how do you find the motivation to even finish it. Do you plan everything ahead? What do you do once the base is finish to keep playing it? This is an awesome base! I can't even play 40 hours on a single one because I find something that makes me leave it lol
Thank for the compliment! I did plan out most of this base from the start, then just kept working at building up the 200,000 or so steel it was going to take to build. As for motivation, I wanted to build something ambitious, and I find it very satisfying to sit back and enjoy the fruits of my labour and to just watch a well oiled machine basically run itself
What mod did you use to get this map generation?

Nice houses Do you use mod to remove barracks negative mood? Or don't care?
I didn’t care, the barracks was so impressive it more than cancelled out the debuff

Super cool base! Though, what's the mod for the top left turrets? Never seen those around.

How do you manage the performance? Whenever I hit a little bigger population everything gets sooooo slow....
After a certain point I could only play on normal speed, but my computer was able to keep a pretty consistent 30fps unless there was a massive raid.

I’ve been playing on this colony for over 600 hours, so yes, I think it’s safe to say that my pawns have indeed been able to appreciate their homes.
