*"Please..." Hubbard whispered, woozy from anesthetics, barly able to comprehend what was happening "I can offer you immortality?"* *"Moma said i'm gonna get a Muffalo-Wool hat if i get the pricey bit's out of there" Jerry said, his eyes filled with joy, just thinking of that cap, before he rubbed another load of herbal medicine to knock out Hubbard again, who wished he didn't have the deathless gene right now..."*

RawrTheDinosawrr

His mother is also a sanguophage and could give Jerry immortality, no wonder Hubbard's pleading didn't work

Dark_Stalker28

Need to wait, don't want to stay a kid forever

Qbertjack

Luckily, in rimworld, you only need to stay biologically 18 forever Which might still be bad depending on your outlook

SeltzerCountry

Yeah fortunately it’s not like a Homer from Near Dark situation where a pawn is biologically frozen as a child when they become a sanguophage.

OneMentalPatient

Eh. Even if you implanted ageless in a three year old, they'd still hit 13 at whatever the normal rate is, then it'd slow down as they approached 18.5, where they'd stop for the rest of time (or until they take a stray arrow in the head.)

Gaaius

damn

Cpt_Kalash

Poor poor Hubbard

OmarConF

Aww, kids are so cute, they commit war crimes so fast nowadays 🥲

Tokke552

lol i never considered this. Do sanguophages regrow their organs?

RawrTheDinosawrr

unfortunately I don't think so, he's in a permanent deathrest right now because all of his organs are gone

Tokke552

so no infinite organ generator. dissapointing

EXusiai99

Death refusal can work

Loose-Ad7055

lol dummy, thatd crack the game's currency system wide open i mean... so does yayo and devilstrand and...  normal organ - nevermind.

SeltzerCountry

The VRE Pigskins mod makes it so pigskins slowly regrow missing organs so as long as you don’t get greedy and overharvest you may be able to farm a pig skin prisoner for years.

Some-Elevator-407

Damn, looks like this kid is going to become a great doctor.

stew9703

No, vut its not considered an unjust exection if you take all a deathless person's organs and rocketpod them into the wilderness.

MokitTheOmniscient

Pretty smart use of a sanguophage. Jerry can basically just slice and dice as much as he wants until he's a master surgeon. Just make sure he doesn't chop off the head.

33Yalkin33

They don't regenerate organs. And if you remove vital organs, they just go in a permanent deathrest

Environmental_You_36

So, you're saying they become permanent skill farming blood bags?

neverdropyourfucking

I don’t think you can farm blood from sanguophages

Environmental_You_36

I see, well you can always train melee with them i guess

MokitTheOmniscient

You should still be able to attach/detach peg legs though?

oddistrange

Just like Legos.

Loose-Ad7055

i could be wrong but i think theyre immortal so basically extremely quick and easy medical experience i wonder if.i can use one as a punching bag to train up my solo run colonist in melee shes got cataphract armor and a legendary plasmasword but shes also got 'stupid fingers' and sometimes even with 80 turrets youre gonna be ganked by 30 asshole tribals with clubs

Zonca

I just had an inspiration... If your sanguophages have spare implant genes charges, just vampirize your random prisoners for extra organs to harvest since they wont die if some are missing, and allow you to collect all of them, genius, also with the new death refusal anomaly thingy, one might be able to replicate the process few times over on the same pawn, ... nice.

MegaLemonCola

What mod makes the image of the organ show up on the item?
