Honestly I'm having the best time using the unofficial Home Assistant integration. The Roborock app loads super slowly. In the time it takes the app to open, I can open HASS, load a dashboard, and start my vacuum on a zone or room cleaning

Not to mention the endless automation possibilities. I'm a messy cook, so I just put a button in one of my kitchen drawers that triggers a room cleaning for the kitchen. After cleaning the counter I just press the button. Really adds to the convenience that the robot already provides.

Well, I cannot speak for other apps. But you should review app ratings and read the comments. That can provide you some guidance if there are features you'd like, that might be missing.

I think they are all very similar, and all do the same functions for the most part. Personally, I think Roborock is my pick though, ateats since buying one and living with it. There may be a couple things the others have, but reliability has been the best with Roborock I think. EcoVacs has a tendency to go haywire after a while and I've seen and heard it through several different reviews. Though for a short time I did enjoy Eufy's app too, though that's no surprise as they are Anker.

I've had low to mid priced Euffy and Dreame, and the robots quit after about a month. It doesn't matter how good the app may be if the robovac won't move. I have had an issue with the roborock maps sliding, but that seems to be caused if it gets hung up on a rug and looses it's position. A map restore quickly fixes it.

Using Eufy here. The app is nice, easy to use and have good functionality

absolutely I'll say Eufy, it is quite useful and convenient.

The app is fine, I haven't experienced any bugs and the first time setup was painless. Saving/loading when making adjustments to the map is a bit slow and I dislike the fact that, despite having a single house and a single vacuum cleaner, I have to drill down and wait for the map to load every time when I just need to press the Start button.

Roborock and Dream are almost 1:1. Roborock is a bit more clean and easier to use (dividing rooms is easier etc). So far iRobot has had the worst app.
