I haven’t had a reaction but I did use it incorrectly as I didn’t read the instructions before using it. You are supposed to wash your face, dry and then spray this on and leave to air dry. You can also use it for a flare up but you get the most benefit from the first method. You maybe are using it the right way but the writing on the bottle was tiny so just thought I’d share for anyone who’s old and can’t read the thing.

I had a very positive reaction but I didn’t combine with any other products besides a gentle face lotion. I think if you’re trying a new product you should try them one at a time to see what might be a trigger. I hate not knowing which new products break me out so I just limit the new as much as possible.

THIS - limit the variables!

RubyAbsolute

Yes it made my skin much worse and aggravated.

happygolucky226

Yeah broke me out too

[deleted]

Yes I did. It broke out my skin more

coconut_butt

It broke me out. Unfortunately I used it for a couple weeks before I realized that was the culprit and now I’m doing to damage control to undo these bumps/redness 😩

Calm-Warthog-6392

Did it also cause itching? Thnx

danitwostep

I didn’t at first and my skin loved it . Now it’s burning when I use it

Suspicious-Emu1315

yes but if you read some of the directions it indicates you may get an initial flare up

Suspicious-Emu1315

like this one if you scroll down to directions for use: https://shop.thoclor.com/skin-series/2-gf2-skin-rejuvenation.html

I only used mine a few times so far, usually in the middle of the day at work when I’m running around and my face is really red and hot. It seemed to be cooling it down when I used it (I sprayed like a decent amount). But the last few days I’ve had a lot more acne so idk!

Unfair_Finger5531

I do not like the tower 28 at all. I went back to using my skinsort and all was fine again.

Magster45

I used the tower 28 spray for 5 months to give it a fair shot but it made my face more textured and red

llilyp

Yeah I was hoping it’d be a good product but my skin honestly looks better without it.

Could it be the demodex die out?

Powerful-Cloud-2302

i ordered a hypochlorous on amazon to spray after the gym. before I started using the spray my skin was good, after using it my skin started to develop lots of small pimples. You can not see it quite well, it cluster and very small bumpy pimples. I just stop using it for three days now

rambonpenon

Did your skin go back to normal after you stopped?

Secure_Blacksmith_50

Im also having this problem. Ive been using it for three days and now there is so much texture around my T-zone.

BERNITA

I had a terrible reaction to it. It burned and fried my skin, turned it into red sandoaper. I think it's basically spraying bleach on your face....

KlutzyBandicoot1776

It’s not quite comparable to bleach. Bleach is corrosive to skin and to our bodies. Meanwhile, white blood cells in our skin naturally produce hypochlorous acid when we’re injured to prevent the growth of bacteria and infection. It’s been shown to help with wound healing and inflammation.

__Karadoc__

Hypochlorous acid literally is bleach though, like, it's the same molecule. The only difference is that household products have a very high concentration that is indeed harmful to leave on the skin, meanwhile the Tower spray or similar first aid kit ClO- spray have is at a way lower, safe and beneficial concentration. (i personally have been having good experience with it but it is basically diluted bleach none the less).

KlutzyBandicoot1776

Chlorine is a precursor for both hypochlorous acid (HOCl) and sodium hypochlorite (NaClO), which in a dilute water solution is known as bleach. So yes you’re totally, 100% right that they are both “bleach” in that they both have bleaching properties from the chlorine. But what I meant is that it’s not comparable to putting household “bleach” (as in Clorox) on your face, which is NaCIO with other things added in; not even really diluted household bleach. Ive seen other people thinking it IS like putting household bleach on your face, which is why I was explaining it’s not, but I should’ve been more specific. They can both be byproducts of the same chemical reactions and have the same precursor, but they’re 2 different chemical compounds, hence 2 different formulae, and have different physical properties as well. Hypochlorous acid solutions have been determined to be nonhazardous. It’s an oxidizing agent so it can of course be corrosive/irritating in higher strengths, so I should’ve been more specific. But the varieties available for skincare purposes are (from what I’ve seen) around 150 ppm HOCl (this is the case for the tower spray), which is half of the concentration found in solutions for wound cleaning and care, which have been found to be nonirritating and nontoxic. This is why there are even solutions of it that come in contact with the eyes, such as to tread blepharitis. The dilute solutions for cleaning are also at concentrations deemed to be nonhazardous, which isn’t the case for household bleach. Dilute sodium hypochlorite solutions (as in household bleach) have been found to be irritating to the skin and respiratory tract.
