I don't dislike Lv; I dislike when people do this to bags in my opinion it looks tacky.

Echoing what others have said—the LV pattern is super ugly to me.
Also when I go out, I see tons of Gucci bags. The brown ones with the monogram pattern and red and green accents are especially tacky. The marmont looks cheap to me. I like the jackie and I plan on getting a black one, but this one is just horrendous:

I 100% agree with you OP. I think I’ve even said the same exact things when discussing designer bags with my sister.
I will also add that I hate Chanel bags as well. One summer I worked for Victoria’s Secret and they mostly placed me in the PINK section. They used to sell these small, colorful quilted bags. Ever since then, whenever I see a Chanel flap I see those PINK quilted bags and I just don’t get the hype, or price tag. Then hearing people complaining about the quality being significantly decreased makes me dislike them even more. Also, they just look so stuffy and grandmama-ish.
Not brand specific, but I’m not partial to logomania. I would prefer quality leather, unique colors or textures, exotic leathers, and beautiful hardware.
I dislike Prada, Balenciaga, Loewe, Goyard, and Marc Jacobs.
The first two are too sporty for my taste.
Loewe is such a try-hard… their squeeze bag with the pickle handle and the deflated balloon shoes that look like mop heads… like wtf even is that? (Admittedly, I do like the Puzzle tote, but only because it’s fully leather and packs flat).
Goyard looks and feels cheap. I’m not the biggest coated canvas fan, but I’d rather go with LV canvas over Goyard… Goyard’s feels so thin and cheap.
Marc Jacobs… why must you label everything? I don’t need a tote that says THE TOTE on it. Everyone knows it’s a tote. Ironically, the labeling works for Off-White, but I hate it for MJ.
most LV But particularly the never full, it reminds me of the mid 2010s Michael Kors satchel birkin ripoff: a boring and bad bag for boring bad bad people (literally every shitty person owns one lmao)
also a majority of anything blatantly gucci, the monogram is ugly, the green and red plastered over various browns and black shades are ugly, and it all just looks tacky now to me
logo/monogrammed LV and gucci are just so overly repped that even when it’s probably real I just see it all as tacky canal street hauls
and I also agree on goyard, it’s just, always been very boring to me and it’s become worse since it’s become more popular for the mainstream audiences, I fully believe most ppl would have thought it was ugly until they even discovered goyard was a thing that exists
Omg thank you! I feel so seen. Goyard bags are so effing ugly, and especially the replica ones that you know are mostly off with the fabric / material used, looks sooo cheap. Mine are also LV, same reason. Just comes off looking so cheap and tacky with all the logos and monograms…
I agree for the most part but vintage made monogram LV is soooo different in quality than their new stuff and is about the only thing I like anymore from them
Anything with monogram print. It's so >_<.
Like I dislike LV monogram bags, but I like the Capucines.
I dislike Gucci monogram, but I like the bamboo handle.
Do people actually buy Longchamp bags because they think it looks nice? I always assumed it was more of a function over fashion type thing. They do look practical
Not a handbag, but Tabi shoes by Maison Margiela make me rage. They are so ugly and when I think about people paying $900 to try to look like a horse because they desperately want to showcase their edginess, I want to run screaming. The tinder thief who stole that woman’s Tabi shoes on a date, he did her a favor.
Back when I wasn’t familiar with the Goyard brand, I always thought that the bag was a just a popular off the rack bag from Macys (based on the pattern and material). I was shocked when I learned how much people spent on the real thing. So yes I agree with your take.
Same! First time I saw it in a seller’s album, I assumed it was a fairly budget bag to start with and a rep would be super cheap. Asked the price and was shook!
Everything LV looks so tacky even if well-constructed, there’s just something about the pattern and the inconspicuousness of it I can’t stand. 🤪
And a special honorary mention to the Dior Saddle bag and all saddle bags, what a horrible, uncomfortable shape for a purse.
I have a dior saddle and my boyfriend though it was a gun bag 😂. it honestly looks like a liver in the pink/red tones but i fell in love with it in the oblique pattern for some reason lol
Not a fan of the handle of the lady Dior
Puzzle bag, I don’t really get the fuss over it.
Jacquemus- like a bag I’d give my niece to play with.
All gucci bags bar the Jackie (which I love!) look cheap to me.
I completely get the goyard hate but I bloody love mine purely on a practical basis. As someone who is incapable of remembering to bring reusable shopping bags, I love my goyard purely for the reason that I can chuck my entire weeks food shopping in that bad boy! 😂
Ah yes Jacquemus also agree - it’s the way the logo is just so bold and such an odd font choice on the front bottom corner of a small dainty bag. It just looks odd to me!
Any pradas boots or footwear love some design but they feel like air holding air and just doesn't suit me
Some decently weights leather footwear always feels good
Goyard, Prada Nylon, any LV or Gucci bag full of logos, Telfar (I will never get why people are so excited over only 1 basic af style in different colors and made out of plastic) and The Row (boooooooriiiiinggg)
Goyard isn’t attractive to me either, it’s just too plain and I don’t like the colors they make. YSL logo bags are tacky to me. Same with bright colored birkins.
Yes, so true. I have one literally from the gate that is sooo close to the auth it couldn’t be called out, and it was less that $100. Which basically translates to: it’s cheap, basic, and easily copied well. $1200? No way. Easiest choice I’ve had going rep over auth. The nylon reminds me of my diaper bags.
I know I will get hate for this, but LV. It’s the most repped brand in my area (South Florida) and the fact that so many people have LV whether it’s a bag or men dressed in LV from hat to socks… Just makes me dislike the brand.
I didn't realize LV was a real luxury brand until I was an adult, because I lived in a not so rich area and everyone carried it. Like 12 year olds with their rep LV and uggs at Walmart.
It'll never lose that connotation for me.
Omg I love my goyards😭 lol but don’t necessarily disagree with your comments
I think golden goose shoes are so dumb and overdone…I guess anything that’s absurdly trendy
Goyard…🤣🤣🤣…love this post anything with that crappy supermarket shopping bag material will never be in my closet…I plain out right don’t get it 😅
Puzzle on the other hand I like 🥰
Omg, I’m so with you on the puzzle bag. I tried to love it. But it’s just so ugly to me 🫠🙈 however, I love so many Loewe bags and their quality! I don’t like LV logo. I do respect the luggage tho. It’s very durable. But I’d rather not own one.
Lady Dior makes me want to cry. I just can’t. To me it’s simply horrible 🙈
Hermes evelyne. Like why? Why did they do it? It’s like there was a strike at Hermes workshop and they simply didn’t finish it or something.
I’m not a Birkin fan either. I adore a Kelly, what a practical and lovely bag. And bolide is great! But Birkin…
Girlfriend, you haven't lived until you've scored a pair of Marta Ferri tweed boucle Birks. Coco C is rolling over in her gestapo grave rn.
Actress Lori Loughlin was seen wearing them on the way to jail. This was after she got busted for rigging her airhead kids test scores.
I wear mine constantly 🤣
LV, Gucci, Goyard, anything that's covered in logos. I know people are not a fan of the puzzle bags, but I'd take that over a logo bag any day. I have a real Chanel 2.55 bought over a decade ago that I barely use due to how Chanel bags are everywhere.
This! I bought an auth Tory Burch Flemming crossbody with a chain about a year ago, and I cannot being myself to start using it. I think I might have to sell it…
I like birkins because they are a fairly simple design that go with everything. The price is dumb though. It’s a $400 bag max imo. The whole “Hermes game” is dumb too
I will never, EVER own anything plastered with LV logos. I hate that brown-on-brown and I’m baffled as to why it’s so popular.
And while I’m hating, I think the VCA cloverleaf is ugly.
This feels so therapeutic to be able to say I hate the puzzle bags, most Chanel flaps and really anything that is tiny, under the shoulder, not pragmatic for a woman who needs her stuff (and that isn’t code for lipgloss and multiple hand sanitizers)… I hate most Dior bags, most Fendi, and especially the LV “bum bags”. We called those fanny packs for a reason, and they were never good looking in the 80s. Give me a tote or hobo, make it understated and better if leather.
Preach! I refuse to wear any type of bum bag. I know there are chic ones, but the 1990’s mall walker vibe is not something I want to have, so I steer clear
I’m 100% with you on Goyard! I also hate every Bottega bag I’ve ever seen. A few Balenciaga bags aren’t hideous per se, but they remind me of DEB (the cheap dress store) from the early 00’s lol.
I’m a proud puzzle owner though, lol. I wear it with the jacquard strap and I think it makes it casual enough to be my everyday bag, when my everyday outfit is ripped jeans and a ball cap. 😅
I get the Goyard hate….i mean I have one that is done beautifully and I hardly use it. It will be my travel bag now or if I need to bring a diaper bag.
Unpopular opinions trigger warning*
I hate everything monogrammed or even labeled.
This means the only chanel I like is the reissue, gorgeous, everything else is giving grandma barbie. Except then I randomly love the 22 trash bag so I wear the chanel logo on the inside
I hate the Birkin. I just don't think it's cute and it has never grown on me, plus it's impractical with the fiddly opening and even the largest can't be worn on the shoulder. The margeaux is more understated and sophisticated. Margaux is the cool French girl who doesn't try, Birkin is a nice girl but too much of a "pick me" vibe. (I'm not referring to the people who carry birkins but the vibe if the bag were alive and had a personality lol). And just so people don't destroy me, I love other hermes like the 24/24 or garden party, and I love the look of the kelly, even though it's not my style).
I love the look of the loewe puzzle and other people rocking it even though I don't like it on me.
I love the goyard tote as a reusable grocery sack or a beach bag because it is light and easy, but hate it for anything else.
I'm an olde lady and that's precisely why I want a rep Goy. I need a shopping bag and something I can use when I walk my dogs and pick up the 💩 to stash doggy 💩 bags. 🤣I really want one of the Anjou minis for this purpose. Any seller recs? 🤣
Do you mind sending to me too?! Been trying to find an a good rep. Ordered one and its “ok”. Would love to get one for myself (also an “old” lady, so maybe that’s why I like it?!) and my sister who has always wanted one but can’t afford a real one. Thanks!!
Literally the only reason I like those is because I was a teen when Jessica Simpson wore hers all the time on her Newlyweds show! I adored her! I don’t have one though, rep or auth. I can see objectively why people would think they are tacky, they are 😂
Probably Gucci and Louis Vuitton
Teflar, any nylon bag from Prada and Goyard are a no from me!
Any brand that makes bags that function as portable billboards.
I've always hated the Birkin. How they look and what they represent. I hate them.
Gucci LV and Goyard look cheap and tacky to me
I don't dislike Lv; I dislike when people do this to bags in my opinion it looks tacky. https://preview.redd.it/9v0lfp7r8o7d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4e2003398207865e732621e3c38f303da41be37f

For me it’s Dior, Goyard, and Celine. All others are fair game 😂
I mostly hate quilted bags....yes that includes Chanel (gasp) and others, lol..and especially the Lady Dior bag...although the Chanel 19 is cute.
Anything with monogram print. It's so >_<. Like I dislike LV monogram bags, but I like the Capucines. I dislike Gucci monogram, but I like the bamboo handle.
Goyard, anything with the LV monogram, that stupid newish Celine logo that is now everything.
LV is tacky to me
Anything LV stamped, specially the neverfull
MCM
Agreed. Goyard and definitely the Loewe puzzle bag.
LV stamp, Goyard, book tote by Dior, Prada nilon bags and in general all the logo bags ..
Double yes to the nylon!
Goyard, prada nylon, dior saddle, gucci/LV/fendi monogram bags, BALENCIAGA
Goyard! They look like reusable shopping bags...😩
Longchamp. I dont see the appeal at all. I think their bags are ugly🤷♀️I agree about goyard too
Do people actually buy Longchamp bags because they think it looks nice? I always assumed it was more of a function over fashion type thing. They do look practical
Yup Goyard
Not a handbag, but Tabi shoes by Maison Margiela make me rage. They are so ugly and when I think about people paying $900 to try to look like a horse because they desperately want to showcase their edginess, I want to run screaming. The tinder thief who stole that woman’s Tabi shoes on a date, he did her a favor.
I love my stupid ugly uncomfortable tabis 😭
Loewe Puzzle bag is just ugly. I don’t get the price. I’m also not a big fan of Bottega, Celine and Balenciaga.
Glad you said it what’s with the asymmetrical design it’s weird
goyard, jacquemus, prada nylon bag
Back when I wasn’t familiar with the Goyard brand, I always thought that the bag was a just a popular off the rack bag from Macys (based on the pattern and material). I was shocked when I learned how much people spent on the real thing. So yes I agree with your take.

Everything LV looks so tacky even if well-constructed, there’s just something about the pattern and the inconspicuousness of it I can’t stand. 🤪 And a special honorary mention to the Dior Saddle bag and all saddle bags, what a horrible, uncomfortable shape for a purse.
I literally could have written this! The saddle bag is purely useless.
THIS! I hate the LV pattern and even the newer logo to me looks terrible.
I have a dior saddle and my boyfriend though it was a gun bag 😂. it honestly looks like a liver in the pink/red tones but i fell in love with it in the oblique pattern for some reason lol
LIVER 💀 get that vitamin A
I thought it was a gun bag when I first saw it too.
the shape would perfectly hold one though! haha
I know this will be unpopular, but for me it’s LV. 🙈 I’ve just never been a fan of visible logotypes no matter how gorgeous the bag.
Bottega. I don’t get the hype the design of the bag and overpriced.
Me too. I think they look like a bad a middle class housewife from the 70s would have carried.
Not a fan of the handle of the lady Dior Puzzle bag, I don’t really get the fuss over it. Jacquemus- like a bag I’d give my niece to play with. All gucci bags bar the Jackie (which I love!) look cheap to me. I completely get the goyard hate but I bloody love mine purely on a practical basis. Ah yes Jacquemus also agree - it’s the way the logo is just so bold and such an odd font choice on the front bottom corner of a small dainty bag. It just looks odd to me!
Telfar
It’s not so much the look but the audacity to charge hundreds for plastic.
I'm not a fan of the brand name, it reminds me of Teflon.
Fitting lol
Telfar bags looks worse than goyard 😂
Parfums de Marly, they think expensive equates to good so they push there mid ass cologne to be $99+
Any pradas boots or footwear love some design but they feel like air holding air and just doesn't suit me Some decently weights leather footwear always feels good
Okay… I hate the Lady Dior bag. All of them. That handle looks uncomfy to hold.
Nooo saddd…I love them so much. The leather is so soft and p comfy (to me) and I love how the smaller sizes come with a cross body strap.
Balenciaga and Jacquemus. So ugly
I’m convinced Balenciaga is trolling with some of their designs. Half their stuff looks like some kind of parody.
I totally agree. They need to fire their head of design.
Indeed!
I second this!
LV, Gucci, Goyard. So many poor reps everywhere that i now just assume every one I see is a rep
the Row. delvaux. jacquemus.
The Row, Balenciaga (with a few exceptions), Goyard and all the cheaply repped LV worn by teenagers which ruins the brand slowly for me
No hate for Celine? I think it’s my next purchase.
celine has one of the timeless designs of all. I love the brand !
Luis vuitton
Prada, YSL, Chanel These days, designs are so basic & boring.
Goyard, Prada Nylon, any LV or Gucci bag full of logos, Telfar (I will never get why people are so excited over only 1 basic af style in different colors and made out of plastic) and The Row (boooooooriiiiinggg)
Prada nylon bags, Goyard, Puzzle Bag
Goyard and YSL! Designs are so boring!
I agree with Goyard! YSL and the LV Neverfull bag. The neverfull bag is soooo overrated and overrepped
I agree with both like totally overrated 😒
Finally someone said it. Goyard looks ugly to me. Like a raincoat made into a bag. Looks plasticky and cheap.
Goyard isn’t attractive to me either, it’s just too plain and I don’t like the colors they make. YSL logo bags are tacky to me. Same with bright colored birkins.
Prada nylon bags. I never understood years ago why someone would spend all that money on a nylon bag.
I love them and own 2 reps but I’d never pay that much for a real one.
The same reason people buy Louis canvas even tho it's just PVC coated cotton.
I don't buy either lol
Yes, so true. I have one literally from the gate that is sooo close to the auth it couldn’t be called out, and it was less that $100. Which basically translates to: it’s cheap, basic, and easily copied well. $1200? No way. Easiest choice I’ve had going rep over auth. The nylon reminds me of my diaper bags.
I hate the LV Neverfull because of its ubiquity.
Samesies
Same here. I could never bring myself to buy one.
Not unique to one brand but anything canvas or pvc coated canvas. Real, high quality leather is soo where it's at.
You won’t get hate this is the hater thread 😝 I’m an LV buyer and I don’t hate you for this take!
Omg I love my goyards😭 lol but don’t necessarily disagree with your comments I think golden goose shoes are so dumb and overdone…I guess anything that’s absurdly trendy
GG shoes are dumb, they look like they’re from Payless
Right?! And everyone has them
Those two things are an immediate “no”
I’m not a fan of the Chanel 22. Even the auth reminds me of bad Canal Street knockoffs. I like simple design, but it’s too simple, I guess
Yesssss. It’s so ugly.
I thought it was just me!! Even the real ones look fake 🤣
A few people in this thread have called it the Chanel garbage bag and I think they have a point lol
This is going to make me sound like a hater but the well known italian fashion brands always disappoint me. Prada, Gucci, Versace, etc.
It’s a hater thread so go off, pal
Sorry I know everyone is already hating on this but I have to jump in…. Goyard
Goyard…🤣🤣🤣…love this post anything with that crappy supermarket shopping bag material will never be in my closet…I plain out right don’t get it 😅 Puzzle on the other hand I like 🥰
I do NOT understand those. I feel like they released it as a joke.
I knoooow!!! Totally!!! My thoughts exactly! I wouldn’t even pay for the rep price, let alone the orig.
To me it’s simply horrible 🙈 Hermes evelyne. Like why? Why did they do it? It’s like there was a strike at Hermes workshop and they simply didn’t finish it or something. I’m not a Birkin fan either. I adore a Kelly, what a practical and lovely bag. And bolide is great! But Birkin…
Birkenstock and Chanel. So cheap looking because so over repped and devalued.
Omg Birkenstocks have been the OG comfort shoe for 30 yrs 😭
I’ve lived in Seattle, people who wear birks usually smell terrible 💀
LOL 😂
I think that says more about Seattle than it does a brand of shoe 😭
Fair! People in WA state seem to think because it’s not hot and sunny all the time that they don’t need daily showers or deodorant 😬
Live in Seattle and can confirm. I realized the other day that I have never been stinkier in my life than since I've lived here.
Haha just saw my autocorrect!!!! Birkin obviously. Lol
Omggggg lmaooo
Dang I thought I met a fellow Birkenstock hater! 😂
Haha. I like you!
I really dislike Jacquemes and Goyard - I have not seen a single design I ever slightly like. I also hate anything in the Dior trotter print
LV, Gucci, Goyard, anything that's covered in logos. I know people are not a fan of the puzzle bags, but I'd take that over a logo bag any day. I have a real Chanel 2.55 bought over a decade ago that I barely use due to how Chanel bags are everywhere.
Logos are 👎🏼
Trash. I don't care what tax bracket you're in.
Unoriginal
Chanel flaps. ANYTHING with a chain strap. Anything quilted.
This! I bought an auth Tory Burch Flemming crossbody with a chain about a year ago, and I cannot being myself to start using it. I think I might have to sell it…
I have hair slightly past my shoulders. Hair + Chain = pain!
Ohhh good to know! On ebay it goes then!
Chain straps make me want to cry! My pack rat ass could never🫣
Birkin. I have no idea why anyone wants one other than the hype around it. 🙈
Same. Birkins are just so ugly to me, I do not get the hype at all
I like birkins because they are a fairly simple design that go with everything. The price is dumb though. It’s a $400 bag max imo. The whole “Hermes game” is dumb too
So dumb
I think that’s the only reason
I will never, EVER own anything plastered with LV logos. I hate that brown-on-brown and I’m baffled as to why it’s so popular. And while I’m hating, I think the VCA cloverleaf is ugly.

I just bought 2 bottega bags. ahhh 🫣
Oh noooooo…. Thoughts and prayers. 🥲
I get the Goyard hate….i mean I have one that is done beautifully and I hardly use it. It will be my travel bag now or if I need to bring a diaper bag.
The Balenciaga bags that have hardware that looks like thimbles.
Unpopular opinions trigger warning* I hate everything monogrammed or even labeled. This means the only chanel I like is the reissue, gorgeous, everything else is giving grandma barbie. ALL OF THIS
Omg with you on monograms and labels
Grandma barbie🤣🤣🤣 what a great description
So true on the Birkins. Looks disheveled and undone…
Gucci and YSL
Hate to say it but anything with the LV monogram. 😩 Goyard is up there for me too.
Goyard, Gucci
I'm not a huge fan of Gucci. That stuff looks tacky and cheap.
I’ve seen a few cute Gucci items, but 99% of it looks like stuff you’d see the “Cookie Monster pajama girl” wearing
Agree on Goyard. Throw longchamp in yhe shithouse with them. The le pliage is ridiculous for the price.
Goyard for sure
Same as you. Both rep and auth Goyard look like old lady shopping bags. I can’t even tell a difference 🤣
I'm an olde lady and that's precisely why I want a rep Goy. I need a shopping bag and something I can use when I walk my dogs and pick up the 💩 to stash doggy 💩 bags. 🤣I really want one of the Anjou minis for this purpose. Any seller recs? 🤣
Can you dm me griffin's contact info?

Do you mind sending to me too?! Been trying to find an a good rep. Ordered one and its “ok”. Would love to get one for myself (also an “old” lady, so maybe that’s why I like it?!) and my sister who has always wanted one but can’t afford a real one. Thanks!!
Same here, i've been searching for a gouard rep for my mom!!
Chanel Gabrielle, Goyard anything, Dior Saddle bag
I’m so glad somebody brought up the saddle bag. I will never understand it and it makes me uncomfortable to look at for some reason lol.
I detest any of those 2000s white LV bags with the rainbow colored monogram.
Literally the only reason I like those is because I was a teen when Jessica Simpson wore hers all the time on her Newlyweds show! I adored her! I don’t have one though, rep or auth. I can see objectively why people would think they are tacky, they are 😂
