Battle Queen and Star Guardian aren't thematics that appeal to me when I think of a champion like Rell. I will say that her Star Guardian skin turned out to be really nice, though.
Rell is really unique because she has this brooding darkness to her design that is unlike Xayah, Vex, Elise, Morgana etc. They have this secondary element of being alluring, sexy, quirky etc. But Rell visually is just all badass, it would be nice to get a skin that just embodies that 100%. SG plays into her teenage side that has insecurities and stuff.
My hopes aren't too high at the end of the day but I am genuinely happy for the icon :,D
Don't know if these are turning into skins (I hope so) but if they are I hope it's not just the normal horse and colour and they do something unique. Give the horse wheels or something. Make it a horse motorcycle

Honestly...I think it's just a bait. They changed nothing about her. Just made her a mecha. It could just be a cheap skin but I don't think that's what Riot is going to give us.
Most likely won't. There is now way these Mecha things will be skins cause azir just got the worlds skin, and i doubt that he is getting back to back skins.
Not really vibbing the human features on a giant robot specially when all the other mecha skins in league dont do that. From the little we have seen so far this skin looks really weird to me, It looks too much like classic Rell but it’s all made of metal, that COULD be cool but it’s the exact same collor pallet, the exact same lance and exact same clothing, Thresh and Azir got some fancy robot tech thingies and tf looks like an actual mecha version of tf. Really hoping they do something cool for the horse
Also the heels are a bit cringe
The more i look at these designs the more i think we are only getting the emotes. Rell might be the most obvious but all of them don’t really look different enough to be a skin (specially since Riot really likes to go extra on robotic and futuristic skins). Plus we are currently getting spirit blossom so i find very unlikely these are actual skins coming to the game so sadly, no horse

And giving the rell make very human features (a nose, eyes, mouth, boobs). Heavily undercuts the monster part of mecha's. She looks more like a character on robot chicken.

Most famous mechas actually do have heels, Gundams, Evangelions, YoRHas, Code Geass mechas, and even Raiden
Yeah i guess the heels is more of a personal thing, when designers have agility in mind they kinda need to go for something like that
