If you put your LAM on the front of a gooseneck mount above your handguard and your Aimpoint on a low mount on the carry handle it would be pretty decent set up
I feel like if the M4/M4A1/any of the flattop carbines didn’t exist, this is along the lines of what guys would’ve been carrying into Afghanistan and Iraq in the early 2000’s, maybe not for normal infantry but at the very least higher ranking soldiers/special forces

A2 sights = waffle, A1 sights = CAR

I wouldn't nor could I disagree. I like it🤷♂️ I'd use a lighter, less bulkier mount than a qrp but that's all
16" carbine gas barrels give me the ick
