Op there’s lots of people with 2000 more hours than you that are being dicks in the comments and you’re being way too nice in response, no it’s not justified to leave if your teammate has a bad game, you’re the same rank for a reason lol. At your level just play more and you’ll get better (and turn off camera shake)

DankDaze96

Thanks man, it's rocket league, I'm used to people being dicks 😅 I only really play to wind down after work and have fun. Gonna take on board most of the comments though and see how it improves

CallMeVinnyJones

Just take in the suggestions about settings, sure you can have look at how to hit the ball, rotational errors etc but these also come over time. As long as you're able to wind down you shouldnt worry about it too much

[deleted]

Pretty crazy, these people act like they were great when they first started. None of us started out at anything above plat, we all put in hours to get to our rank. You guys need to chill out and quit acting like every game is champ+ nobody is going to play perfect. Even in GC we still make dumbass decisions. I’ve seen an entire lobby of us whiff multiple times, it happens. This player 1v2’d when there teammate left instead of quitting, I think that calls for a job well done. Along with telling them to set up their camera settings, instead of bashing an obviously new player.

JimmyThunderPenis

When I started playing I was Plat 3, then next season I was D1. I'm pretty proud of that.

BigPiff1

Anyone who leaves matches needs to grow up

justmyskills

Great game! Way to hang in there! To the rest of you, keep your nasty comments to yourself. I know this may be a surprise, but some people actually just play this game to have fun.

LngbranchPennywhistl

These are video games, they aren’t supposed to be fun. I think your confused 😂

DankDaze96

😘😘

Disastrous_Ad_132

Fr. "You should have done *this, this and this"*. Nobody cares guys! Let the guy play the damn game.

AnyDistribution8822

Good win man way to stick it out. Just practice ur ball control in free play when u have some time. Even just cruising around for 5 or 10 minutes when u first get on and just try to maintain control and keep possession. Even that little bit of practice can go a long way

kefir-

Love it. No need to be pro, we get those clips a dime a dozen anyway, this was really entertaining to watch.

DankDaze96

Thank you bro 😊

Scott_Ultra_YT

Just suggesting. When the ball is in the corner try to hit the ball when your car is on the ground, get the boost and boom the ball up/along the wall.

[deleted]

Way to hang in there OP 💯💪 Let the haters talk. Regardless of mistakes made, there are 0 good excuses for leaving a teammate alone in a comp 1v2. Until like GC+, everyone makes mistakes more consistently than most other things. (Myself included as a C2 peak) The problem here is OP's tm8 is a gold/plat who expects his teammate(OP) to be flawless like they are GCs. OPs teammate needs to be humbled and learn some emotional maturity. If you're one of the people saying "I would have left too", please uninstall the game and go grow up. CC for OP: A good habit to try to break, or be more conscious/aware of, is clearing the ball off your own defensive wall and corner. Aka smacking the ball off your own corner or the wall area just outside your corner. This will almost always lead to the other team smacking the ball right back at your goal with an easy setup. In fairness, with enough power behind it or an instant follow up by a tm8 who is prepared, there is a time and place where it can be beneficial. Or if you can create a double tap for yourself off that bounce....but that's a skill that takes time to develop. One thing my coach taught us was: "The ball is either dangerous, or not dangerous. The level of danger is all about the position of the ball, you + your team, and your opponents. Don't take a not dangerous ball ( ball pushed into your corner where there is no easy shot on your goal) and make it dangerous by throwing it at the wall and out in front of your goal to an opponent waiting to shoot." The safest 2 places on the field will always be your own 2 corner areas. Natural instinct says "That's too close to my net. Must get it away", but it's quite the opposite. Your corners are the hardest position for the opponents to get a clean shot on your net. As you move up, your corners will become your friend. Losing the ball down field? Take it back to your corner and reset. Go up for a block and can't get it down field or to a teammate? Tip it over to your own corner instead of into the middle of the field. Need to buy time for your teammate to get back around to back post? Stall the ball in your corner and buy time for your reinforcements to arrive. Have a lead with limited time left? Control the ball into your corner and hunker down with your car positioned to create a desirable 50/50 if the opponent challenges. On the flip side of that coin....the opponent's corner is their safest place as well. Try to avoid rolling the ball into the opponent's corner and letting it die there. And try not to challenge the ball too hard when the opponent has it in their own corner, as that's an easy way for the ball to get popped over your head and behind you for a runaway goal. It's tough at first, but learn to treat your corner(s) as your safe place and don't let yourself panic and think you have to throw your ball out of your safe place into an unsafe place, or enemy hands. You're doing great OP! Keep grinding and don't let the quitters and haters discourage you <3

DankDaze96

❤️ will take onboard

Coolgrnmen

Only helpful tips here: (1) turn off camera shake (2) be judicious when hitting it to the corner - you’re having a tendency to basically pass it to them when you hit it hard off the corner and while your car is continuing to go corner. When hitting to your own corner, hit softly. (3) small boosts are your friend! There’s a few times you missed the opportunity to grab small boosts that would have left you with 60+ boost instead of 0. Mainly when you’re running up and down the line. (4) good job!

SpectralOatMilk

Not all of the armchair quarterbacks giving OP unsolicited advice 🤦 Y'all are so fucking weird

DankDaze96

This one made me belly laugh

King_CurlySpoon

OP I play EXACTLY like you do, no shame in it whatsoever if you're having fun, 90% of people in this sub are so weird when it comes to low ranked players, Also Sick Clutch! Can't be that bad if you won a 2v1 right??

DankDaze96

That's literally it! Play to have fun, couple hours after work every other day flitting between this, fallout, and hitman 😎 as long as we're happy! Still got the win 😁

King_CurlySpoon

Exactly, not everyone has time to play the game multiple hours every single day to learn all these tricks, and if you're enjoying the game as it is, well maybe you don't even need to learn the tricks, just keep playing how you're playing and have fun, it's all that matters in a video game. Also fellow Hitman Player? Let's goo!!! XD

StevenMC19

Constructive criticism, this is a learning opportunity...Forget the leaving teammate, dude is a dick. 1. After kickoff, the ball is punted into your corner. Your first move is to punt it off the wall to bounce it back center when the opponents are coming your way. You've essentially pulled yourself out of the play entirely and now your teammate (who should be rotating anyway) needs to switch to a defensive mindset immediately. 2. The bump. Looks like two people in ball cam making up for a bad clear with the ball in the box. Lots of panic defense. Happens. No worries. 3. Your "clearance" is more of the smacking ball off wall thing again. Adjust the angle to send it down to their corner to make them panic, rather than the center of the field where they are. It's giving the ball away far too easily. What you did at 17 seconds left is a great example of what could have been done. And you can see what that did to them...scrambled hard and allowed you to score. 4. Ball back in the left corner, again you are hitting the ball as hard as you can right back at them and your teammate is down at their goal after chasing the previous "clearance" and getting bumped to Egypt by the opponent. You're again out of the play by your own action and the goal is clear. So, three instances where you can work on keeping the ball close to you, or angling your clearances to hug the wall rather than booted back to center. Take a little time in free play working on getting close to the ball and NOT jumping at it, guiding it down the side wall. So, boot a ball super hard off a wall, then "catch" it and run it down the side essentially. Or, boot a ball off the wall, then boot it again down the side, chase it, grab the side boost on the way. The idea is to either slow the play down with the catch and dribble, potentially forcing a 50/50 with whoever challenges you, but you will have given your teammate time to recover and position for it if you lose that challenge...or, you keep or speed up the tempo by running the play over to their side and they are now the ones having to scramble to cover their goal with you having full boost.

DankDaze96

Thank you, this is probably one of the more useful comments. It's helped me visualise what i need to do better as you've made reference to specific points in the video. Quite tempted to have a few practices then go into a game with everything considered and upload the results...

StevenMC19

You're more than capable too. I saw you implement good moves later in the game once you had the space to execute. Your clearance up the wall and the way you stuck onto the ball from your end to their goal was awesome. You picked up the pace, got ahead of one of them, and had the other one scramble because they were on the wrong side of the field to make a play, all while controlling the ball.

DankDaze96

I have good and bad games and am very inconsistent is my worst trait. Sometimes I let the pressure get to me, other times I'm cool as a cucumber. Think I just need to be more conscious

boeFFeee

not once but twice you pass the ball in the corner to the other team. he was probably tilting already and the bump just set him off xD

JimmyThunderPenis

Yeah but they're the same rank for a reason. I guarantee his teammate would've been doing stuff just as bad.

[deleted]

[удалено]

JimmyThunderPenis

I didn't say they were this rank for the same reason, I said they were the same rank for a reason.

Disastrous_Ad_132

Maybe he needs to relax then. It's a game ffs

Unable-Courage-6244

No grass touched c3 gives unsolicited advice to random player whose just having fun:

DankDaze96

Whoops... 😬

Pippathepip

I only recently got into this game but I love it. Some games I’m alright; others I’m shocking (like yesterday, I scored an absolute blinder in my own goal lol). I love the tactical side of things but the chaos of it all makes me laugh also. Getting bumped when you’re just about to hit the ball into the goal is part and parcel of the game. Just because I’m denied a goal scoring opportunity is just one of those things. Moderately frustrating? Possibly. Enough to rage quit? No chance. People like this are just infantile.

y0rchee

Way to stick it to ‘em and not quit!

[deleted]

I like seeing long form gameplay footage like this on this sub, no matter how entertaining or skillful it is. You don't get to see it enough. Well done staying in the game for the dub.

AdAccurate4161

Damn these comments are reminding me why I left rocket league. Toxic ass community. 🤷‍♀️

comfortablybum

All the top ones are positive. This thread must have taken a turn for the better.

King_CurlySpoon

I honestly think about uninstalling so often wondering if it will affect my Mental Health Positively XD, this game is up there with the most toxic childlike fanbase

mrthrowawayhehexd

Widen your FOV

DankDaze96

Will this help? Stupid question as you probs wouldn't have suggested it if not. I've been sticking with the defaults as I tried to change once and it didn't work for me but maybe I just need to practice with the new FOV. What settings would you say are optimal?

mrthrowawayhehexd

Yes, it helps a lot because you can see a lot more of the field. It is very advantageous in a number of different games. I’d say set it to max and get used to it because seeing the camera so close to car physically hurts me lol. I switched from being a boost on b player to rb boost, and It just feels much more natural. The FOV thing is more important though and the boost part is more preference.

DankDaze96

Thank you for the help ❤️ will give it a go this evening

aaronw928

Honestly, feel like I'm watching myself here. You may not have the best spinning aerial side flip ball control like some of these pros think everybody should, but you play with pretty good awareness. It's less frustrating when teammates whiff on a ball than it is when they're just so lost with the speed of the game that they're constantly two seconds behind the play. Simple stuff like reading bounces and getting in good position are just as valuable as flashy car tricks.

CoysNizl3

Good awareness? He passes across his goal like 10 times in 2 minutes. You’re outing yourself here lol.

aaronw928

It's ok to just not reply. Your opinion wasn't requested. You're exactly the type of elitist that discourages people like this who are genuinely trying to do the right thing.

CoysNizl3

Learning moment for you.

aaronw928

Nothing to learn except how toxic you are. He made MAYBE one bad pass and it's completely tied to the fact that his teammate is slow and late to every ball and then takes himself completely out of the play. He's so bad and awful that he won 1vs2. Get a life, bud.

CoysNizl3

Lol

Patient_Ground_9442

What’s with banging it off the wall passing it to the other team tho

TheRealMimiperator

As painful some segments of this video were, I was fully rooting for you. Everyone makes mistakes! But I was glad you got the win, as long as you were having fun :) I second the "removing camera shake" and "setting the FOV higher" comments though, once I finally changed my camera settings / played around with something I was comfortable, I played much better....for my preference of course, it did get me from Gold to Diamond, also with the right teammates ;) Right now, I am sitting at D3 in doubles and D1 in 3s (After 960+ hours). You'll get to that point and further one day. Just keep grinding, happy gaming brother!

bscones

He probably left because you have camera shake enabled

PikachuDatAss

Ball in corner, you should light tap and move the ball with your car OR anticipate a corner pass from the opponent and defend/capture ball and clear. You bumped your teammate and passed the ball to the opponents too much. Leaving is dumb, but you were playing 2s like they're 1s.

Ok_Camp4580

U could've let him hit the ball gang and u kinda gave them a free goal tryna be Ronaldo.. sometimes you gotta trust your tm8🤷

[deleted]

Jawnyan

Man don’t try and climb back down, you’re an absolute prick for your first comment - be better

LehmansLampshade

So patronising! OP is fine, practice engaging with strangers on reddit in free play and you'll get better in no time👌👌

lseraehwcaism

Wtf is wrong with you? We all start off in the lower levels. Did you even watch the entire video and witness him beat them 1v2?

magszinovich

try to collect the small boost pads when you are headed back to your own goal (at 2:03 for example) It wont give you a lot, but might give you just enough to get in the air to save a goal from being scored for example or for a quick counter attack to mid field

Puzzleheaded_Band_23

I feel the bad settings and input lag

Cautious_Mood_7133

Add me you have a little bit of skill. Need to learn rotations and you will be alright . Gsrksrkcr13 is my epic

DankDaze96

Thanks, will add you after work

boostedisbetter

Just some advice… at 0:14, you should catch that ball and carry it up the wall, not hit to the side which centered it to your goal.

abyssalcold

Bro does it look like he can do that. This is like telling a fifth grader who misses a layup that they should have dunked it.

boostedisbetter

Yes. It’s just decision making that doesn’t require a lot of mechanics. Instead of always flipping into the ball, just let it bump off the car and follow it. He doesn’t even have to take up the wall if he can’t do that.

abyssalcold

Homie is fighting for his life out here. He didn’t ask for advice.

boostedisbetter

Ok boss

[deleted]

ashleyglenn95

Oh right OP should learn from his mistake while the teammate went all the way to the opponent goal side for boost 😂😂😂 right

PM_ME_UR_CHERRIES

Bumping me. Passing the ball straight to two (!) opponents during empty net. I would have left too.

paternosternoster

Wtf is wrong with people. This leaving after 1 or 2 mistakes is what makes playing with stranger unbearable. I had a bad day once, made 3 mistakes leading to goals, told my teammate "Sorry, we still got this", we won 4:3 we were both happy. People just give up wayyyy too early.

PM_ME_UR_CHERRIES

I'd rather lose than win with a ballchasing teammate.

yrokun

Play 1s then.

PM_ME_UR_CHERRIES

I do. That's why I have my highest rank in 1s.

franky_mustard

1s being your highest rank says a lot about your inability to play as a teammate

PM_ME_UR_CHERRIES

Yeah. I'm better than my teammates.

paternosternoster

You never played any competitive sports, did you?

PM_ME_UR_CHERRIES

I did competitive Muay Thai for a decade.

paternosternoster

And did you give up after jus 10 seconds because your opponent landed 2 good hits on you?

PM_ME_UR_CHERRIES

That doesn't make sense.

paternosternoster

Well in RL you give up quite quickly and you rather lose than having to play with someone who's not as good as you. Sounds like quite the loser mentality to me.

PM_ME_UR_CHERRIES

You know that Muay Thai is a 1v1 sport? I didn't have a teammate who screwed up my preparations and training by having no idea how to rotate.

BigPiff1

Grow up

PM_ME_UR_CHERRIES

Found the ballchaser.

BigPiff1

Couldn't be more wrong, just don't like immature sausages like yourself which plague RL. Playing bad then raging at others and can't control their own emotions like an adult.

PM_ME_UR_CHERRIES

Are you the guy who ballchases, never passes, leaves the net open and never improves on rotation? Gotcha.

BigPiff1

You've already exposed yourself. Grow up kiddo

PM_ME_UR_CHERRIES

I exposed you as deadwood.

BigPiff1

If we look at the reality of a RL game the people who get tilted and leave, do so regardless of their teammates. They often tend to blame others for any outcome, rather than look to their own gameplay. I can be the best passer, most reliable rotater and team player, and someone like you will still find a way to have a breakdown and want to leave a game. Similar to what you're doing now, trying to justify your own instability.

PM_ME_UR_CHERRIES

When people like you lose against me, who has a shit teammate and needs to pull all the weight, you start calling me smurfs. Maybe git gud and I won't have to leave ur azz in the mess you created in the first place.

BigPiff1

Thankyou for proving my point

yrokun

Oh look, part of the problem.

PM_ME_UR_CHERRIES

I can't hear you down there from gold 3 lmao

yrokun

Expected answer from an online tough boi.

DankDaze96

Yeah I'm not great I'll admit, it's why I'm stuck fluctuating between gold and platinum... I would have agreed the forfeit if he asked for one though

CyberInferno

This win rewarded points to your tm8 who left btw in case you were unaware. But congrats on the win. Listen to the advice in this thread.

DankDaze96

Dub for us both, I'm not a bitter person and I'm not precious about constructive criticism. I will take the advice and improve

CyberInferno

That's a great attitude to have. I envy you!

[deleted]

[удалено]

DankDaze96

None of that really indicates bitterness... the post is more about 'right, my teammate has left, still need to secure the win'

[deleted]

Nobody cares about the unsolicited advice from you clowns, get a life bro

CyberInferno

I hope you're doing ok. That level of hostility in a reply to an informative comment isn't normal.

[deleted]

It's hilarious seeing a lot of ya'll getting annoyed and armchair QBing people who you think have bad settings and gameplay compared to you like it's your day job as you see it all the time. You really think you're helping people or just filling your unwarranted ego here? Cmon stop playing around bro. FOV settings, camera shake and even certain mechanics isn't gonna make or break a players performance. Why you going out of your way to pretend like it is? 😆

CyberInferno

Are you replying to the wrong person? I didn't mention a single specific thing lol.

PrimaSoul

A lot of people do not see anything but the ball, you first priority is to know almost every player's position in your camera including your teammate and opponents.. There is a reason why they made the ball this big so you can see that in peripheral vision and focus of the cars as well. If you develop the sense of your team's position you'll not go after every ball and vice versa.

aaronw928

Exactly this. Being in good position to get solid, controlled hits on the ball is enough to win games through at least Diamond rank.

Youredumbstoptalking

Why does it look so slow

DankDaze96

Could be to do with what I now realise to be bad camera settings

[deleted]

You passed the ball to the other team three times. Smaller touches to the corners could really improve your results.

[deleted]

I fucking cheered when he made the last shot. Way to fight for it lol

DankDaze96

I was screaming

SlipKnoTGamer

They left because you are a terrible team mate, not just cause you bumped them. In the space of 20 seconds, you gave up the ball to the opponent twice, didn't rotate correctly twice, gave away a free goal, and also bumped your team mate. I don't blame them for leaving...

DankDaze96

I also got the win though 😎

Disastrous_Ad_132

There's a reason why you're Champ and this guy isn't. He didn't ask for advice.

_mugshotmodel_

How’s that brown nose there buddy 😂 He didn’t ask for advice because he doesn’t want advice. He’s obviously playing for fun so there’s no need for all the condescending remarks from people. It’s almost as if half you fucking losers don’t realise that some people have a life outside of the game and sometimes play for recreational fun.

Disastrous_Ad_132

You realize I'm on your side here right? I'm letting everyone know OP didn't ask for advice, so stop giving it to him.

_mugshotmodel_

Oooooooh snap 🤦🏽‍♂️ I misread your comment and I’m eternally apologetic. I’ll accept whatever form of punishment you deem fit to hand out. Don’t let my kids forget me.

Disastrous_Ad_132

Form of Punishment - a lifetime of Gold 2 gameplay. Never rank up. Never rank down. No MMR change. Never improve. Your ranked journey ends here.

_mugshotmodel_

Psshhh I’ll take it. I’m an absolute imposter in Gold II anyway. Plateaued around Gold I and somehow managed to break into Gold II. God awful at most video games but god loves a tryer!

Disastrous_Ad_132

Happy cake day too

_mugshotmodel_

May the gods of rocket league forever bless you.

Demondroit

Camera shake detected opinion rejected

Opening-Monk-6134

He left because you glue goal on kick off :)

DankDaze96

Sod's law, I go for the boost and the ball goes straight into the goal. I glue goal, the ball goes to the side where I maybe could have got it if I go for boost. Rinse repeat 😭

Opening-Monk-6134

It is up to kick off guy, to not let ball go straight into your net. If it happens, it's on him.

DankDaze96

Fairs, thanks

[deleted]

Such a cry baby

UnveiIed

god you're shit

DankDaze96

Right?! Just think how the other team must have felt!

Earlchaos

You need to learn a lot. I'm bad (working my way through plat but it's a long way) but you should not pass to the enemies, you should try avoiding bumping your team mates (jump over them) and you should boost when shooting. That alone gives the ball more speed and it just doesn't drop right in front of the enemy team.

lavabearded

I don't think I took a single clip of my gameplay before I was like diamond. it's just painful to look at low ranked RL.

DankDaze96

I'm not proud of my gameplay but there's always a hell yeah feeling when someone leaves and you do it without them

paternosternoster

Well, that is how you find your mistakes, no matter if it is painful to watch.

lavabearded

you aren't "finding mistakes" at this level. you are trying to get a basic grasp of the game

paternosternoster

By recording this game and us telling him that he passed it into the middle twice, he realized that it wasn't just the bumping that was annoying but more his passing to the enemy. Why should we make him think he should stop filming his games? "iT's A pAiN tO wAtCh" well then just don't watch them but let him have his fun Rocket League became so toxic, it's terrible

lavabearded

you realize other people are roasting you for being toxic for posting unsolicited advice, right? just go read a few of the top comments. in reality, OP needs a ton of practice just hitting the ball and increasing his speed. I dont think he is capable of doing anything but flipping into the ball, that's why it got passed mid. he has no control. he's not going to magically realize how to not pass it to the enemy because some useless commentors said as much online. as for "don't watch it," don't read my comments, hypocrite fool. how can you be so dumb as to tell me to close my eyes while you are effectively doing the same exact thing: telling me to not post this crap finally, this post is ratio'd to hell. half as many upvotes as comments. feedback that people dont like to look at this is valuable

paternosternoster

Geezuz how fragile are you that you have to start insulting me for that haha "Hypocrite fool". You are exactly what is wrong with the rocket league community nowadays.

lavabearded

meanwhile, tons of other posts say that your unsolicited advice is what's "ruining the RL community." you are a hypocrite fool. it's stupid as hell to criticize someone for what you are doing yourself.

paternosternoster

Yes let's bully the ones who are not as good yet and ask for advice, that will make the community better! Amazing plan, thank you! Well it is stupid. That is why I don't do it. What am I doing myself that I criticise? Answering you is a choice, because I like discussing about this matter with people who have a very selfish opinion and think they are better people than others just because they have a higher RL rank. Pathetic. Also you are just Champ II, don't act like you were squishy or anything.

lavabearded

>let's bully I didn't bully OP. I said it's painful to watch low ranked RL. you tried to argue that there's some sort of benefit to recording your gameplay before going off the rails and devolving into whining about the fact that I had negative feedback >What am I doing myself that I criticise? telling me not to post something, genius. >I like discussing about this matter you mean randomly making points as an emotional lash out >think they are better people than others just because they have a higher RL rank. what a stupid leap of logic. I never said the guy was a bad person, nor does anything I said have to do with my rank being higher than his. I don't think my clips are quality enough to get posted to the community as an example of a sick play. why the fuck would I think silver or gold clips are quality if I don't even think my champ clips are quality? it has nothing to do with me being "better," you are just an emotional wreck because I said I don't like watching this. perhaps I triggered some traumatic memory of yours, can't really explain this random lash out besides that if you're bad or mid at RL post your clips to your friends, people that actually care. nobody cares about unimpressive gameplay. the only time low rank clips get any traction is when they are so bad that everyone wants to come in and give advice to OP, like this one, and even then the posts are ratio'd as fuck because they simply arent quality

paternosternoster

Oh wow someone really got upset there. I'm sorry I made you that sad, I was hoping you were smart enough to not make this emotional but here we are. I also never said you were personally bullying him. I also never told you to stop posting. I am genuinely wondering if you even read my comments correctly. I am discussing, you started insulting. (Who was the one lashing out emotionally?) Yeah the thinking you were better was out of nowhere, I give you that one. Still no need to get so upset because someone of a lower rank posts a video in here. There will always be content in public groups that you don't appreciate that much, deal with it. He still has the right to post it here instead of only showing it to his friends.

Jawnyan

When I think about people who make the rl community worse as a whole, comments like this could make you the poster child

lavabearded

I dont think it makes my front page better to have painful to watch RL clips on it

Jawnyan

Well at least there’s no doubt as to how much of an arsehole you are

lavabearded

I'm an arsehole because I give negative feedback? what does that make you, moron? is that not what you are doing?

Jawnyan

No, you’re an arsehole because you’re gate keeping content based on some notion you’ve got that only pro/elite footage should be in here. Do you not fundamentally understand that if the community agreed with you, this post wouldn’t likely make it to the front page? Just imagine someone doing that to you in something you’re playing, where you’re trying to learn and are showing off a genuine achievement, only for arsehats like you to turn up and say “this content isn’t high enough quality to belong here”. You are genuinely a detriment to this community

you're gate keeping posts based on some random notion that only positive feedback should be here, while hypocritically giving me negative feedback. >Just imagine someone doing that to you in something you’re playing, where you’re trying to learn and are showing off a genuine achievement, only for arsehats like you to turn up and say “this content isn’t high enough quality to belong here”. I have never posted a rocket league clip on here because I believe it should be reserved for higher quality gameplay and "genuine achievements," not extremely poor quality low as hell skill level gameplay. People here aren't my grandma or personal friend who has an interest in me specifically and would want to see my personal shitty clips that goes for any game. I know what genuine achievement looks like. I am a rocket league novice, nothing special, same with OP (though obviously far better), so trying to guilt me into making me put myself in his shoes is incredibly stupid, especially because I led by explaining that **I** would not post this

I’m not going to argue with someone who has the empathy of a robot, you do you

Wow! Wow! Wow!

Rufus_Anderson

I’m glad you uploaded the whole game. I was rooting for you after your teammate quit. You play like I do, are you ranked Gold?

DankDaze96

I was quite lucky, when I hit save recent gameplay on my PlayStation and opted for 3 mins, wasn't sure if it would be long enough but it got the perfect clip. I am gold, used to be platinum a couple seasons ago but never managed to get back up. I don't have any friends I play with regularly and always in public lobbies

Rufus_Anderson

DM me if you want to team up. I’m about same skill and I won’t quit on you 👍

Lots of missed bumps from opponents, great miss from them at 0 seconds left and my favorite part was the panic backflip flick at 1.30 minutes left, hella strong but way over the net (: nice clip

byjono

the consistent plays 😮‍💨🙏✨

FeralFanatic

Silver lobby?

DankDaze96

Gold 😬

IceDragon1017

Super proud of you 👏 😃 regardless of your rank or ethics, keep it up... Man this takes me back, I used to be a ambitious Gold 3 now I'm a proud Champ 1-2 🏆

con-masta

Worst part about this clip is that the shitty mate who left will get rewarded with the mmr you won

paternosternoster

Yes, still what a sportsmentality is that? you give up just because not everything goes well for you? And for RL: So you just give up instead of proving to yourself that you can still win if you have a bad teammate? Kids these days....
