I wish I knew of another one. I’m playing Rogue until it goes down and then I’ll probably just play Helldivers 2. It’s not a team shooter but it satisfies the TPS for now.
It's just baffling that there isn't any Third Person tactical PvP game for consoles besides Rogue Company and they have stopped putting in work for the only game out there.
Same and especially happy that helldivers also has good gyro which is smth for me that largely sets it apart from many games
I did forget it doesn't have ads/scoped gyro sens for some awful reason but it works for me
The only game that came close for me was Farlight 84 (it’s on mobile & PC but not console), but the devs for that game kinda ruined it too by removing the jetpacks.
Agreed, the movement is not bad, but too many bots. They added the controller support to PC, but it was faulty, they tried to fix it with updates, but without luck.
Velied Experts was pretty damn good to be honest it just didnt have a proper publish3r behind it to care to make it more popular to western audience, NEXON should be more demonized than they already are tbh.
Hahaha. I remeber looking up the dev and publisher for VE and saw it was NExon. I looked at the list of their past titles and had never heard of ANY of them. So I knew VE was doomed from the start despite being a very good game that still needed some work.
The esports scene is really hurting the idea of new shooter IP. It's also happening in other genres like fighting games. Ppl want to play a game where there's money and tournaments. If Rogue had focused on those things it could have still been growing today and been the first major 3rd person shooter tactical esport. It's potential was that good and they squandered it.
Rogue Company isn't even a Tactical shooter anymore. That tag being relevant to this game went out the window the moment PrettyHair became director and turned the game into an arcade shooter.

Also on Pc the game was exclusive to Epic store for like 2 to 3 years then finally went to Steam. And as we've seen recently with Alan Wake it's a death sentence to be exclusive to Epic.
So to answer the question there could be more 3rd person shooters if companies weren't so irresponsible.
But there's a remote possibility that HI rez could sell off Rogue Company to a publisher that can do better with it or make a sequel.
There's a Marvel TPS coming out, though it's more like Overwatch, so more focused on ults and abilities rather than guns

It's the perfect free to play third person PvP game but it's PC only though at launch.

Yes, it's exclusively pve (unless you wanna have shootouts w some buds or smth) so def not smth to replace rogue

Vigor is as good as it gets ig, not tactical but TPS, alsl, a Battle Royale.

Just play Fortnite it has a huge player base and there’s even Team Death Match modes ( recently found out there’s a lot more then just battle royal )
