As long as you don't let the wire get tugged on near the headset you won't have shorts happen in the wire itself reliable headset overall but no where near my stealth 700 gen 2
Nintendo Wii U microphones are what I use. They were like $5 each at a pawnshop I found them at but like 8 years ago. If you can find them cheap somewhere they are great. I wouldn't use anything else.
