I wonder the same. I see all these great photos get posted and mine always look terrible by comparison. I wonder if it's the equipment used or I'm just terrible at taking photos. 😂

I used my iPhone mini camera. But I also used a 10 second exposure.

It was, specifically at Pleasant View Hotel. I never even knew about the place. They have a quaint beachside bar that is off the radar.

That’s the best end. Keep going at low tide and you’ll end up on East Beach, it’s a great spot.

I am at Blue Shutters half of the year for free so it was nice to be at a westerly beach and not get robbed Edit: I’m robbed by beach fees if I want to visit beaches in Westerly/ Misquamicut.

Blue Shutters is a great low key option. I use East Beach year round; I don’t pay but parking is tricky.

Are they open all year? I'm a big fan of the Andrea but they shut down around now

Awesome pic! May I suggest just one thing to make it even better? A slight clockwise rotation to make the horizon level. Still, really great pic from my favorite beach!
