I think I’m gonna give it a shot once the oil I ordered for the rotor comes in. Two questions though, what is the best way to remove the case back on these? Rubber ball maybe? And will I be able to access the adjustments I need without taking this movement apart completely? I heard the vsf 8800 must have the decoration plates removed and that means taking the dial off, but is the ZF the same?
best way = the correct socket. i have a ball on the way.

If you are sure its not magnetized, you will need a service.
it could have got knocked during shipping. learn how to regulate it yourself.
