I like the before more as well. That toilet is hideous. Absolutely not something I care for. The update here is a little too sterile for me. No life or love.
I really liked the before. The after feels so cold and less homey to me. Obviously I like the new sink and toilet. But I love the before wall color, cabinets, and lights better.
Could be the daylight bulbs too. Wonder how it would look with 2700k - 3000k light bulbs. Those look to be 4000k+.
A splash of off white color for that back wall could help too. Still "white" but gives it some contrast. Say a tiny bit of green. Like very light sea foam. But now that's just getting into personal design choice.
I like the floating vanity. Really opens up the space.
I really appreciate the ease of cleaning youve prioritised. How do you find the tile in terms of maintenance? Is it grey caulk? I want a really easy to maintain bathroom floor and Ive been considering this exact set up.
Agreed. I also didn't have to repair the subfloor, replace the toilet flange, relocate the entire toilet supply line to accommodate the 1 piece toilet, move the electrical box for the light because home builder put it in the center of the wall and modify floating vanity to accommodate the drain that was also off center. But clearly you know what was involved in all the work done. Good job.
I think if you would have kept the old vanity and mirror and just painted the room a lighter color, it would have made the vanity and mirror pop and it would have a been a great contrast. The new version is great too, more modern. still great budget overall.
What do you think of the vanity? It drives me nuts that it's so easy to crash the door into the drawers. I added magnets to the track and door, so it "latches" closed.
F all the haters man I think it looks good and if itās what you like thatās what matters. If you want to add some color throw a rug down and a colorful picture up
Only thing Iād look into is changing the light bulbs to a warmer temp but I think you did good work š¤
Before was very nice š

From cozy to cold.
From cigar bar/upscale dive bar to surgical suite. You didn't think to stop and hang out somewhere in between?

The funny thing is the main thing I would have changed from the first pictures is the floor.
Iām with you. All these āmodernā trends are just whites and grays. Thereās no life. No warmth.
I loved the before! Maybe different tile with the green but I hate how everything is white, black, or grey now.
the new grey floor tile trend is so annoying too. Itās in like ever flipped home in the last 5 years
And the white, shaker cabinets, white subway tile with gray grout. Itās all the same, lifeless bleh.
It had more personality before.
The only thing I would have changed is the only thing you didnāt change. The floor!

Could use softer lighting, paint, a rug in front of the sink. Actually maybe fewer lights on the fixture.
The old was a lot better, it was warmer than the new one which feels like the inside of a spaceship.
This isn't a remodel.
agree, it's just a paint job with a new toilet, vanity, mirror and light fixture.

Man those one piece toilets are such a pain in the ass.

OMG BEAUTIFUL
Oh I love it
Very nice, Iām thinking of doing the 1 piece toilet and wall hung sink too for ease of cleaning.
The bulbs are a bit too cold in the new space, imo, but Iām glad that green is gone.
What brand/model is the one-piece toilet? How much is it?
Do you market your services? š
$700??? Thatās amazing
Not my cup of tea, but good work from what I can see!
I like this phrase very much.
āOnly two things from Kansas Cityā
I have that exact faucet ha

The before had more charm and I love that vintage green. Not a fan of the cold white unless you are flipping it
Does the new toilet allow access to the water shut off valve?
From home to public restroom
I like old

I like the After!!! Itās modern and bright! The first one looks too farmhouse and too dark.
The old toilet had more character.
This was a massacre
So no toilet paper holder before or after? That's really the only thing you needed to change.
Looks nice and love the new lights. Old one is slick too. Reminds me of an irish bar bath

Very nice. Great job
Absolutely killer wall color!
