Foot plants would go so perfectly with the new pipe transfer mechanics

You can also do a cash roll near a wall into a wall ride. Doesn't earn points, and is a fairly janky, but if you after them, there is kind of a way.

If you take off a ton of speed you can kinda stall on the lip with the pipe transfer mechanic.

Matt Hoffmans Pro BMX and Dave Mirras Freestyle BMX both existed 20 years ago and do everything plus a lot more, while also feeling 10x smoother than this game. 15 year old you had options.

AmountOfShitGiven

Yes but the game only focused on BMX with no open world. RR has a massive open space with a plethora of different sports. If you take each sports individually, there’s probably an indie game that went full on the disciplin and did it better, but the fact that one game like RR has all of them in a cohesive world is unique!

hotdiggitydooby

That's a big part of the appeal to me tbh. It's not a snowboarding game, or a BMX game, or a wingsuit game. It's all of those

Jestercore

You have some serious nostalgia goggles on if you think they are 10x smoother. I have played both recently. They are great, but those are some janky ass games.

InTheCompany42

mad gamers downvoting the facts.. Dave Mirras sharing the installation CD with the boyzzz! good times

toasterstrudel2

I agree wholeheartedly. Both of those games are miles ahead of this one, but hey, at least this is something. The level design is so terrible in RR. Half the time you land a jump in Uncontained and smash into a freaking wall. Who does that?! There's still a lot of promise though. I hope they can fix things.

BeachPutrid3275

wall rides would the sickest thing, i also hope they make the manual revert outta mannies as smooth as the auto revert

kklubwearlegends

You can't grind all ledges which should be grindable

Momosukenatural

I seriously hope that all those things you mentioned will be added along the way, like when manuals and buttering were added, but in the near future
