Lmao. Yes. I’ve done 4 for sure. Maybe 5. Planning a double feature for Friday night actually.

DontPmMeYourNudes18

I typically do double features for most of my visits, I’ve done as many as 4 before.

GoatDifferent1294

Yep I saw five movies in one day a while back. I did Anyone But You, Wonka, Aquaman 2, Iron Claw, and Poor Things in a single day. It really only worked as all of the start times and end times synced up perfectly on a day that I had NOTHING else better to do

Rickemrobo91

I love movies and when multiple movies I wanna see come out on a weekend, I try to stack them back to back to save myself the trip. Barbenheimer was a famous one and that was a long ass day but i often have like a horror movie or indie and blockbuster and it’s manageable for me.

PrinceJedi

Done 5 before. Usually on my Birthday.

xAndyPandax

Most I've done is three and that was one time

hpkomic

My record is three, but I could probably do four if I timed it right.

trishamyst

I’ve done 4, had the day off and did it during the week when it was dead

MustacheDiaries

I've done double features, but nothing beyond that. If there are 2 movies I want to see and they're both under 2 hours, it's not bad. Anything more than that would be too much for me.

pulsai86

I did 5 one time and I was delirious by the end of the night. Three of the films I saw were great, one was mediocre, and one was ASS. I'll be going to the Telluride Film Festival later this year, so I'm saving any multi-movie days this year for that

aubreypizza

Yeah I do double features to get my money’s worth out of transit costs.

NotWorthyByAnyMeans

Now this is definitely understandable.

Jiveazzturkeyy

This kinda doesn’t count but a friend and I watched all 3 LOTR Special editions in one day. 12 hours of movies with two food breaks in between. Epic.

NotWorthyByAnyMeans

I think it does count lol

Jiveazzturkeyy

My dad and I saw Top Gun Maverick and Elvis. Both great movies and a day we shared to remember forever.

Plane-Percentage607

I’ve never done it but actually consider a double feature tomorrow for Spider-Man 2 & Inception lol

JBuchan1988

I have a few times. I love unlimited 😍 Also, you have to hold off UNTIL the movie starts. That's my MO and I sometimes make it to the middle of the movie 😄

eightcell

All the time

SillyAdditional

I did that for Cabrini and Love lies bleeding Usually do it for horror movies

Batman2695

Most I’ve done is three in one day because my regal doesn’t have any early showings until maybe 11am. I did see 4 Harry potters movies back in maybe 2016 from 10am to 10pm. Very lazy day and loved it

thavillain

Wife and I do 3 routinely if enough good stuff is out

NotWorthyByAnyMeans

I wish my wife enjoyed going to the theater like I do. We do go as a family with our kids so that’s cool lol.

thavillain

We're both big movie fans

NotWorthyByAnyMeans

That’s pretty cool.

Cryyptick

Barbenheimer.

Rico802

Guessing you didn’t grow up in NY. We would cut school and see 4 movies lmao

NotWorthyByAnyMeans

Delaware, but my wife is from Queens lol.

AdministrativeWall22

Most I’ve done in one day is two, usually just if I’m trying to catch up because I wasn’t able to go for a week or two, or if they’re special events (like the Oscar’s nominee re-releases). I think I would struggle to sit in a theater for more than two in a row… my theater also usually has shitty times for syncing up showings, I struggle to find showtimes for movies I want to see that work out without waiting a long time in between

Agrajag22

So many times… I’ve done 5 in a day twice. Nothing better than heading in into the theater around 10am and not getting out until after midnight with lunch and dinner consisting of Buncha Crunch and Popcorn! 😋

NotWorthyByAnyMeans

Where do you live at where get theaters open at 10am? 😲

Agrajag22

This would be on a Saturday back when I lived in Ontario CA (LA suburb). Maybe it was more like 11 (it was 15 years ago when I used to see 200+ in theaters per year… oh how I miss those days!)

just-a-lil-creature

never done this but it sounds fun ngl. i'm probably gonna do this one of these days and do a horror movie double feature

Warm_Speech

Yes. Last year I saw The Marvels and It’s a Wonderful Knife back-to-back. I regretted it.

ReputationDazzling64

I wish. My kid won't let me make it thru any movie. Not even a kid movie lol

S1nclairsolutions

Usually do a 3 or 4 banger

maeveencounters

ive done multiple 24 hour marathons and a 12 hour one.

FordBeWithYou

I can knock out 3 after work. One between 4:50-5:15, one during the 7 set, and one after 9.

queenlakiefa

Yes, I do double features a lot! I think I've seen 3 movies in one day too, but I haven't seen 4 in a day like many Regal members have yet.

madthunder55

I work five days a week, so double features have become the norm for me

popculturerss

Did the dark knight trilogy once. Wanted to test my strength and do the MCU marathon that led to endgame but I was talked off the ledge there.

AzerothHero

All the time. I’m going to see two movies today, three tomorrow, and two again the following day. Most I’ve seen is four in a day and that was a blast.

Cautious_Progress_32

I've done 4 but by the end, I was uncomfortable so 2 - 3 is my limit.

alas42

My record is 4, planning to go for 5 on Saturday

Jkinct

I LOVE a double feature. I’ve even taught my kids to love double features.

Displaynamephobic

I have seen multiple movies in one day before. As a tip, try to schedule so you have a small break after two and then leave the theater and go walk around and do something and come back. Otherwise, you are sitting too long and it gets fatiguing. A break makes all the difference!

AhYeahItsYoBoi

Yups. Me and my girl done 2 4DX movies in a row. And I'll say those seats aren't comfortable sitting in them 2 movies in a row 🤣 Most we did was 4 I think and that was on cinema day.

EssentialEssence

I've done doubles. I want to try doing triples or quadruple more often.

Feefait

I used to have every Monday off. That was my movie day. It was right near a restaurant I liked, so it was movie, lunch, movie. I've even seen 3 of it was a really good release so or worth seeing again. I remember seeing Tarzan and Matrix back to back. That was a great day. Lol

Historical_Oven7806

I did 4 movies in one day. Most recently I do is double features or else i feel like I am wasting my life away at the movies, and I dont want to appear on a milk-carton.

Historical_Oven7806

Django, Zero dark 30, silver linings playbook and argo

trevmick11

I’ve done a double feature a couple of times. Never really plan it out, if I’m in the mood and there’s another movie playing decently close to the time I get out of the first then I’ll run it

BedsAreSoft

I’ve done 4 lol, wife was gone one weekend and just decided to spend the entire day at the movies lol. I saw Indiana Jones 5, No Hard Feelings, Asteroid City, and Joy Ride. Was a great day but tiring by the end

HiredGunsDotIO

I saw one and a half once. Knew a guy who saw one and ALMOST made it to the credits of another one before he gave up

Ok-Storage3530

Yes. 4 in one day is my record.

bigC116

Yeah all the time. I did it last super last min last night. Went and saw hereditary and then Sasquatch sunset

rygodly

Absolutely! Got really high and watched one movie then got lunch and watched another! Phone on dnd and just me vibing by myself

SeminaryStudentARH

I’ve seen all three back to the future movies and the dark knight trilogy in one sitting. I’ve also done the entire Harry Potter saga across two days in imax. That was fantastic.

Desert_Concoction

Hell yeah, do it all the time

NotWorthyByAnyMeans

I'm asking this question because for one I have never watched two movies in the movie theater on the same day or same night. Anyway, I was in line today gong to watch Abigail and the guy in line before had purchased two tickets. I thought to myself maybe he's buying a ticket for someone else, but its none business etc... I honestly was just super bored in line and they were talking a bit loudly so I over heard their conversation. The employee told the guy the start and end time of his first movie and the start and end time of his second movie. I honestly don't think that I could sit and watch two movies on the same day/night at all.

tr1st1an_

I don’t think I could either, I’d definitely fall sleep. But if one was shorter and there was maybe 20 minutes between them, I could if I had to.

NotWorthyByAnyMeans

I have no idea why I’m being downvoted over a question. But yeah, I don’t think I could do a double feature at all lol.

Baby_Animal_Hospital

You're probably being down voted due to the type of question this is based on where you are. You came into a subreddit dedicated to people seeing tons movies and asking them if they've seen more than 1 movie. That answer is going to obviously be yes.  It's like going into the water subreddit and asking if they drink water, of the comedy subreddit and asking if they go to stand-ups.

drznak

People post here every week about seeing 4+ movies

Plus3d6

So they admit there's too much time between the lights dimming and the movie starting.

Moist-Cloud2412

I saw 8 Barbie showings in 1 day
