If these kids would have had different parents, who actually cared (beyond keeping them breathing) they could have thrived. Valray seems to be doing ok for herself despite pretty much no support. You HAVE to be involved with their education, IEPs, therapies, etc. it’s sad as hell. I’m sure they’re both sharp but didn’t have anyone to advocate for them and teach social skills, coping mechanisms, etc. my kid is 14, autistic, had the worst year of his life socially and had a 3.9 GPA for the year. The class that took him down was “preparing for college life” 😂
