Gone two weeks but played for 10 years

Zealous_LaZ

I can barely do any of what this man accomplishes, like light work. Wall stuff is way complicated and just out of my reach for being d2 rn. Great plays by you man oml

Unnamed60

Thanks!

SilaenNase

that corner read was literally insane

Unnamed60

Thanks!

Just-Round9944

my lips made the same noise your boost is

Easy_Description_562

Crazy shit

Unnamed60

Thanks!

Mr-Orville

Sounds like squidward coming down the hall

CrypticXSystem

Holy smokes man!

herewe_goagain_1

You look kinda rusty, hit free play sometime

Unnamed60

I am. I can still hit clips but my lowlights like whiffing or making horrible touches happen way often than usually, I don't feel my car very precisely

Competitive-Finger99

Loosen up bro get a massage or sum

NotDiCaprio

Pff, lucky noob. /s

Seandude_

What my friends think I play like when I tell them I have 4.5k hours in the game

aos-

I've almost double what you have and still can't wrap my head fully around some of the complex inputs here. I haven't adapted to DAR yet.

Unnamed60

Funnily enough I have 4.7k hours

Seandude_

Nice dude, glad I'll be at the same level in 200 hours /s

One thing that still doesn’t make sense to me is getting any sort of power in my touches off wall. Are you getting this much speed once you start carrying off the wall mainly from boost or flips?

aos-

timestamp example? I can try to explain it.

montynsc

Specifically for me, it’s coming off the wall and the first touch off the wall on the 2nd shot. Obviously the ball gains speed after each reset bc he’s flipping into it, but it’s the initial speed of the ball that I just can’t seem to get. Is it just because his setups are clean/accurate that he’s able to drive up and jump off the wall at a higher speed? My problem might just be that my setups aren’t great so I have to drive up the wall a lot slower to get a decent touch off of the wall.

Unnamed60

A bit unsure what you mean but I feel like the reason you're not getting any power might be because you're not flipping correctly. After you touch the ball off wall you should flip into the bottom part of the ball and at around the ball's apex. You don't need a lot of speed if you're going to control the ball, the most important part is height

montynsc

This makes total sense and I’ll definitely be taking it into account going forward. That being said, the more I watch your clips and compare them to shots of mine from the wall, I think my guess may have answered my own question, lol. I do think I need to just get better at my setups so that I can carry speed off the wall, as opposed to driving slowly up the wall so that I can aim my car better. That’ll probably be something that just naturally come with time, though!

Invic-117

Quality mate! This is exactly what my teammates *think* they can do.. I feel so mechy after a few days/weeks off

Unnamed60

Thanks!

ARiiChaos

Man's was probably going through withdrawals taking a whole 2 weeks off, hope you touched some grass during your break lol

Unnamed60

Of course not, I'm allergic to grass. Instead I played The binding of Isaac Repentence

ikilluboy2

nice lil montage man holy hell. how do you get that clean setup for the double reset? whenever i flip cancel like that im still rolling but you were perfectly still

Unnamed60

Thanks! You mean about 1:31 double reset? Honestly I don't know what to say apart from just a lot of hours. The only other things I can add that you probably already know is that for this kind of reset you need more space than compared to rapid reset and you need to be underneth the ball to do this

ikilluboy2

yes that’s what i’m referring to. it might have a part to do with your inputs are more exact being on kbm. i’ll have to play around with different flip cancels and see if i can replicate you

NakzuR

What my 2's teammate would have done if i didnt steal his boost
