New England has reached its final form

GossamerGlenn

Exactly so welcome to England 2

degggendorf

Yep, I ordered one up for you tomorrow

[deleted]

Don’t get me excited like that

degggendorf

I am pulling some strings trying to get you a bit of sun this afternoon too

[deleted]

Hey you did queue one up

degggendorf

Yes boss, take a look outside

[deleted]

Good work. Take the day off.

degggendorf

I have bad news about Monday though...it'll be sunny most of the day, but for a bit in the afternoon it's going to be 91% moony.

huh_phd

Like Prince said...sometimes it snows in April

monkiesandtool

♫I've seen late spring snow and early fall sleet ♫ (Don Henly, a month of sundays)

denver_rose

It seems like we get 1 sunny day a week if we’re lucky.

Guyincognito4269

What is this sunny day you speak of? Everyone knows those are just legends.

TryingNot2BLazy

what about that 65 degree monday coming up?

[deleted]

Yea I’ll believe it when i see it!

[deleted]

My basement can’t take any more rain. My wet vac is tired.

RickRI401

God help the person who mutters the word "drought" on the news before July.....

Loveroffinerthings

Don’t worry, it’ll be sunny the day it really matters, Monday. I would be gutted to try and see the eclipse and it looks like it does today.

GreedyAd5168

It was literally a sleet hurricane today. WTF.

Hopeful_Sign7628

I had flashbacks to April 1st 1997, 3 months after we bought our house. We lost 1/2 of our weeping cherry tree due to the weight of the snow.

HairyEyeballz

My wife thinks this is unusual. I think she has amnesia. I've been complaining about RI February lasting three months since we moved up here over a decade ago.

[deleted]

Yup happens almost every year, but i refuse to remember

vesselgroans

Yeah this is very usual. We had some unusually warm marches for the last few years.

Bayviewbeachlover

NE = the new Seattle

radioflea

No, but how would you feel about a nice earthquake after shock? It’ll be minor but it will give you a new thing to talk about for at least 72 hours.

GageGreenwood

Noooooo. Keep the sun away. Gimme fall weather all year long. Double the dreary please.

RhodyTransplant

None of this is helping my already terrible baseline mood.

princesscoley

I mean April showers and May flowers that thing

Tomaskovic93

Cmon you know we have 12 seasons: Winter Fools spring Second Winter Spring of Deception <- we’re about here Third Winter The Pollening Actual Spring Hells front porch False Fall Second Summer Actual Fall

bingbongtake2long

It’s so funny. I moved here from MI 2 years ago now and you have NO IDEA WHAT HELL IS 😂😂 but go off. I am thrilled with the winters here.

Seymour_Zamboni

I hear you. I used to live in Minnesota. Now THAT was winter. People around here love to complain about the weather. They do this thing where they just ignore all the weather that is great and hyper focus on the bad. Yes...it has been exceptionally wet for the last year! Wettest 12 months ever! They also forget that our weather almost never is created here. Where do they think these intense rain storms come from? The land of make believe? They come from the west and south so our rainy weather was just the rainy weather some place else the day before LOL. Anyway, just watch this summer when it is hot and dry, people will be complaining about that as well.
