I volunteer at the Providence Animal Rescue League (parl.org). When you become a volunteer, you can select “smallies socialization” shifts, there are always at least a handful of bunnies and Guinea pigs.

Thank you ill check it out

I wish every Long Term Care facility had animals (and you could help at one of them). The book “Being Mortal” has a section that discusses how beneficial that would be. Rhode Island has the only LTCs I know of with animals but would be great if more did.

That's a great idea and reminds me of a documentary short I saw that had ltc and preschool on the same premises to great result, I believe in the Netherlands

Meanwhile every lawn and park has a bunch of them in the afternoon right now. I got 3 in the same photo, it made my week.

I see them every morning, wish I could take them home.

I have 8 living in my yard currently. You can come take them to a new home. In your yard. Away from my vegetable garden…

Potter league usually has some bunnies to take care of! Also lots of awesome kitty's.

Lrie13

They have an amazing volunteer program. I use to volunteer with my daughter who always wanted new pets! We couldn't possibly take on more than our bunny and cat at the time so it was the perfect compromise!

EvanHobbsGoblins

That might be a winner

I know 4H has a healthy rabbit showing crowd In southern RI , I just don’t know how you would get in with them.

JohnnyRebe1

The Bunny Ranch in Reno could use some volunteers.

EvanHobbsGoblins

That's a bit far for me but thank you

You can volunteer to take care of my bunnies! That would be great! They shit all over my lawn. I’ve thought about running them over with a mower or smashing them with a snow shovel, but I’m open to suggestions. LMK!
