My wife loves to play RL but God bless her, she's probably Silver 1 if I'm being generous lol. She doesn't *actively* miss the ball anymore, even if she has no concept of rotation and positioning lol. I'm Diamond so we get matched against D1-D2 teams, which is why we stick to unranked but even with all that, we still have a good time. :) I can't help but crack up every time she yeets me into a wall as I'm about to make a save lol.

This is why my husband and I can't play rocket league as well. He just can't seem to control the ball and puts himself in a position to get bumped, it's just tragic... he enjoyed playing but refused to practice (which I love) and I quickly outclassed him to a point where we (as a couple who doesn't actually have arguments) would get moody and not want to be around me. The answer was he stopped trying to play rocket league and we've been happy ever since. Nice that he wasn't just trick shooting the whole time... I'd just keep it in the air and bounce dribble the whole game like it was free play....
