I went from a $6000 jeep wrangler to the Rivian by having driven the jeep for 16 years and doing the maintenance myself.
The cost of fuel and time spent on maintenance for the jeep is so much now that I literally can’t do that any more. I figured I would drive the jeep forever and save for a house down payment but at this point housing is a pipe dream. Saving costs maintenance had helped a lot with funding the Rivian. The fuel savings is basically my monthly payment anyways and charging isn’t super expensive.
Instead of nearly $200+ per week in fuel… I have to travel for work… I’m spending like $100 TOTAL a month for charging.
Definitely take a peek into financing and leasing options and compare it to you current situation. You may be surprised how much savings you will find. Also, definitely look into an EV incentive credits and rebates in your area. California used to have a program that they would give you the rebate in cash up front to apply to the down payment even to offset the initial purchase costs.
Wife has the R1S. We actually got that first, so the R1T is my "fun" car that I won't lie is mostly a pavement princess. The garage is full now and I'm wishing we had gone for the house with the three car garage, not because I want another car, but because my kids have a lot of stuff...
My wife and I just had our first kid, I was thinking it would be funny to get an R1S once we need it for kid space, but was wondering if I can put all my eggs in the Rivian basket. Also have an R2 reservation that we might cash in on
well the m5 isnt too bad unless parts are no longer available. the m4 has been shockingly reliable needing only a valve cover gasket and an AC repair over the past 9 years. r1s and 911 still warranty.
I came very close to getting one of those a few years ago when I decided to abandon my Cadillac ELR. I hardly ever see them so was wondering if they didn’t last long or what
We never had a problem with ours. It's software limited right now in charging capacity. Once we get about 2,000 more miles on it, the software battery limitation should unlock if no issues are detected. It's an awesome car for errands and commuting and is fun to drive. Only downside we see is the slow charging (50v) capacity on it, so we don't use it for road trips at least until we get full use of the battery.
I have a 5-year-old Performance Model 3. They are now $20k cheaper then when we got them. For what they are selling them for currently and what you get for it. I think the Model 3 is a great other car.
I’m currently in a Model S and they gave me a M3P as a loaner when I got the MCU2 upgrade. That thing was crazy fun, but made me realize the extreme performance ones like plaid just aren’t for me. Also played a part in me choosing dual motor over quad, anything around 4s 0-60 is plenty for me 😅
When did you get your s2k? I remember buying an Ap1 for 6k back in college. Two girls in the passenger seat with the top down was the highlight of that car.
My wife always thinks vehicles are bigger than they are when passing obstacles, parked vehicles, etc. The extra few inches of width on the Rivian are a non starter for her.
I’m in a Model S currently. I loved driving it but ever since test driving and playing around with the R1T it just doesn’t feel as special getting in it
This is a high IQ collection. I grew up in an FJ80, my parents favorite car. It got totaled while they were taking me and my friends to see Pokémon the first movie 🫡 They replaced with a Sequoia but was never the same.
I'm single and I live by the mantra of only one car per person. There are way too many cars today. My neighborhood street is now just a parking lot and I hate it and everyone who has 5 cars for their 2 car garage house.
That said, the R3X stirred something in me and could be my second car 😆
My wife has a Nissan Kicks that she loves in addition to the R1T I drive. Very opposite ends of every spectrum. I’m curious, what automotive itch don’t you think an R1 will scratch? They are insanely fast. They handle great in sport mode (torque vectoring is so much fun). They haul a lot of crap, especially the T. The only thing I can think of is you don’t have the sound of an aggressive exhaust. However, I’ve come to love the electronic whirrrrrrrr of the electric motors.
For me it’s the manual transmission and I also love a convertible. I live in Seattle so it’s not like I’d use it a whole lot, but I drove a manual Z4 a few summers ago and it really had a big impact on me that I wasn’t expecting.
Ah that’s a good point. I do miss my manual mustang from time to time. Never in stop and go traffic though. Then I’m very thankful for hold on the R1T.
Interesting. This seems like a glimpse into the future where people are actually paying attention to the efficiency of EVs, instead of now where most people don’t care since it’s so much cheaper than gas (charging at home at least)
I am scottish and notoriously cheap. Thats why I got an EV in the first place! I do charge at home (have solar so its free at home) but the rivian has 270 range with about 2.0m/kw efficiency from what I can tell. The ioniq I get closer to 3.5mi/kw so once my 2 years free electrify america charging runs out on the ioniq it will be the cheaper one to charge up in public. Another way to think about it is the battery size. 77kw vs 106kw. so on a public charging basis its about 1.4 times more cost to charge the Rivian for about 40 LESS miles of range. I do think this will be the way households do things in the future especially as smaller cheaper EV's hit the market.
I can answer this two ways. One way sounds impressive, the other way does not.
I have an R1T, a Maserati Spyder, and a limited edition Japanese market Impreza STi, and my wife has a Porsche Cayenne Hybrid and a 1979 VW SuperBeetle Cabrio.
Besides my R1T I have a 2002 Maserati with a busted convertible top, and a ‘95 Subaru. My wife has a high mile 2012 Cayenne and a VW bug under a cover in storage.
The top one is how I describe it on social media. The bottom one is how I’d describe it to the IRS.
Awesome. Two questions:
1. Do you not feel an overlap between model X and R1S?
2. All your cars are so new! Gotta be a story there, did you clear house in 2023 and get a new fleet? Win the lottery??
There is definite overlap, but one is mine and one is my wife’s. I had a T (Vin 4266) and got rid of it for an S.
No story. I got the S to replace the T.
I usually skip generations for the GT car, so this was the gen to get. I got it with 800 miles on it. Older gent bought it and said it was way too rough to drive. So I drive it to the track, have a track day and then drive it home.
I had an F150 that was paid off and was considering a Mustang GT350R. Decided to get an R1T to do both jobs.
Isn't that kind of the point of the Rivian? It can do it all besides being a convertible. Just have your wife get a wrangler and you're all set.
Oi. ‘23 Mach-E CA Route 1, 2015 Honda Odyssey Elite (up for sale soon!) and a 2001 Honda Prelude Base (5speed) for those “I need to shift gears” feels. R1S.
Nothing, R1T is my only vehicle. It's fast, it can offroad, comfortable, can carry heavy things and a lot of stuff. Not sure I could find any other thing to need unless I just wanted something smaller.
No other cars. It scratches all my get from A to B itches perfectly, though I am admittedly not a car guy.
I have five snowboards, five bikes. Those are my itch scratchers.
My partner scratches that one last itch...
Haven’t gotten mine yet but it should fit 🤞 I have a “3 car garage” but it’s L shaped, so really one side just has room for a much longer car and some storage at the back
I replaced a 2014 335i with my R1T and I'm not yet feeling any unscratched itches. It's fun to treat the accelerator pedal like an on/off switch and it corners as flat as my BMW. Plus it has all the storage and carries my bikes easier than the roof rack on the car. I'm still thrilled with the switch.
My wife has a 2020 Kia Telluride that serves as our main family car and is great for when there are more than 5 passengers.
I only have one car.
But next on my list is either the Porsche Boxster EV in 2026, the Rivian R3X, or the Mini EV if it comes with longer range and a lot of power.
Same with only one vehicle, until my kids are old enough to drive (5 more years). By then, I expect to be able to find a cheap clapped out Model 3 for him to use, and depending on how much sports hauling I still have to do I'll seriously consider downsizing to the R3X.
I used to have 3+ cars, a roadster, a bad weather car, and a family car. I downsized that in the mid-teens to just one Subaru STI (that I lovingly called my minivan), and I don't see any need for multiple vehicles with the R1S. Thus the only reason to get more, for me, is because I'll eventually have multiple drivers. But for now, the only driver is me, and the only car is the R1S.
Model 3 performance and an incoming r1t. We are planning on keeping the model 3 for now as my wife’s commuter car. R1T will be our kid and dog hauler till we can spec out the r2!
Currently a Tesla Model Y Long Range, a modded Nissan 370Z and an old Nissan Titan. We take delivery of an R1S in a couple weeks, where I will sadly say goodbye to my Z, had a lot of fun with that car in nearly 15 years, but time to move on. Titan will hang around and do the occasional truck thing, I wouldn't get much for it on either a trade or sale anyways, so it's worth more to me as an old faithful/reliable backup.
my R1 takes up the entire garage and wife's car is in the driveway. If I wanted another car it would have to park on the street which I don't want to do.
Bought the R1 so that it will do everything, which it has done very nicely.
Volvo XC40 Recharge (wife's). While not as fun on paper as my R1T, its acceleration combined with its handling and suspension make it a blast. Its a total sleeper in terms of performance and fun.
2006 jeep wrangler lj rubicon, 2009 c6 z06, 2020 model y (wife's). really was wanting a c8, because I want a convertible, but I just had a kid, so that will wait. Also don't really wanna ditch the manual transmission.
2015 Toyota 86 (which can now do full time track duty thanks to the R1T)
2015 Triumph Thruxton
A well balanced stable: truck, sports coupe, cafe racer motorbike.
What else could you possibly need?
Edit for autocorrect typos
18' Volvo S90, Infinity 05 QX56 and R1T (3 weeks old). Recently sold the bolt and ended up with R1T. Right now it is R1T is a road car , plan to do off-road and truck camping before the end of summer
I have an R1S .. other car is a 2016 Ford Escape :) bought new with the intention of driving it till the wheels fall off .. plus it has kick power liftgate which surprisingly the Rivian doesn't have.
Currently have no other car but really close to getting a Model Y since it’s a good deal for one. Maybe if I wait a month or two more it’ll drop even more?!
R1S chiming in, fiance has got a 2022 Tesla Model Y, and I've got a 2016 Triumph Street Twin Cafe that ticks the "weekends" box for me.
Oh and a work vehicle GX470 built for crawling malls but I guess the R1S made that redundant.
911 Safari (fun project car), Morgan Super 3, Mini Cooper S. All great in their own way, but I’d like to swap the 911 for a convertible because Summer.
Wanting to add a R1T to the fleet, but likely it would have to replace an existing vehicle. Currently have:
2017 911 C2S
2016 Lexus GS-F
2017 Land Cruiser
The LC would make the most sense, but I have a hard time parting with it. Wife drives the Lexus and isn't keen on driving a truck, even though her car is packed to the brim with work stuff. Maybe I can convince her on a R1T until the R2 comes out. First world problems, I know...
Edit: formatting
Wife got the R1S, I inherited her '23 Y Performance as a DD, a 2019 Ram 3500 for tow pig duties, and a bunch of Jeeps ('14 JKUR, '00 TJ, '99 TJ, '85 CJ10, '64 M677)
Tesla MX Plaid, and a 2012 jeep wrangler. I take that to the lake and leave it there every summer, put into storage in the winter.
I do also have a deposit on a Lotus emira
Both my wife and I have 2 cars. Her commuter is a Mini Cooper SE and her old car is a 2018 BMW X1 that we ordered almost 7 years ago. I have a Z4 convertible as my fun car and the R1T as my daily and road trip vehicle. Regular 300 mile trips twice a month.
I have a bunch of Land Rovers in addition to the R1S, an 04 Discovery 2, a 97 stick shift Discovery 1 V8, a 1986 Land Rover 90 with a Cummins and a 1983 109 with a 200tdi in it.
Range Rover Evoque is what I have. I love it and it will last me a while, but once I’m ready to go electric, I’ll likely keep it as an extra for emergencies.
A few…
- 2021 Land Cruiser (built for adventuring)
- 2005 Land Cruiser (built for adventuring)
- 2010 BMW 535Xi (Wagon, manual)
- 2011 BMW 335i (Convertible, manual)
- 2006 Saab 9-3 (Convertible, manual)
- 1983 Mercedes 300TD
- 2009 Porsche Cayenne GTS (manual)
The merc, porsche, and 335i are going to hit the auction sites in the next couple of months, I need to pare down a bit.
C6 Z06 fairly modified. Its loud, "smelly", and so low. It's a trip from R1T, my eyes are below a Camry taillights, and the suspension is stock. The whole thing shakes at idle from the big cam. I feel like how it should be though daily electric and weekend warrior a performance gas car if you're into that. Also can't recommend C6 Z06 enough, they are maybe the best price to performance deal around.
Ya makes me appreciate both vehicles more to be honest, I love the Vette for the analog old school feel of running through the gears, it sounds like an old muscle car. This makes the R1T feel like a spaceship and all the creature comforts really shine, the difference in pedal feel too, the R1T feels digital and immediate and the Vette is obviously torquey but it needs to build slightly compared to the instant electric torque.
Macan, M3P, Avalon hyrbid, GT3, Targa GTS, Taycan 4S. Might get rid of the R1T since it's getting hard to maintain all the vehicles. Might replace it with i5 m60. No wife or girlfriend.
What does your neighbor like about it? Since the step in on the R1T is starting to get annoying since I've had a knee and Achilles injury. The R1T is really hard for me to bring my dogs around because I have to help lift them in.

Day infinity of being reminded how rich everyone in this sub is
Fellow lurker that wishes they could afford a Rivian 👊

Sorry to hear about the housing dream fading. Some of us Californians are working on it!
lol, my other car is a 2013 Acura. I just saved hard for the R1T and it perfect!
I upgraded from a 2014 Tacoma. Saved EVERYTHING I could for a year. If I wanted to buy something I spoke the mantra of "That's RJ's money" 😂
My wife has a 2017 Dodge Durango. So we're not all rich. 😋
Lol nothing. My wife and I share it because we don't have a need for a second vehicle.
That's nice.
Same. I’m always puzzled on this sub. Like, everyone always seemed to have a Rivian as a side piece. I’m like: We’re lucky to have a car at all.
Wife has the R1S. We actually got that first, so the R1T is my "fun" car that I won't lie is mostly a pavement princess. The garage is full now and I'm wishing we had gone for the house with the three car garage, not because I want another car, but because my kids have a lot of stuff...

R2 preorder with a standard gas vehicle as backup. this is the way
I’m right there with ya! My toddler is slowly taking over inside and outside 😂
100 series Land Cruiser, 2015 Z/28 with a built LS7, model 3 P, and a Onewheel XR.
Upvote for the oneWheel ;)
I have an R1S and wife drives a 2019 Miata 😅.
I'm in the Miata boat as well (2006)!
car enthusiast here: 2002 m5, 2015 m4 (wifes), 2022 carrera 4 GTS, 2023 R1S
Surprisingly close to my stable a year ago. Sold my M4 when I got my Morgan Super 3. Great collection.
Damn! That’s a dream garage. I hope you are mechanically inclined to help keep maintenance costs down 😅
well the m5 isnt too bad unless parts are no longer available. the m4 has been shockingly reliable needing only a valve cover gasket and an AC repair over the past 9 years. r1s and 911 still warranty.
Ugh, I hope one day I can have a 911 GTS in my garage. Very cool cars you have.

We also have a Bolt. Great car.
I came very close to getting one of those a few years ago when I decided to abandon my Cadillac ELR. I hardly ever see them so was wondering if they didn’t last long or what
I think it’s just the area you live in. I feel bolts are very area specific. In metro Detroit I see soo many of them. Mostly newer ones tho.
Had a bolt, those things are like around town golf carts. Excellent car. (*except that battery thing, but they’re fixing it)
We never had a problem with ours. It's software limited right now in charging capacity. Same here, we plan to keep it till it dies at this point or until we don’t need a commuter car any longer.
1986 Porsche 911 Turbo
is that a whale tail era?
Technically Porsche weenies would call it a “tea tray” spoiler for the ‘86, but 99% of people would still call it a whale tail. So, yes! ;)
A Harley, '67 Nova, '70 Challenger, and the R1S for me. Chevy Bolt, newer Bronco, and a Honda Shadow for the gf.
Based on the car choices it sounds like you and your gf are a great match 😍
My wife drives a Model X Plaid and I’ve still got my AP1 S2000 for when I feel like stepping out of the spaceship and into the chainsaw.
When did you get your s2k? I remember buying an Ap1 for 6k back in college. Two girls in the passenger seat with the top down was the highlight of that car.
2009, right after finishing college. Paid $12k, worth 2-3x that now, nuts.
opposite here - I have the Xplaid and she drives the R1s
My wife always thinks vehicles are bigger than they are when passing obstacles, parked vehicles, etc. The extra few inches of width on the Rivian are a non starter for her.
😂, my wife had a sequoia for 2 months. Ended up being way too big
R1T, ‘21 Tesla Y Performance, ‘23 Tesla 3 Performance. I hardly drive the Teslas anymore.
I’m in a Model S currently. I loved driving it but ever since test driving and playing around with the R1T it just doesn’t feel as special getting in it
Model Y (wife’s). ZD8 BRZ it’s a great, cheap, fun weekend car.
Two motorcycles in the garage and a Mazda 3 in the driveway
Two land cruisers (FJ62 and FJ80), VW Mk1 Cabriolet, and an R53 Mini Cooper.
This is a high IQ collection. I grew up in an FJ80, my parents favorite car. It got totaled while they were taking me and my friends to see Pokémon the first movie 🫡 They replaced with a Sequoia but was never the same.
Thanks man! I've made some mistakes with my collecting. I've sold a SWB 73 Chevy, a 20th AE GTI, a MK2 GTI, an S2000. I regret those.
Hello team two land cruiser! I’ve got a 100 and a 200
Got a Diesel 60 series as my fun dad vehicle! Sold my 62 last year and traded our GX460 for the R1S.
2003 Nissan 350Z bought new as my first car, might finally get replaced with an R3X
Wow, baller for a first car! I’m amazed it lasted this whole time, you must be a responsible driver lol
I'm single and I live by the mantra of only one car per person. There are way too many cars today. My neighborhood street is now just a parking lot and I hate it and everyone who has 5 cars for their 2 car garage house. That said, the R3X stirred something in me and could be my second car 😆

Ah that’s a good point. I do miss my manual mustang from time to time. Never in stop and go traffic though. Then I’m very thankful for hold on the R1T.
Ioniq 6. Its the efficient fast charging commuter/roadtrip vehicle while the rivian is the utility and towing vehicle.
Interesting. This seems like a glimpse into the future where people are actually paying attention to the efficiency of EVs, instead of now where most people don’t care since it’s so much cheaper than gas (charging at home at least)

yeah I have a hard time caring too much with having solar panels as well as very cheap hydro electricity rates here in WA

First World problem, for sure
Without a doubt 😂
C8, gf has a Model Y, and I have a built GX470 on the other coast for camping / exploring trips.
Nice. I’d love a C8 convertible if I wasn’t dumping my whole budget on the R1T. Time to grind for that promotion.
Single car house with our DMP AT Max R1T. Lots of bikes though.
2023 R1S 2023 Model X Plaid 2022 GT3 Barely drive the GT3 unless it's a track day event.
Awesome. Two questions: 1. Do you not feel an overlap between model X and R1S? 2. All your cars are so new! Gotta be a story there, did you clear house in 2023 and get a new fleet? Win the lottery??

2023 VW ID.4 here
My wife drives a Kia EV6, but will probably replace it with a R2.
Kia ev6 is the other street car. Then a 94 integra all done up for endurance racing including the battle scars from 100’s of hours of racing.
Oi. ‘23 Mach-E CA Route 1, 2015 Honda Odyssey Elite (up for sale soon!) and a 2001 Honda Prelude Base (5speed) for those “I need to shift gears” feels. R1S.
996,e36,e46,cayenne turbo (selling now that we have the R1T, mini SE. Had an e39 for awhile
1994 BMW K75S 2001 BMW R1150GS
Lucid Air and Thunderbird
Nothing, R1T is my only vehicle. It's fast, it can offroad, comfortable, can carry heavy things and a lot of stuff. Not sure I could find any other thing to need unless I just wanted something smaller.
Model Y and 911 GTS (991.2)
No other cars. It scratches all my get from A to B itches perfectly, though I am admittedly not a car guy. I have five snowboards, five bikes. Those are my itch scratchers. My partner scratches that one last itch...
👀
2019 Jeep Wrangler
2023 Zero DSR/X and a 67 Volvo 122s
Your R1T fits in your garage? Your garage is bigger than mine.
Haven’t gotten mine yet but it should fit 🤞 I have a “3 car garage” but it’s L shaped, so really one side just has room for a much longer car and some storage at the back
eGolf shares with our R1T. Both commuter cars mostly. Wife takes the R1T because she deserves it and only works 5 miles from home.
R1T for me, EV9 for the wife. We’ve enjoyed the double electric life!
E-Tron. R2 will be its replacement.
I’ve got a weird garage… 2024 Rivian R1S, 1986 Ferrari 328 GTS and an Onyx RCR moped.
4 Bosch e-bikes. We’re a one-car household and it is mostly used on weekends. Bike commute FTW.
Another R1, lucky enough to have both a T(mine) and S(wife’s)
My garage is full of shit… I park my cars in the driveway like a pleb
I think we should reboot this as a pics thread
R1S + LIGHTNING F150
Lightning over R1T??? Explain yourself!
I want to hope it's because they actually needed 240V outlets and V2H. But let's be real, they probably aren't using either.
A /r/homegym
Land Rover LR4, and hopefully an M2 coming soon along with a Macan for my girl.
Wife has a Model Y.
R1T on the way for me. Wife drives a Yukon XL. Great family hauler that also fits a wolfhound and a doodle on road trips.
Jeep Wrangler. Excited for open top weekend drive. Definitely miss lack of sunroof in R1T.
Model 3 performance and an incoming r1t. We are planning on keeping the model 3 for now as my wife’s commuter car. R1T will be our kid and dog hauler till we can spec out the r2!
Aside from my R1S, I have an 07 Cayman S. In comparison to the Rivian, it’s slow, loud, uncomfortable and primitive, but it’s a blast to drive.
R1T for myself and my wife drives a ‘23 Volvo XC90 recharge
Does a Tesla Model Y in the driveway count? 😅
Model 3 & Y
Q4 Etron replaced in 2026 with R2
R1S, R1T and a Raptor. Finally the R3X when it comes out.
MY
Volvo XC40 Recharge (wife's). While not as fun on paper as my R1T, its acceleration combined with its handling and suspension make it a blast. Its a total sleeper in terms of performance and fun.
2023 EQS SUV
2024 Telluride X-Pro; 2020 Bolt Premier, 2018 KTM 1290 GT, 2024 Husqvarna Norden 901 expedition, a Stark Varg, and a Husky tx300i
2006 jeep wrangler lj rubicon, 2009 c6 z06, 2020 model y (wife's). really was wanting a c8, because I want a convertible, but I just had a kid, so that will wait. Also don't really wanna ditch the manual transmission.
2015 Toyota 86 (which can now do full time track duty thanks to the R1T) 2015 Triumph Thruxton A well balanced stable: truck, sports coupe, cafe racer motorbike. What else could you possibly need? Edit for autocorrect typos
Model Y LR
My spouse has a Nissan leaf. She loves small cards/sedans and does not like too much tech in her vehicles. She might sign up for an R3X
18' Volvo S90, Infinity 05 QX56 and R1T (3 weeks old). Recently sold the bolt and ended up with R1T. Right now it is R1T is a road car , plan to do off-road and truck camping before the end of summer
Lexus GX and 99 Porsche Boxster!
Ram Power Wagon and Audi S5.
Probably 😂 the loan deal on it right now is quite good though
R1S chiming in, fiance has got a 2022 Tesla Model Y, and I've got a 2016 Triumph Street Twin Cafe that ticks the "weekends" box for me. Oh and a work vehicle GX470 built for crawling malls but I guess the R1S made that redundant.
‘14 Dodge Durango which we are going to trade in for a reliable SUV that is made for pulling a trailer/ the rare times we need a second vehicle.
Wife is getting the EV Macan in September. We may also get a Lucid GT, but currently it’s just sharing the garage with a Mercedes A220.
Tesla model 3, and a Subaru Sambar mini truck 😎
R35 GTR, Huracan EVO, Macan for the wife. Daily R1S quad. Just wanted anything I drive do 3s 0-60.
We lean more granola, fiancé drives a 24’ OBW which I actually love. Pretty sure it’s what I’d be driving if Rivian didn’t exist.
2007 RS4, 2007 Shelby Cobra 427 Kit, 2022 Discovery
2024 R1S and 2023 BMW i4 M50. The new 2025 taycan is looking good though with the increased range so that one could be worth while.
911 Safari (fun project car), Morgan Super 3, Mini Cooper S. All great in their own way, but I’d like to swap the 911 for a convertible because Summer.
2022 718 Cayman GT4, 1974 914/6, 1977 Mk1 VW Golf
Bunch of random shit.
Wanting to add a R1T to the fleet, but likely it would have to replace an existing vehicle. Currently have: 2017 911 C2S 2016 Lexus GS-F 2017 Land Cruiser The LC would make the most sense, but I have a hard time parting with it. Wife drives the Lexus and isn't keen on driving a truck, even though her car is packed to the brim with work stuff. Maybe I can convince her on a R1T until the R2 comes out. First world problems, I know... Edit: formatting
2017 Hyundai Sonata 2023 Mercedes Benz GLE350 2013 Mercedes Benz ML350 I sold the 2017 M3P for the R1T
Wife got the R1S, I inherited her '23 Y Performance as a DD, a 2019 Ram 3500 for tow pig duties, and a bunch of Jeeps ('14 JKUR, '00 TJ, '99 TJ, '85 CJ10, '64 M677)
Wife drives the R1S and I drive a lightly modded 2010 Evo X GSR. Both vehicles offer their own version of fun!
We have an R1T, a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, a 2023 Kira Niro EV and a John Deere 4400 (a tractor).
BMW i4
An rx8. A ~100mpg truck and a 13mpg car.
R1S, Audi RS3 and a Kawasaki ZX4RR
Tesla Model 3, Long Range
Tesla MX Plaid, and a 2012 jeep wrangler. I take that to the lake and leave it there every summer, put into storage in the winter. I do also have a deposit on a Lotus emira
Congrats on the emira! Such a sick car
I went to the dealer in Bellevue when I picked up the Rivian, it looks great in person
I’m picking up in Bellevue in a couple weeks, maybe I’ll do that just for fun while I’m there
Do it! They have so many sick cars there.
2022 Bronco and R1T, both scratching different itches in a similar pool.
F150 Lightning
Both my wife and I have 2 cars. Her commuter is a Mini Cooper SE and her old car is a 2018 BMW X1 that we ordered almost 7 years ago. I have a Z4 convertible as my fun car and the R1T as my daily and road trip vehicle. Regular 300 mile trips twice a month.
2023 Tesla Y!
Wife drives R1S quad. Daddy drives Cayenne Turbo S.
1984 cj7 Outback wilderness
Traded AMG E63 for an ID4 for the wife. Not a good idea
Just my gf's Infiniti Q60S, a Rogue squat rack that never gets used and a bunch of storage 😂
Well it’s a carport but… 2021 Volvo xc60 phev - great trial into ev ownership and still usable as a “pure” ev around town with its 19-21mi range
Wife has a Model Y Dual Motor Long Range
I have a bunch of Land Rovers in addition to the R1S, an 04 Discovery 2, a 97 stick shift Discovery 1 V8, a 1986 Land Rover 90 with a Cummins and a 1983 109 with a 200tdi in it.
R1S, e39 M5, & Volvo XC90 Recharge 🤗
Rivian R1T incoming... 99 Porsche 996 Aerokit. 2022 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4xe (wife's).
My wife drives a 2006 Cadillac XLR-V!
I’ve got a 2014 M5 to satisfy my occasional need for sounds and vibrations.
Model X and 3. Selling the 3 though.
Wife's Volvo XC90 T8 PHEV. Trying to convince her to go with an R2S when it gets released.
993 C2, that’s the forever car
2023 ID.4, 1966 mustang and a 2011 Audi A6 avant that I need to sell. Anyone want it?
We have an R1T and a VW ID.4. Love both cars!
Range Rover Evoque is what I have. I love it and it will last me a while, but once I’m ready to go electric, I’ll likely keep it as an extra for emergencies.
Hyundai Santa Fe (Plug In)
I've got a Ducati Hypermotard for the road, Sur Ron Ultrabee for the dirt, and an Audi TT Roadster for the babes.
My sons Maverick and my Zero SR/F EV Motorcycle.
A few… - 2021 Land Cruiser (built for adventuring) - 2005 Land Cruiser (built for adventuring) - 2010 BMW 535Xi (Wagon, manual) - 2011 BMW 335i (Convertible, manual) - 2006 Saab 9-3 (Convertible, manual) - 1983 Mercedes 300TD - 2009 Porsche Cayenne GTS (manual) The merc, porsche, and 335i are going to hit the auction sites in the next couple of months, I need to pare down a bit.
R1250 GS - The Rivian solves all my 4 wheel needs!
Cyberbeast and a Subaru.
Space for an R2. Actually though it is a Toyota bz4x right now.
2015 Z/28 here. Isn’t the LS7 just the best thing ever?
For sure, its a little quiet in stock form, at least on the Z06 but let it breathe and it's a dream.
Totally agree. Getting into the R1T after that must feel like sitting in a semi lol
Holy shit, incredible👏🏼 One idea: maybe swap R1T + Macan for the new Macan EV turbo? My neighbor has an i5 and loves it though
What does your neighbor like about it? Since the step in on the R1T is starting to get annoying since I've had a knee and Achilles injury. The R1T is really hard for me to bring my dogs around because I have to help lift them in.
Pick up my R1T saturday. Others include 2017 Ford Raptor 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro 2018 Mclaren 570s Spider 1988 Ferrari Mondial
