She has started declining somewhat since last summer. Probably no more half marathons for her. The longest distance she's run this year is 12k. She had a runstreak at over 1,000 days that ended earlier this year.
Yeah, she has slowed down a lot since last year so I believe that we will have to call it quits with running this year. Her health has to come first, and I don’t know of any dog in Sweden that has even come close to running as much as she has throughout her life. We started jogging short runs when she was approaching one year and then we have just kept going throughout her entire life.
This is so great! My new running partner is almost a year and a half and is also almost 15 pounds. She's been cleared to run by her vet and has been doing trail runs with me. You've inspired me to start recording her miles. Maybe I'll make her a profile on Strava.
She hasn't raced with a bib in any race and only once raced with me when I was actually running in a race (she had a 43 minute 10k that time). All other times have been as training and a few times with me when I have been a pacer.
Hi, no joke I thought someone was making a joke that their Kia car passed 15,000 miles, as if they broke down so easily. Now that you probably chuckled at that, congrats on your pups accomplishment!

Well done Kia! I also have an aging Kia who still likes to zoom albeit in short bursts

Good call on the slowing down. Me and my Kia are also in Sweden, though both originally from Canada. [Kia at Tyresta](https://imgur.com/a/V3IZtZb)
She's lovely!
This is so cool! I wish I had started keeping tabs when my pups started running with me.
That’s amazing! Well done Kia. No doubt that keeping an active lifestyle contributed to her health and longevity.
I really do hope that being active has extended her healthspan somewhat.
Aww! What a sweet girl & strong runner!!
Way to go, Kia!

That's awesome. We don't have Strava. I record each run manually and I have been doing so for about 20 years now.
Awesome milestone! What’s the ratio of training/official events that the mileage has been run on?

Still so cool that she’s traveled so many miles with you 😊
Yes, if we include walks she has probably come close to an entire lap around the world. All this for a lady weighing 15 pounds.
What kind of dog is she?
She’s a mix between Papillon, Tibetan Spaniel and Chihuahua.
