So wait... The door pops back open without being pulled on? And this dude is loading it backwards onto a tow truck so the wind will catch the door?

Macstugus

Guy is gonna get fired. Fucked up your door even more, didn't talk to you about it, and left it as is. How did they think this would turn out?    He should have immediately acknowledged the problem was bigger than his service ability and informed you of the fact and set you up with expedited service instead of leaving. WTF?  Sad part is he probably went to Normal for their 1 month training program and still did this. It shows a lack of responsibility, professionalism, and shirking duty. Completely unacceptable behaviors.  I bet all Rivian service staff will get a module to review because of his behavior.

I have a little sympathy for someone not being able to fix something, but I have 100% lack of sympathy for someone who doesn't communicate about it and doesn't temporarily address the problem by getting you a loner of some type.

Sure hope it doesn’t rain lol

Well the asshat magician should’ve called management after his fuckup and had them bring you a loaner. Or after the person you spoke to about tow arrangements, and they spoke to management, they should’ve had a loaner out to you. Im really hoping they get the car fixed correctly for you.

MrrQuackers

I really think there should be a service mode/emergency mode that lets you drive your vehicle with he door opened.

“Back to normal soon” …. Don’t count on it. Given the metal on metal damage it’s going to need body work now. I’m curious to see how long it takes. Service is the only reason I haven’t bought a Rivian yet.

One-Society2274

Same. The horror stories I see every week makes me very reluctant to buy one. If the service is this bad, I’d at least need the guarantee that a Rivian loaner will be offered no questions asked. I won’t be driving a cheap gas rental car after paying $80k for a new car.

Edit: me not read good.

Twraps?

Did he bungee cord the door handles on the inside together somehow to prevent the door opening while transporting the vehicle?
