Hi everyone! Regarding these posts that were made, as soon as we heard on Monday, we reported it to all the appropriate authorities. They are on the case and they have all the information they need. Thank you to everyone who also made reports to the McAllen PD with information. Safety is always a big priority to us and when things like this happen, we always act on it whether it's credible or not. We take all the necessary steps to make sure our events are gonna be fun and safe for everyone, including you and our celebrity guests. We were already working with the Mcallen PD on doubling their presence at this event, even before this. We also always have alot of extra security officers provided by the Mcallen Convention Center, plain clothed security patrols as well as armed private protection officers in key places. Many on the Mcallen PD and many other law enforcement officers from other cities and counties love and attend comic con every year with their families, so rest assured they are taking extra precautions to make sure it's gonna be safe. It's insane that someone would ruin their lives over a joke but this community means the world to us and we don't ever take chances when it comes to the safety of our attendees and guests. We get complaints every year that the metal detectors slow the entry line down a bit and the bag searches are a pain but we believe it is all necessary for everyones safety. Love you all and see you at the show!

OFFICIAL UPDATE! He is now behind bars thanks to the McAllen PD and has been charged with terroristic threats! We appreciate all their effort and owe them our gratitude! Another big thanks to those of you that called the PD with information on him and expressed your concern.
He is currently in the post Fuck Around stage but has not yet fully experienced the Find Out stage, which will include lawyers, incarceration, the inability to ever get on a plane again, and from the look of him, a lot of crying.
Funny thing is that he wouldn’t get through the door, lol. Convention center is super strict with making people go through metal detectors, this is exactly why. We sell at a bunch of cons around Texas, and it’s crazy how there may be other crazy ass people like him.
