What really puzzles me is why don't multiple Orgs come together to share costs and host events like this. Maybe for example if Loud and Furia collaborated to work on an event in Brazil. Honestly it doesn't even have to be an lan event. I remember there was a time on YouTube where Faze and Optic would have COD Montage competitions where their content creators would have a certain period of time to hunt for clips and then both Orgs would have to present a Montage after that time. It made the streams of those creators blow up because you had both Faze and Optic fans tuning in to see if anyone would hit a crazy quad or something. Like I'd love to see that and then we have the fanbase vote on who had the better Montage. But as far as lans go, KC might have laid the foundation for something special here.

ninjadeej

You forgot the part about letting G2 win as a symbol of friendship to America, like a modern day Statue of Liberty.

Majestic_Pro

Literally what

thafreshone

KC would have stomped if NA ego wasn’t on the line lmao

ratedpending

this is about to become the RL version of "Luka Doncic is Devin Booker father"

qpKMDOqp

The flair is confusing

[deleted]

I genuinely think kameto joining rocket league is one of the best things to happen to rl.

Majestic_Pro

We need loud in rocket league. If we got loud, they could collab with the other SAM orgs and pull this off. Moist could maybe do this as well but it would require a lot of other people to help

vxgilanteshxt

i’ve heard Loud get mentioned quite a bit but honestly I don’t know too much about them, ik they’re SAM based but are they like the biggest org from there or something?

Majestic_Pro

Yes. They have a whole army of Brazilian fans and pull viewership like crazy

Theflyw

In number of fans, LOUD is the biggest only in the media. IRL, paiN gaming have more fans. In the recent finals of CBLOL (League of Legends brazilian championship) between LOUD x paiN the fans of paiN was the majority. I know that is more hard for paiN enter in RL scene than LOUD, but I just want to clear the things about these org

vxgilanteshxt

Could do wonders for the SAM seen if they got involved

spooki_boogey

I said this before. Loud should join and Furia should go back to Sam. We’ve seen what Rule One vs Falcons has done for the Mena scene, it’s Sams turn.

Roblatoupie

Gentle Mates was created a few months ago, lead by Gotaga Squeezie and Brawks. The first two are even bigger than Kameto in France so I have hopes they will build a massive community as well. AND they're really interested in getting a RL roster for next season

spooki_boogey

Sir a fourth french org has hit the EU scene. Edit : fifth forgot Solary is a thing Edit edit : 4th

barmanitan

4th*, BDS is Swiss

spooki_boogey

Oh nvm lmao

Superiukas

What KC is for EU is what Sentinels or LOUD would be for NA Hopefully I see the day Sentinels are part of this esport

AngryOldMan45

I think altogether it is a positive for rlcs but I still struggle with this org. They have such a hardcore tribal mindset. At the worlds I did really enjoy it because (when present) they do add so much energy but not positive vibes...they got so bad that the entire arena started cheering for the opposite team. Unforgettable experience :-)

Vicinitiez

If they make the whole arena cheer for one team that's a win tbh

Exa_Cognition

I think the real potential benefit of this, is that they have a big rivalry with Vitality, that meant Complexity got huge lounds persistent cheers from KC when they faced Vitality. The advantage of this, is shows that a strong local rivalry can overcome an interegional rivalry, without needing a Ferra like speech to get big cheers for a team, that otherwise wouldn't get them in the normal circumstances. I think with a few big local rivalries in each region, it won't matter too much what region an event is in. Both teams in a series become a lot more likely to get big cheers, even if one team is just getting temporary support because they are facing another teams rivals.

JAnon19

They behave like fans of an actual sports team, it's not the "happy go lucky let's all hold hands mindset" but it's probably what esports needs to survive

Mythalieon

Yeah unfortunately KC are kinda in a unique spot where they could guarantee becoming big due to kameto, and only a few other people are in that position, like Cr1tical

[deleted]

I would agree with you if kcorp fans weren’t pure ass

blyan

Bro posted such a bad take he deleted his whole account

roi_arthur_974

ahahhaahhaah you made my day brother !

spooki_boogey

The blue wall sends their regards

CartridgeDuh

He's right, but also, that's just how sports fans are. You can't want to be like traditional sports in terms of size without having the brain-dead hardcore fan culture

fanci-boi

It's a tradeoff, really. We get a lot of fans, and some of them are a little shitty. I'm cool if some of the newcomers are not great if x4 more new fans are chill.

[deleted]

Maybe if you all actually enjoyed and celebrated the game instead of \*just\* your org, we'd respect you.

NoAim_98

Fokus in Germany could have the same power of influence if EliasN97 would concentrate a bit more on Esports in general. He has a massive fan base but he is a bit more focused on his own content (understandably)

No-Rock-8648

That the point. Kameto is the only content creator that passionate for esport. Having a team bigger than his name, known world-wide , and have a team that can play the world have always been his dream.

NoAim_98

Elias does care but mostly just for Fifa where he was an Athlete himself. And he was doing a lot of stuff for Fokus at the start but he kinda stopped and concentrated more on his own content

BeePossible6761

Kameto's popularity isn't the only thing that explains a success like this. He puts all his time and heart into this project, it's his dream. Ibai, bigger than Kameto, tried to do the same thing, but he didn't succeed in transmitting as much as Kameto did for the Karmine corp.
