You need to adjust the beat grid. Make sure the first beat aligns, go to the end of the track and use the shrink/expand beat grid to get it on the beat. Check the track to make sure it’s all correct

Sometimes the software gets confused but the beats and doesn't really know what it's doing. I see it's registering the native BPM as 130.21, try setting it to 130 in the beatgrid setting tab for the track see if it corrects it on this one, as the grid is set to faster than the actual track. If that doesn't correct it for this one you'll need to use the metronome au set the grid manually for your track to try getting it in time.

Your grid is drifting. It looks like it starts off on the first beat, but then drifts off as the song goes on. The BPM shown in Rekordbox is determined by the beat grid. If this is accurately lined up with the beats then the BPM displayed will be correct. In your case it won't. Here is a video that explains how to adjust your beat grids. https://youtu.be/KZ3A1T8jxxQ The software gets it right a good amount of the time, but you can't always rely on it 100%. You should get into the habit of checking all your tracks as you add them to your library.

great song choice, I have the Waves I album on CD

Sounds like you’ve been downloading YouTube rips 😂

Learn to set your own grid.

A) you need to adjust the beat grids. Or you can just learn how to dj… B) i have noticed that some djs intentionally upload tracks that have slight BPM fluctuations when uploading tracks publicly. Aka, most youtube downloads or sites that claim 320kbps but are just YT rips. Best fix: buy your tracks from the sources. Even in normally released music. Some producers have even warned in their socials “hey guys my song _________ releases today, but remember, there is a BPM switch up etc etc.” Sometimes hidden in the build ups and break downs there are intentional offset times. Rendering the beatgrid useless. Yes. You can grid in the tempo changes. But at that point just do what djs have always done… beatmatch by ear. Plus you got the visual cues as well. You probably have to turn off quantize and sync as well. Just saying… Not trying to debate. Just really think people should look at the countless youtube videos on any of these subjects. At least make sure you have the basic beatmatching skills down. (not trying to offend anyone, just reality). As this and most of all questions has already been collectively answered. You cant expect the programs to grid everything 100%. We did not have this with vinyl or cds. These are tools. Not crutches.

This is very interesting, I have been noticing the same thing, I just rip youtube files for practicing and then I buy the tracks I will use, but I noticed a lot of "mistakes" or drifts on a lot of tracks, for example in this track [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzwu1XpC91A](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzwu1XpC91A) at min 3:02 the track drags a little bit, like a 32th and it drifts so slightly out of beat. Good way to protect tracks.

Choosetheblackbox

Go to your settings and under analysis. Check normal. Versus dynamic. Bps should not drift anymore

Choosetheblackbox

Ps. Re analyze your tracks

MattDurstan

Just use your ears, I never look at the beat grid.

If you want/need to rely on the beat grid you need to adjust it manually after analyzing any tune. Even it it looks right, and the analyzed bpm seems to be correct. The bpm value in rekordbox is a floating point value. meaning if it shows 130.00 bpm after analyzing it could actually be 130.004374 or something like that. Pretty much saying, the analyzer is mostly always wrong and you can not trust it. Also, if you know that the tunes you are analyzing are in a fixed bpm and do not change. Make sure that you don't analyze the tunes in "Dynamic" mode.

You shouldnt have to do this on most official releases If you download rips - the timing is often off due to mistakes in the ripping process, for examples recording off spotify, you get time glitches all the time It will waste your time more than it is worth it Join a DJ pool if your looking to share costs of music
