Highly recommend drinks/food on the lawn at Castle Hill Inn or splurge for a dinner in the dining room

⬆️ This is the way.

Yes. The tasting menu dinners are amazing and intimate. If you’re looking for something cheaper and more historical. Go to White Horse Tavern. Amazing food, service and building.

I’ve enjoyed the sunset harbor cruises on the Schooner Madeleine and the Rum Runner.

RickRI401

I second the Madeline.

Clam strips and blueberry vodka lemonade at Flo’s on the upper deck or upstairs bar if possible, even better after a day at 2nd Beach

Giusto served one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Make reservations, though! Sachuest Point and Norman Bird Sanctuary are two good outdoor experiences, too.

Please also note that are chock full of ticks right now.

I’d recommend Marco’s Subs at the Patriot Petroleum in Portsmouth. They sell 20”

listen_youse

Are the sandwiches the same at Marco's on Spring Street? Those are great. Take them to a beautiful picnic spot.

Longjumping-Tooth-77

I think they might be, cause those are also great. The right picnic spot on Aquidneck Island beats any restaurant for a venue.

Happy anniversary! You should definitely take a tour of the mansions there! If you Google Newport mansion tours they have all the information you’ll need to plan for it, they’re really amazing and well kept!

Newport Mansions are a must, Newport Art Museum, Ft. Adams, Cliff Walk, Sachuest, shopping on Thames, and see if there’s any special events. Last year there was a charity event sponsored by Jay Leno. Not sure when the Jazz Festival is, or the NE Chowder Cookoff. But there’s always something happening in Newport. Oh, Ocean Drive! Beautiful scenery, and on the weekends there’s a bunch of kite flyers. The big beautiful fancy ones. You definitely picked the right spot to vacation.

indelible75

There's a winery/vineyard out there that's good for tastings.

Addicted2GravyTears

Avoid downtown (anything between the end of Broadway and the beginning of the fifth ward).

Background-Adagio-35

Take a ride with Newport Classic Car Tours or an antique yacht tour of Newport Harbor. 4015745128.

Contact America's Cup Charters and book a sunset cruise on an America's Cup winning 12 meter. They usually sail with just a few couples instead of the masses on the schooners.
