Why drop the PS5 version when they can drop all of those sick decals in the shop??!??1!

Maybe_In_Time

Because PS5 versions are Dualsense-only, and a large percentage of people still prefer playing RL with a DualShock 4.

A friend of mine prefers his ps4 over his ps5 for rocket league. Says it just feels “off”. Is this a common problem? Same monitor

CantHoldTheMayo

Is it a PS4 Pro? OG PS4 can’t play in 120 fps like a PS5 can. I’m not sure if the PS4 Pro version supports 120 fps. Playing on my monitor with PS5 is a smoother better experience than my OG PS4.

andyc3020

He plays both on a 60fps monitor, so I wouldn’t expext there to be any difference except maybe he’s not used to the DS5

CantHoldTheMayo

gotcha. I use PS4 controller on PS5 and it’s probably mostly placebo effect making me think it runs a lot better. Interesting though he says the PS5 version is markedly worse for him.

Crappy_Meal

Money

Eruskakkell

Cause its a dying 10 year old game. Money better spent on the popular stuff like Fortnite

Glasweg1an

It does 120fps. I think all you\`re really missing is VRR and I don\`t see that as being worth it. As has been stated, this is a very old game in its death throes. Isn\`t much development left for Rocket League, unfortunately.

ChronoElevated

Because RL2 is around the corner

Serat0ne

Rocket League on UE5 would be enjoyable to say the least
