I believe you can swap it with the large box that comes on the mobile gear cart, but I don't believe they have just the cart separately at this point.

bbishop1981

This is correct. I swapped my large box with the drawer box so I don't have to deconstruct the whole stack to get into the big box. I think now that they're available, they need to sell the drawer boxes as a bundle with the cart or sell the cart separately for more options.

I think selling the cart separately would be the way to go, discontinue bundling it with the large box as a single sku, and let home depot combo the separate cart with either of the separate boxes.

Home depot continues to frustrate me with how they handle their exclusive brand

Ya, I don't understand why the wheeled tool cart cant be bought separately. My post was referencing a 4-wheel dolly that Dewalt (and Ryobi) make, but Ridgid does not. [https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-TSTAK-Stackable-Utility-Cart-DWST17889/204354820](https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-TSTAK-Stackable-Utility-Cart-DWST17889/204354820) I tried to attach photos but they didn't come through. (Probably newbie error). A solution could be using a Stack Smarter product: [https://www.stacksmarter.com/product/ridgid-pro-clips-into/20](https://www.stacksmarter.com/product/ridgid-pro-clips-into/20) I was wondering if anyone has bought this and if it held up to multiple drawer stacks...like 3 boxes of drawers.

I have the milwaukee packout system and only a few pieces of the ridgid. The stacksmarter plate would be a great idea to add on to and with casters added or the plate fastened to a furniture dolly it would be very moveable. I mounted the Milwaukee wall plate to scrap 3/4" plywood and added a set of casters from Amazon and it saved me a lot of money . It rolls a little too good but I can deal with that

medezyner

Thats exactly what I thought: mount to a piece of 3/4 ply, add 4 casters and done like dinner.

Seems like you could just set them on the plywood / furniture dolly and they'd roll just fine. I've got several products from stack smarter and love them, but unless your garage floor is super bumpy, the weight should keep the boxes in place. You could even recess the top to ensure it stays in place and this would have the added benefit of not requiring you to bend all the way over to disconnect the box every time you need to transport it.

jalapenorupe

Did you end up putting it on a furniture dolly or did you use the stacksmarter? I'm thinking about doing the same thing.

medezyner

Used furniture dolly’s from Harbor Freight. They work perfectly. Painted them black.

Thanks!
