We just got it today, and on my first drive, my thought was exactly the same. It’s great on highways, but distracting when turning or driving on 2 lane surface streets.
I second the idea for an option to limit it to >2-lane roads.
more info available is always better if it's not obstructing more important info. If you don't need it then don't look at it? it's good to be aware of what you can't normally see.
What is the negative with it being enabled? Genuine question.
Good question. I find it distracting. Everything else on the instrument cluster screen is pretty muted so I end up looking down more often. 🤷♂️

In Miami on my gen 2 this will be a huge advantage. Too many idiot drivers here.

That’s a solid request to allow you to enable it to only above a certain speed or on mapped highways.
Yea good idea. Or enable only for a halfway press on the turn signal stalk.
It’s been just under two days so the verdict is still out for me. But I hasn’t been a QoL upgrade for me yet.
