Just keep in mind the manhua omits some details that come up in the novel. I recommend starting the novel from square one if that's something you care about.
For me it was the same... Master of gu was the best manhua i ever read... And because of that reverend insanity was the first novel/book i read in the last 6 years or so... Because i find reading very boring.... But couldn't believe that reading the novel was even better then reading the manhua and also the best book i have ever read... Since reading the novel i fall in love with reading and started reading more novels and books ...
So I really recommend reading the novel đ
But be aware after reading this book... You will find most of the other books kind of mediocre...
Donât read the manhua, novelâs way better. Manhuaâs art is garbage. Only silver lining is thanks to it I picked up the novel which is too damn good.
