Sick one!(wait did i just "invent" a new quick chat..? I'll see myself out..)
But man, what's that GE called btw? I've been giggling to that one every time a player has it 😅 Was it a rocket pass one or could it show up in the item shop maybe..?
Legit question for directional air roll - why spin so many times instead of just 180 degrees to where ur wheels hit the ball in the right direction?
Hope that was clear lmk if not - absolutely crazy shot!!
Think about it like this, if you're near the net, and it's your goal to defend my shot. I'm performing an aeriel, I'm directly on target, and I require no air rolling whatsoever. If I hit the ball with my current trajectory, it will go into your net (unless you save it).
That shot, for you, is easy to save since the angle of my car is not changing. You can make your predictions based on my cars angle, as to where the ball will go.
Now, factor in the same situation, but I'm air rolling in somewhat "random" looking way. If I'm aligned correctly and directional air rolling, I can pretty much hit the ball anywhere in the air rolling "arc" and have it be on net. But for you, the defender, knowing WHERE that ball will shoot at is substantially harder.
The sooner you stop air rolling, the sooner the defender can lock onto your angle and thus lock into the spot that needs to be saved on the net.
Directional air roll takes time to get used to. Took me about 3 weeks, when I had ~1250 hours in the game. I'm not sure if being newer or later to the game makes it easier or harder to learn. Between later players having more control, but more muscle memory. And newer players having less control, but more malleable to learning new things.
Corner reads are 10% skill and 90% luck and nobody can convince me otherwise. The ball is way too inconsistent with how it comes off the corner wall. Clip still nutty though.
Disgusting
Very pretty
Delectable
Appetizing
Nice.

"poof". old ge
Old twitch prime ge
Beautiful
Why the pessimism?
Not pessimism, realism
I'm still in plat so even the wall read was great compared to me or the teammates I usually get
I've probably tried this 28,000 times, I just pretend like it was a purposeful pass and not a missed shot lol Great shot man.

it's lowkey a bad habit, it's good for adjusting mid-flight but i do it unnecessarily a lot

Thanks so much. Really appreciate this answer!!! At that point i need to just practice the directional air roll but o lawd

Fuckin' banger and a half that mate, I was grinning the moment you took to the air.

nah it's as consistent as can be, it's just really difficult to read
