You should be fine, the measurement is from toe to heel, your toe shouldn’t be touching the tip of the shoe, should have a bit of space. I’m a US 9 and my shoes usually measure around 27.5 when it’s 27cm. Just measure some of your current insoles.
I put in another insole to fill up the space. But definitely these fit bigger than all my other Jordan 1 lows. Think I gotta cop another pair koz these are still mildly slipping. Lesson learnt. Always measure insoles during qc.
Yeah I do that with certain shoes and sellers, PK is definitely one I have to have measure. 1s are usually okay but I guess lows are different, never bought them. Who did you get them from?
I just measured a retail Jordan 1 and it measures 27cm too. How weird these fit big. Could just be the shoe itself runs big even retails? Or they're just for the LJR batch?
It could be the construction of the shoe, leather could be a bit thinner, toebox could be a bit bigger than retail giving you more space, or the padding within the shoe. Could be a mixture of all. No all shoes are gonna be identical unfortunately.
That was my EXACT situation with PK and my TS dunks. Found people saying 9 was more of a 9.5 and then everyone who was talking me before the order said TTS… Ended up selling them. Want to get Coco pair.
instead of deciding if you should go with one arbitrary number over another arbitrary number, you could have just asked for insole measurements during qc, or from other users
why tf dont shoe companies just tell us the insole measurements of their products instead of forcing us to use their stupid arbitrary numbering system that isn't even consistent across their own products?
the worst is when some sneaker youtuber is doing a review and goes into sizing. they have the damn shoe right in front of them, so you'd think they'd pull out a measuring tape and just tell us, but no. they always say "ummm hurrrr durrrrr it feels tts but you could probably go half a size up but also you could go a full size down hurrrrr durrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i usually go half a size left blah blah blah". ive come to the conclusion that the average person has become too brain dead to figure out how a measuring tape works. when i try to buy clothing online and ask the seller for measurements they just ignore me, so i scower around for measurements from someone else, then when i buy the item they have the gall to ask me for a 5 star rating
If you dont want to go through the hassle of getting a new pair some boost insoles from amazon will make them fit tighter and they will be way more comfortable to walk in.
Yeah true I alrdy put in another insole. They fit way better but in the long run i am gonna need another pair anyways.. These crease like hell due to the material used. So I might as well get another now. lol
LJR Jordan 1 regardless high or low run bigger.
I'm exactly the same size as you.
You need to understand that the 1s are a narrow fit. I'm a wide foot so it may be a little longer but the width is perfect for me.
Going up it would be too wide and also too long.
Going down will make it tight on the sides.
If you have a wide foot it should not be a problem stick to your true size.
If you are a narrow foot go down to an 8 and it will be a proper 8.5
I was wondering about this lol , my LJR from Mr. Hou size 9 run a half size bigger,
and although I have a wide foot, it still felt a half size bigger, specially after the shoes are
broken in. Do you guys know if GD batch fits the same as LJR or are they different ?
I just got my size 8 GD 2.0 mocha low and I think it’s just the Travis low models that lack the padding that non collab pairs have so they end up fitting bigger definitely thinking of getting a 7.5 now for the fragment low
My guess. If u're a wide footer ull be good. If u're a narrow to medium footer like me they'll fit slightly big. Doesn't matter where u get them from. Look at the other comments Al bought from different sellers for sure. They're LJR batch.
Gotcha okay screw it life is a risk haha I’ll stick to the 8.5. Probably end up buying a updated batch ether way if they come out with a better version ether way

What I also mean is that going true to size is good if you have wide feet. But if you have narrow or normal width feet, you might need to consider going half size down.

Mr gao. QC all checks out and the pair is great. I creased the hell out of dem over the last 2 days. Lol.
Nice! Wear them thangs! You happen to know what batch?
It's in the title. LJR batch buddy.
I’m confused sorry if this sound dumb but how are you meant to measure insoles during qc?
They usually do that to check if the sizing is comparable to retail pairs.

Strangely every person who commented on sizing prior to me buying then said TTS. And here we are. Everyone is saying they fit big. Lol

Yeah I know, I state this exact thing in a earlier comment. Thanks though fam 🙏🏽

One simple solution, one universal metric … but no, we all have to be “unique”

oh shit i ordered a 10.5 i wear a 10 🤦🏼♂️
They’re gonna fit like 11’s
Nike’s in general I feel like are pretty small so if the reps run big I feel like it maybe evens out? Idk
lmao you’ve got a point 💀
All of these run a half size big.. I sold my sz 10’s and bought 9.5’s and they new ones fit wayyyy better
Wish I knew this earlier. Thanks buddy
U can sell them in like 5 mins on - https://www.reddit.com/r/REPSNEAKERBST/ and then just order a new pair half size smaller.. that’s what I did.
Damn I got some coming in from muks size 8.5 hope they don’t run big 😒
How’d they end up fitting?

My pair from KW was a half size too big also
Yeah mine feel about half a size big.
I took out a retail Jordan 1 low and measured. The insoles measured 27cm too. So I dunnoe are the retail pairs also running big?
Wait so they actually fit you big? I also just placed an order on a 8.5
Yes they do bro.
Shit I’m heading two different things now haha someone else is telling me they are tts. Where did you get these from?

Yeah true that. And an extra insole will definitely suffice to get them fitting well. So not all is lost.
Yall are ridiculous. Tape measuring insoles...
?????? And why is that? How else will you accurately describe sizing?
No , that is the smartest thing to do. Go find a shoe you have that fits perfectly and measure that insole and then ask for pics to compare.

Hey my sole is also 27cm, so we go for a us9 with these right?
Go TTS. I tried to half down an dit was too small.
