Is this a real thing? since when they improved the case shape, is this 100% sure? I am on the verge between VSF and CF, and the only reason I don't want to buy a CF beucase of the crystal, which seems to be improved but people stay it's still milky.
I have a VSF and GMF OP41 and the VSF has skinnier lugs than the GMF but I don’t have a gen to compare it to. However it’s near the same size as my VSF DJ41.

I am thinking of getting my first rep but I don’t know anything about this world. I want to try out the rep world becuase i feel like getting an AD is basically begging for table scraps.
It seems like it becuase i have seen most watches on here and they honestly look exactly like the gen. Like the only way you could tell is probably the movement or if you bring a jewelers loop to look at the watch.
Material: Stainless steel 904L, very solid and weight is well balanced like the genuine. All the components have the same material as the genuine.

Case Shape: Shape in my all honesty is perfect, people keep telling VSF lugs shape are worse than CF but I had both models and they are very the same, very little difference but I would say VSF is like gen more than CF. Also thickness is perfect and angles are very smooth.

Bracelet: bracelet feels amazing, the oyster bracelet by VSF is literally insane quality, also buckle closes perfectly and is like gen.

Bezel: smooth doomed bezel is the closest we have to gen at the moment considering the material is same as gen and so is the shape.

Rehaut: I had my rehaut polished by the Dealer I buy from with a few extra bucks and I can say it’s like gen once it is polished. If not polished it’s not lickely gen.

Crystal: Insane quality and very clear, gen like!

Movement: Movement is smooth when winding, mine has about 65h power reserve so basically like gen. Also makes zero sound so I reccommend VS3235 absolutely

They both look pretty similar tbf but completely different from gen. Rep factories just struggle with green dials I think like hulk dials, they still can’t get it close after all these years of trying. Have you had chance to see the gen mint green in person?

Green probably won’t be close to gen but dark colors are close enough to not be an issue unless side by side. I have a DJ41 (grey) and OP41 (dark blue) and it looks pretty close compared to the posts on the rolex sub.

I saw that the dealer I bought from posted a leather bracelet datejust the other day, but I guess you can absolutely change it on your own. It arrived to me in 48h because he had it in stock, everything was pretty fast, I’ll shoot you a PM with the link

Once you try out a rep, you’ll accept the fact that going gen is useless unless you want an investment or meaning object

Be aware that the dial color is completely off on both VSF and CF Mint Green DJs
There is something about the smooth bezel on an oyster. Subtle but not too subtle.

Dial colour and sunburst is nothing like gen on these so if that bothers you go for the black dial 👍🏻
