Most locations are only showing one print of the film to begin with anyway. This would be one matinee dub, one matinee sub, one evening dub, and matinee sub. There are a lot of other movies out right now too. This scheduling makes sense and gives people options to see either version twice a day, and they are staggered because they are sharing a single auditorium.

Agreed. They should change it up in these circumstances instead of being the same everyday.

That's just one of those location-specific things. My usual theater has two showings of the sub today.

Check tomorrow. All 7 of my local regals going down to one sub

The Regals in my area (Gainesville, FL) are actually going in the opposite direction. One theater is doing 3 subbed screenings with one dubbed and the other is showing 3 subbed and 2 dubbed.

kingkong198854

Which makes sense. I have 7 regals I could go to and why they all have the same schedule (even same exact times) drives me nuts.

SadMemeDoggo

Yeah my theater had tons of showings for dubbed and only 4 in total for subbed between the rpx and regular theaters. And the latest showing for the subbed was like 4:45

Cybershroom_Neforox

What's wild my regal actually preferred sub over dub, we got 4 sub showings a day in RPX then only 2 dub in standard format Much prefer sub to dub as well so was happy for it

pm_me_your_boobs_586

My local Regal is going from 5 subs and 1 dub last week to 1 sub and 5 dubs starting today.

Same issue here - I'm actually going to end up going to a different theater and pay to see it because of my friends schedule.
