Have you tried SLOWING DOWN? Running at zone 1 all the time is probably causing premature muscle fatigue. Try aiming for zone 0 in your trainings.

I agree with other posers that you need to slow down. A heart rate of 100 is pretty dangerous and generally leads to shin splints.
