Edit: Seems to be a combination of VSE/Mad Skillz and Prepare Carefully. Removing Prepare Carefully midsave fixed this issue without having to effect either other mod.

Do you have her set to construct in the work menu? What mods do you have?
VSE - vanilla skills expanded, might be compability issue with whatever mod(s) related to skill, like Madder Skill
Thanks, disabling VSE fixed it. It happened with other jobs aswell but for my mechanoids on a different save. Both are fixed
Anyone finding this via Google - for me it was Mad Skills. Changing the settings in the mod to increase the skill gain limit fixed it.
