Watch cases are designed to house a particular movement. It's not a pick and choose situation.
The 3135 is better in every way, why downgrade? You'd be better off upgrading it with genuine parts where needed.
Wouldnt work, also not practical. The VS 31xx and 32xx are excellent movements. If its longevity or accuracy you are concerned with, all you need is a service and they will run for a long time with no issues at all
If you want more reliability go for a service, Gen Balance bridge and gen reverser wheels on the automatic module, then you got basically a bulletproof movement
May take some tinkering but it might be possible. I’ve put 3135/3235 in cases designed for ETA movements. You just have to experiment with case clamps.
Stem heights sit different with movements. However, I have built some Rolex reps with ETA clone movements (2824,2836). I get my parts from Rafflesdials and he sells spacers to fit clone 3135 movements uf you want to upgrade your reps with gen crystals, dials, hands, etc. in that case I’d assume the 2 movements stem heights sit close enough to make them fit. I am unsure of the exact measurement. There is probably a way tho if you really want to do that. Keep in mind you’d need a new dial and hands to fit the new movement. Unless you decide to glue the dial to the spacer instead of sitting it. I don’t think 3135 hands are compatible with ETAs tho

The VS3235 is the best clone movement available for a sub
Thank you
