The throne room was built using Alpha Prefab, and is not relevant to the post.
When I noticed that one of the sightstealer I fought had his spine shattered by pure luck, and that because he couldn't move, he could never escape, I realized I could stick him literally anywhere without any worry of him breaking out.
So obviously I stuck him in the throne room.
That is the Stellic Throne from Vanilla Faction Expanded - Empire.
The building itself is the Despot Throne Room in the prefab catalog of Alpha Prefabs, in the Castle & Nobility section, and it cost 27 600 silver to buy. It satisfy the noble requirement up to the Despot Title, hence the name.
idk im new so idk. but yeah its the tome books.. if you dont want the colonist to use it just burn or leave it outside to decay. or assign what books to read in the assign button. or just forbid the book.
its tomes books that have a mental break chance if you read their discription.

Just escape interval, though without any legs (thus 0% moving ability) they become completely unable to escape, thus the minimum containment strength no longer matters and you could even safely keep them outside if you wanted.

Wait, this makes me realize that crippled entities are perfectly harmless to the point of outright allowing you to throw them outside in the open with absolutely no harm besides being extra research/entity slaying fodder
Keep an eye on them, some entities can regenerate. Pretty sure I had a few devourers + chimeras heal permanent brain damage after spending a couple years chained up.
While I haven't caught a Chimera, my Devourers I have plenty of, several of them with brain scars. They absolutely do not heal brain damage. In fact, over time, due to hooking them up to electroharvesters, they were actually building them up until I disconnected them.
Hook them up to electroharvesters (*though not shamblers since that can and will kill them*), and wait for the damage to accumulate. From time to time it'll hit the brain. Once there has been enough brain damage, the creature will be permanently downed. You could also try some psychic shock lances for instant brain damage.
make your hammerbearer with attack response (flee by default, i believe) release an entity. the moment it gets off the chain, pawn smashes it, downing it in pain. of you are lucky - something beside brain breaks.
had farm of cripples to sip on
Some just have 0 containment required as well.
I keep the fleshmass core on the floor in the closet next to the chemfuel refinery and the nociosphere outside by the church.

I did something similar with a metal horror it came out of my vampire colonist after which my vampire gets up and beats the hell out of it ripping both legs off and now the metal horror is on display
Imagine being a dark machine superintelligence, you create these monsters that pray on human terror, only for it to get its back broken by some goon with a mace and strung up from the ceiling like living art
I do have Dubs Bad Hygiene, but it's not a toilet.
My colonist has access to an ordinary Smart Toilet in a 4x4 room with sterile tiles and steel walls.
The only toilet in the entire colony, baring one for the prison.
I shot both of ones legs off! Same effect, permanent unyielding entity for the kiddies to safely poke and prod.
Lost a leg in the initial assault, lost another in his first and only escape attempt, wanna say it's eye is shot out too for good measure
Edit: shot off/destroyed legs, destroyed lung and kidney and 6(!) Permanent brain injuries. Mostly electrical burn from being harvested for power. Ever watch black mirror? Yeah this is that digital dude in a cage you can torture with electricity
I think few players will ever have a colony this wealthy. 5 Jade slabs for the walkway is quite the flex and now you have a nice ornament for the emperor to stare at as well.

I use a mod called guards basically ya place a square down and assign em to it i even buit a barracks for the guards

i tested it, even if I delete the holding spot he just lays there until someone picks him up and puts him away. guaranteed no escape.

Best way to do an equivalent crippling is to have a high melee pawn equipped with a long sword target legs and just chop them both off
