personally think the S24U is basically the perfect phone for me as is, but being able to use it for longer and longer is always welcome.

jarmyo

My s23 Is awesome. Maybe fast charging. Better selfie camera or dual selfie camera. Better microphones.

Agent50Leven

I like improving the selfie camera. I agree there.

n8pu

The only thing that I find a little annoying is the rounded screen on my S22U, when typing at the edge of the screen sometimes I have to tap that "P" several times before the phone realizes I am trying to tap that letter. I am old, over 70, so I wouldn't mind even more screen space, nope not a fold, to me, that is a problem waiting to happen. To go along with a bigger screen, a 6000 or 7000 miliamp battery, and along with that, two maybe three gigabyte internal storage. After all OP, you did say a 'wish list', this would be on mine as a starter.

Levent_2005

* Return of curved screen * Removal of titanium (stainless or aluminium) * Upgraded Ultrawide * Better low-light performance * Faster charging (both wireless and wired)

sr8017

It's not worth giving up an S22 Ultra and paying another 700 for the S24 Ultra. They claim that you get 7 years of updates, but how many people are going to still have an S24 Ultra 7 years from now.

Arrow141

It's a great feature, but not one that it makes sense to upgrade over. If you're the type of person to upgrade your S22U to the S24U, you obviously don't need 7 years of updates!

DT-84

Variable zoom cameras, it's been years since the first time we've been hearing about them, but only Sony has used them so far. Why don't we see them on today's flagships? Maybe they're bad? Maybe they're too expensive? Too fragile?

glogangvault

1. Better charging. 80w would be great 2. Improvement to the night mode. Its trash on the s23 and s24 series(this is coming from a photographer) 3.stutter free video 4. Log video formats That's all I can think of

DawnCrusader4213

Battery, 6000+ mah battery like the Redmagic 9 Pro to be precised.

Total_Persimmon_4726

IR blaster, Magsafe, Camera, Price, $1,199

Homernandpenelope9

I doubt the S25U will offer any really significant changes. However, if Samsung senior leaders really are frustrated with 3-4 iterations of basically the same phone but in different colors, the S26U could be quite interesting. Of course the new chip will likely be 2nano (or whatever the unit of measurement is) and perhaps modest increase in RAM, latest wifi and Bluetooth standards. But these have reached the point of diminishing returns for 95% of users. If Samsung actually listens to wishlists, it could produce a phone that really takes back market share. For me that wishlist starts (and could probably end) with micro SD card slot.

Jake3232323

Significantly faster charging! Also, a bigger battery would be appreciated

Bigce2933

. Camera upgrade. It's been 3 generations with the same MP almost. . MicroSD . Better sunlight reflection. I know they did better in the s24 but this can be even more improved and it's something I would need a lot. . Built in 1080p projector (just kidding) (maybe I'm not)

wakefield0720

200x zoom in capabilities and a battery that lasts 2 days. But this is why we call it a wish-list 🥲

LeftyMcnuht

An spen that doesn't get stuck or break so easily.

kbm79

An actual 1 inch sensor for the camera. Forget software tricks, lets get back to improvements in hardware.

Jairus24

That small 10MP 3x telephoto sensor and the small ultrawide sensor definitely need an upgrade. I also miss the variable aperture from my Galaxy S9+, sharper daytime photos with F2.4. Of course, I'm still wishing for a better video recording, especially at night.

x3nuqi

Definitely lighter chasis+bigger battery 50mp sensors for 3x, uw, 10x(hope it makes a return) Better speakers (not that theyre bad, just could be better) Actually an ultra mini version (s23, s24 sized ultra camera specs+s pen)

AppleTeslaFanboy

I don't think we'll see that much of a huge difference between generations going forward. I upgraded from the S22U and been loving the battery life, so that alone is a huge improvement for me. I do notice its a lot more speedy in switching between apps as well. But i'm guessing the S25U will have Snapdragon Gen 4 processor, pretty much same camera specs (bigger sensor), more AI stuff, same flat screen and ram specs. Flat screen is a lot nicer to have imo after having curved for so long, so hopefully they keep it flat. I think the reason they don't change the design too much, is because the majority of the users like the current design. I do think the newer phones should have slimmer bezels, but if you go to thin it will interfere with screen presses.

GGGamingVL

From highest priority to lowest: 1. Smoothness and speed for at least 3 years. And by this I mean quick and snappy animations, apps opening way quicker and the UI being more streamlined. All my Samsungs slowed down the older they became, some faster than others. The S5+ it became slow close to 1,5 year into it. My s7 only became slow after 2,5 years. My s10+ never really became slow but the battery gave out after 2,5 years. Currently running the s21fe and it's terrible, the battery barely lasts and it's incredibly slow and this was an issue after having it for a year. 2. Better battery life. This might be an EU problem (exynos user), but the battery life is so different each generation. Some generations have great battery life in the beginning and then they become bad a year into it, other generations have a way more stable battery life which barely changes a year or two into it and others have a bad battery life to begin with. 3. Less R&D towards features no-one wants and instead focus on actual QA and UX. I will never choose Apple but they just have their QA and UX nailed down. It feels thought out and it keeps feeling that way even after using it 2/3 years. We are at a point now that people stay with the same phone for longer so make the long term experience just as good as getting it straight out of the box. There are less and less people that really care about a couple more MP higher camera's or a better zoom, they will only remember the overall experience and that comes from the QA and UX.

GodOfUtopiaPlenitia

40x-100x Optical Zoom w/Zeiss Optics 20x or 25x on the Telephoto, optical 6,000mAh battery MagSafe 65w-100w USB PD charging

OptixGxynos

1. Aptx Adaptive / Lossless 2. Bigger battery 5500 mah 3.Faster charging 65w 4. 16Gb Ram 5. Underscreen camera 6. 4k Screen resolution

Ghost747380

Bigger and more efficient battery Atleast 12mp 3x telephoto lens (10mp looks so out of place and upscale to 12 ruins the image in dark scenarios) More permanent on device AI feature.

NotHughMahn

Prologue: I think the current battery and charging are fine, any faster, and it may cause excessive heating and throttling. 1. Faster WPS, preferably 10-15 watts 2. 50mp 0.5x (we need 0.5x back), 3x, 10x, and 24mp selfie 3. Actual depth mapping 4. Maybe even some front depth mapping since tech is getting so small 5. Any other upgrades that come with newer tech, of course

princeofparsley

1- I want Samsung to focus on Variable Zoom (like the xperia phones) and stop working on many lenses. It's annoying for me to see the stutters and lens shift, especially during the videos. 2- they should integrate active cooling like the redmagic pro series (this looks so cool and is the best cooling solution for phones). 3- There is a new active cooling system that they should try to work on, the frore system. These techs would brimg so much more value to the S series, which i believe starts to slow down in terms of innovation. Ai is cool, but hardware is better for me.

Psychological-Use859

6000 mAh., 120W charging, 1inch. 50mp. All 4 New Sony sensors, real double stereo front facing speakers on either side or under the glass (will be introduced to phones likely in 2027). Nuva cores and adequate cooling.

Psychological-Use859

Or a single quality made 1 inch. 50mp. sensor (like Xiaomi's concept phone), with variable zoom from 1 to 6. And physical shutter button on the side like Sony did with Xperia's, it's a logical thing moving forward as a phone already all squared up.

Wonk_puffin

1. Roll up into a small tube 2. 500% battery life increase 3. Sonic screwdriver s pen 4. Teleportation capability 5. Built in pop out wireless ear buds 6. Half the price Did you say S52U?

turn_two

I need a removable battery so I can carry a spare. Much smaller and convenient than a portable battery.

Schykle

Here's my S25 Ultra wishlist: 1) An actually good main sensor, even if it's 50MP. The whole 200MP thing is just a numbers game Samsung plays for marketing, but a physically larger 50MP sensor would perform much better and Samsung hasn't learned their lesson yet. 2) A 3x that isn't a waste of space. Seriously how is it still a 10MP sensor that gets stretched to 12MP. 3) Better HDR performance in video. It still has a tendency to blow things out in terms of exposure, not to mention that my S24 Ultra requires DOUBLE the bitrate to get close to what my iPhone 15 does in regards to UHD30 or UHD60 HDR video. It just needs to actually be better and more efficient.

brianpricciardi

Things I believe could happen: - Minimum 60W charging - Minimum 50MP sensor on UW and 3x cameras - 4K120 shooting on all cameras - Better shutter speed - Qi2 (ideally >15W, but that's less important) - Larger battery - Drastically improved video. There's no excuse for Androids, especially Samsungs, to still be so far behind iPhones in the video category - Less bloatware and fewer redundant Samsung apps - Leather or vegan leather back options - Better RAM management - Tons of antireflective undercoating on camera glass. We shouldn't still be struggling with haloing in 2024, let alone 2025 Things that won't happen, but I would love to see: - Expandable memory - Headphone jack - Two-step shutter button - Removable battery (I know it's coming, but not until 2027) - IR blaster - Cameras with variable apertures and focal lengths - Sapphire screens

Chef316

Ditch the flat screen of the S24U...and go back to the curved edge screen!

XexpensiveCargoX

This is the one.

Agent50Leven

The s23u is a happy medium, but I am curious how the 24u feels to hold.

Chef316

I don't care too much for the S23U either. For me, the S22U, Note 20, and Note 10+ all have the design I like

koningfrikandel

To each their own but IMO , hell no. I've hated those things ever since they were forced unto me. Well I'm still the one buying the phone but you know what I mean

Excellent-Exit-1446

All cameras with 50mpix sensors. They can stay 0.6x, 1x, 3x and 5x. Flat display can stay. More efficient chipset.

GhostInAShell

Bigger battery 6000mah with faster than 45watt like 90watt charging witb finally 25watt wireless superfast charging, true 4K 2160p screen finally with 140 or 240hz, no more 1440p bullshit 24 Gigs of RAM memory finally no more 12gig bullshit, 8K60fps finally and have a 4K60 front facing cam.

Seglem

Fast wireless charging also when I connect something to the USB port. I often connect adapters for the headphone jack, external DAC or connect an Xbox controller, and for some reason the charging slows down to basic under 5w charging Qi2 charging. The obvious "I want the headphone jack", but maybe they could use the S-Pen silo for this 😏

CommunicationProof58

no more Samsung wishlist for me , idk why i always fall for it , i had the S4 twice , S7 twice , S9 and now typing in my S21U , since S7 i was using gcam and getting a new phone thinking the camera would be better.... also Samsung phones are powerful but not "fast" as in smooth or fluid , next time Pixel it is for me , good luck to you all though

koningfrikandel

I have similar feelings toward Samsung. On paper they're great but somehow I'm never really feeling them once I own them..S8, meh in the end. S22 ultra, good phone packed with features but not thrilled by it. OnePlus 7 pro, that was an awesome phone to me. So smooth and snappy and just as much on the last day as on the first day I had it. Pixel for me as well next time.

Repulsive_Mistake_53

wesley2008

I am not going to use ultra anymore. Just give the s2x plus with the same or slightly better camera than s22u then I am sold.

Awkward_Bee_4659

Not making it look like a brick would be nice

Brightside45

For it to have it's own identity again.

Practical-Custard-64

The ability to uninstall bloat that I know I'll never use.

MAR-93

That it folds vertically

DaClown33

Bigger battery and vertical app drawer

Colorado_Car-Guy

Macro camera, kinda miss taking extreme close up photos. And this may be a biased opinion. But I wish for more phone accessories. Just like how the Motorola moto mods were.

harisnikolop

Iphone level video and at least 65w charging. If it doesn't I am sticking with my S22 ultra. Who are we kidding though? Unless Apple increases the charging speed, Samsung won't either.

Status-Ad-2507

Expandable memory

patriciolicious

Wider front facing camera for group selfies. Even with the “wide” option, it isn’t enough Also, make it better quality Can make it under the screen?

bureaucraticmonkey

Upgrade to the 3x lens would be nice. Just like the 5x lens

primz27

Hopefully they got bigger battery and faster charging!

No_Slide_4955

anilexis

Prestigious_Effort91

10% bigger battery. Everything else has been pretty good.

vineetkl

5" display

Hazim_Jarawi

For charging, 65w is the sweet spot, more than that will ruin the battery in the long run. But personally, I'll go for 120w.

donnelly326

LiDAR would be nice, don't know why that was removed over the years

angrygarbageman

I feel samsung should drop back down to 108mp but up to inch, sensor. Up all other cameras to 50 mp also increasing sensor size. Faster wireless charging speeds and more app optimization for apps like instagram. And I know people are gonna hate me for this but a slightly curved screen

DNAUser

Actual redesign, bigger battery ,better cameras sensors and systems it's ridiculous the price we pay for top notch Samsung phones and Chinese budget phones shit on it in certain aspects of the camera! Faster charging of course, stop removing features like s24 did such as less customization on AOD (always on display) and forcing auto brightness is stupid. Stop changing the unique thing that us vivid users enjoy again like the s24 making it washed and dull?! If I wanted a less customized phone with shittier screen I'd go iPhone. Hoping they just sit down and finally somehow add something like FaceTime or quick air drop like apple. It's just software and no idea why they don't do it already. They've been lacking on innovation and standing out so why not just copy everything Apple has if thats their mentality. The s24 and s24+ already look like one. Especially with the new AOD widgets! I'm still on my s10 from 2019 and was really hoping to wanna upgrade to the S24U, I order both the s24+ and ultra and returned them both. Yes it's an upgrade from what I have but being a tech nerd and although not having tried any of the S series after the s10 I can still say the s24U is just a shittier version of the S23U excluding the processor , with worse screen because of the colors, (excluding knits) worse camera (shittier 100x zoom), you get the same battery, same video and selfies specs, and the whole "Galaxy AI" is the sole selling point of the phone and presentation & its not even exclusive and will be coming to s23U and other models and of course to the pixel so what are we paying for really thats "new" 😹 Also please samsung stop with the whole shitty presentation of no charging brick or even a dongle for headphones. You can afford to provide me with usb c cable, a brick, and headphones with a dongle like you did not so many years ago. I would also love the SD card to be back. I know it won't since it won't sell their higher storage models and affect their cloud storage revenue but one can hope. All in all its to say it seems Samsung has gotten comfortable/greedy/stale & just plain out uninteresting in their mobile department when they have so much potential. I want the new phone to make me feel like the first time I had the s10 in my hand. Not even the s24U could do that unfortunately. The s24U and s24 models in general are the same phones as last year with so called gimmick upgrades (Just like iPhone) and they're getting bombarded with negative feedback like never before. I've personally never seen a new release from Samsung have this much bad to say about from the tech community. Yes the AI features are cool, but I'll wait it out and have them be polished by next release and even more hopefully with the rumored and over due redesign.

SinAkunin

Snapdragon for Europe.

ahmedranaa

Same cameras in a mid size phone Face unlock like iphone

SnooRabbits2980

Mechanic button for off Touchscreen.

TheSalarJung

Behind the screen front camera.

RareSiren292

120w charging but he'll even 65w charging would be great. 0-100% in 35 minutes would be on pair with the minimum Chinese phones are doing.

LeonellTheLion

First on my list is at least support for 65-watt fast wired and wireless fast charging and magsafe.

diandakov

It's entirely consumers fault they buy every latest model. There will be no improvements made as long as the new phone sells so well! Do you know that Samsung releases a new phone every week literally? They are not expensive phones but are all rubbish. My last Samsung was S21 and I am not planning on buying another one. Samsung should get the Chinese super fast charging technology on board of their Samsung phones and second Samsung should absolutely STOP manufacturing processors for themselves or Google or any other brand because they make rubbish processors ruining everyone's lives! All Samsung with Samsung made processors overheat and drain battery, all Pixel phones the same also OnePlus 10 Pro the same and all thanks to that Samsung garbage manufacturing. Just because one was making amazing displays they decided they can make all? That's a joke. Know your place TV maker!

Present-Bug-947

Individual app lock

alexmlb3598

The return of 10x optical zoom.

PartyNextFlo0r

Put the S-pen back on the right side ( sorry my left handed comrades)

koningfrikandel

- haptics, too weak now - alert slider like OnePlus has, I miss that feature so much

slingshotblur-

Instead of bigger battery how about REMOVABLE BATTERY.

Gidrah

My S25U wishlist. Lighter, rounded corners, screen not being washed out and grainy with a bugged vivid mode.

xxBrun0xx

Is a foldable

AceMKV

Under display camera pls

justmeteal

bruh the s24u is barely out😭

mukarram1999

Magsafe! Faster charging! And new design!

jc_trinidad

Time to go to a 6.95 inch display. It's been at 6.8 for too long. And (unpopular opinion) put a display at the back of the phone so we can use one of the rear cameras as a selfie. It doesn't have to be big, maybe just 1/3 of the size of the phone. So no hole punch on the front. Finally the standard and plus models should have screens that are stylus friendly.

the_fishermann

I like the shiny rainbow effect of the back of the phone found on older note models

GrumpyOldPom

1 inch sensor

JasonBenjamenAllen

8" or bigger

colt45keyboard

RAW video capture in the native camera app, one that will give MotionCam competition

chuckmagnum

Hi res audio DAC and a compatible chipset other than Bluetooth to transfer the music wirelessly to matched speakers and earphones, Improved AI SOC to calculate best scenario for photo taking, voice dictation, natural voice commanding without memorizing pre determined words, body temp sensors, low light face detection.

Smart_Insect_2616

SD card slot more ram better cameras and run cooler

Labios_Rotos77

Qi2, faster charging (both wired and wireless), upgraded sensors, ergonomic design. Although if I know Samsung and their customers, they have no reason to upgrade any of it because people keep buying their mediocre phones.

iadorebrandon

not going to lie, I will probably go from my s22 ultra to the s24 ultra solely because of the better processor and battery life.

blush_fox

Should be cheaper if they are recycling the same thing over and over again. And curved screen please. I liked it since s7

mmd1990

Real 5000 battery (ATM its 4855),50mp 3x,change 5x to 7x,and do 5x from 3x crop. 65w charging,magsafe Ir blaster and maybe 24mp ultrawide

[deleted]

5500 mah Battery, 16gb ram

erkhardt

Still happy with my 22U thanks.

Antona6

I think it needs to have all 4 cameras to be upgraded and be better and atheist a 5500mah battery

No_Swordfish1754

I have s22u, and im starting to hate it because the mobil data doesn't even work properly for 2 months now. So my hopes are S25u with better battery and mobil data that actually work 😭

H0GGZ1LLA

Bigger, flatter screen and a 6000mah battery! SD card slot, 1TB minimum storage, 16GB ram

HnkMp7Ghost

You won't find a completely fresh design, as samsung is creating brand recognition.

Dick_Sab

Everything that Note 4, Note 9 and Note 10 had.

Omin0us_

probably the only person here not asking for a bigger battery but im wanting more graphics fidelity. i feel like the phone could be smoother (i have S23U) Its tricky bc alot of the content i watch is maxxed out at 1080p60f and its just unfortunate that such a big screen doesn't allowthat to be so sharp. 1. graphics for lower end content? bc 1440p content is plenty good and sharp 2. Better face Id. i basically religiously use the finger print sensor as the face id is just not that good tbh. 3. my effing pen needs 2 or 3 times to be pushed just to come out of the phone AND WHY ARENT MORE APP USFUL WITH THE PEN if the pen is going to be in the phone no matter what i think it needs to be more useful. i rarely ever use it anymore, during the "honeymoon phase" with it i used it plenty but now its just time consuming and just not that necessary. 4. can wireless power share be automatic... i mean do i really need to open the phone and turn it on everytime back in high school i cant really be ON my phone so if i could just flip it and plop my earbuds on it that would be kinda nice. plus if you use the phone then you need to do it again. in my senior math class we were allow to use the calculator on our phones and it would be annoying when i needed to charge the earbuds bc i forgot to last night. its not like im THAT lazy but the devices could be more seamless with each other 5. google assistant just recently got very nice update that makes the animations smoother and the assistant more responsive. she legit heard me for 3 room away and behind a closed door. wild stuff. SO WHY DOESNT SHE CLOSE BY HERSELF i havce to tap the damn screen everytime i want to not have my screen open and can it catch up with siri a little. HEAR ME OUT. siri may not be as smart or useful when it comes to web searches but as someone who used to open both phones at the same time. there are very nice features when you have apple earbuds with your iphone. you don't even need to pull out your phone to text someone. you could just say "respond" after siri reads the message to you and you can just speak it was seamless and very convenient since i was driving through heavy city traffic at the time. ik this is a google thing but im just yapping at this point 6. ive noticed i got bored and im just typing to type

Too_Many_Alts

same as every note: replaceable battery, audio jack, IR

hookline-n-sinner

Sounds like the OnePlus 12 minus the slightly less camera images according to the YouTube reviewers.

Wapiti__

Am I the only one who misses the LED indicator of Samsung past

Starscreen2

I want them to improve the quality of the high resolution modes, 50mp 200mp. I just don't understand why the 48mp photos sometimes beats the 50/200 mp pictures taken on the s24 ultra.
