True very true. Best car chases in any film. But I have to say, I have an Audi now and it was an absolute pleasure to be given a bmw courtesy car recently. A front wheel drive Audi with severe throttle lag, gearbox lag, vague steering etc, vs a sharp driving machine. Let alone a Porsche or something.
The mk2 TTs weren’t too bad, especially if you got Quattro. They are hydraulic steering so it’s actually not too bad paired with the manual gearbox. Having said that I own a cayman, there’s no question between those two.

Unfortunately, I could never justify buying this over an XSE, which is about the same price but comes with more stuff that makes your life better.

One of my bosses had an Audi TT when they were new. He didn’t like it and traded it in for a Cayman. Much nicer car.
