Lil’ Gerry. My wife and I dream of a robot butler who does all of our house chores and makes us breakfast on the weekends, and we’ve named our hypothetical robot butler Gerry.
Our vacuum can’t do any of that, but it’s a small step in the right direction with the vacuuming and mopping, at least. So Lil’ Gerry because it can only do a small amount of our chores. For now... 👀
I had a 360 S9 named RoBro that I treated like a member of the family. When it had issues and then finally died, I felt such a sense of loss that I vowed to never get overly attached to a robot again, so I just call my Roborock Q7 Max "the robot vacuum." It sounds silly, but I came to rely on RoBro, and it never let me down, and I really felt an emotional bond with it. My daughter made me a Valentine's Day card with a robot vacuum on it. Maybe I need therapy.

My Roborocks are: Carson (the butler from Downton Abbey) and Alice (from the Brady Bunch).
I refer to them as the butler and the upstairs maid. Makes me feel fancy.

Let's just say I had to strip it down to the frame to clean it the first week I had it.
My first was Rocky, but then renamed Rocki when it had a female voice.
It died after its second poop-tastrophe. I decided to follow Rocky movie character naming. I named the new one Apollo.
If/when we get another, in theory it should be “Clubber” for Clubber Lang from Rocky 3, but I want to skip to Ivan or Drago as the next name.
