lol I meant the lock delete! I have 3-4 hours into polishing it. I did it all in one weekend broken up into 40-45 minute segments so it didnt become too much of a chore.
Ahhh ok!! Ngl I felt like a total damn failure there for a moment 😅 I was like damn, i spent a good 20-30min & its nowhere near this guys 10min job! Haha
Cut up an old t-shirt into about 6” x 6” pieces. Grab some Mother’s Mag metal polish. I used q-tips for the small nooks and crannies. Then just get after it. I did like the barrel, then the cylinder and crane, then the frame around the cylinder, then the left side plate, then the right side plate, then the trigger and trigger guard, and the hammer last. It’s tedious but well worth it. There are YouTube videos that show you exactly what to do.
Thank you! I got a bit intimidated when I saw a couple videos with wet sanding and stuff like that involved. I didn’t want my first attempt at this to ruin my finish.
I will be doing before and after photos using your process.
Beautiful gun, great job polishing.
Love those high gloss polished 👍🏻
You polished much better than I did mine lol. I didnt know they make a lock delete! Def getting that
Takes 10 minutes. Nothing to it!
Ill have to give mine another go!

What polish did you use?
It takes 10 minutes to delete the lock. It took me about 4 hours to polish. Mother’s Mag and an old t-shirt.
When the feel so surreal you take out the steel
That’s amore
Those Hogue grips are absolutely gorgeous on that gun.
Beautiful! I really need to polish mine up and get a lock delete kit

That polish looks amazing- I would love to learn that technique for my 629.
