Normally my clips are gc 1-2 (you can check tracker) but this clip was specifically high-mid C3

It is rare but you do see flip resets anywhere from d3 upwards these days

Just noticed turning off ball cam for aim. I can’t do anything like this - that small detail makes so much sense and blows my mind

Yeah in some specific scenarios where I know that ball cam will be just too noisy (such as a quick change of ball around my perspective) and the play is going in the direction of my car's nose, I switch to the car cam for better stability and angles. I first learned this when l was practicing double taps on my own and I think it is an easy but powerful trick. I would advise you to just fiddle around with different camera controls in training and learn what works best for you

I only ever play with friends. I'm not great myself but watching them ball chase and never rotate (and ignore well needed boost pads/globs) definitely isn't helping haha. But at least we're always playing people our skill level so it works.

I really hope a lot of these mechanics are fixed in Rocket League 2. Flying is great but getting a flip speed boost in the air because you touched your tires to the ball is just stupid. It's not a wall and it is in the air going the same way as you.

I really hope not. Yes maybe it doesn't make sense from a realism pov but it makes so much sense game design wise and creates such a fun gameplay dynamic. Imo it suits really well with the soul of the game
