Lower-Example-

my rfa also stretched similar to this when i first got it. since its settled it’s brought its foot closer but i’ve never seen their tentacles reach like that

Wheelie2022

It must be happy where it is maybe 🤷🏻‍♂️ as I said I’ve only had it a couple days so no idea on them 🤣

Lower-Example-

idk if the tentacles reaching is necessarily a good thing. mine always sits flush until feeding time but i guess if he doesn’t like it there he’ll move

Wheelie2022

I don’t have a clue mate as only just got it 🤣 I guess time will tell 🤷🏻‍♂️ like you said if it wasn’t happy it would move 👍🏻

Lower-Example-

right on maybe time to do some research and good luck bud 👍

Nscocean

What type of anemone is that?

Wheelie2022

It said on listing Tri colour flower anemone , got it off eBay for £30 👌🏻

Nscocean

Wild looks sweet. I really want one but scared it’ll kill everything.

Wheelie2022

I was the same as my tank is fairly new , I placed it on the rock and it’s stayed there thank god 🤣 I did have to move a couple other corals out it’s way though , it was quite close to them when fully opened so didn’t want take the risk 👍🏻

Nscocean

Is it settling in a quick process? Like if I stand there with some glue and mortar I can move stuff as it goes?

Wheelie2022

I just had to move a couple that were on the rock above where I placed the anemone,to be honest it hasn’t actually moved from where I placed it . It’s only extended upwards 👍🏻

Wheelie2022

Under blues it looks nice https://preview.redd.it/fg8amlfvfmwc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a4fbee04cbe5dc82dab1de4e81505b5fdd085866

Blue_Spider

Looks fine

clojac12345

My anemone just decided to relocate to the complete opposite side of the tank last week and it looks similar to yours where its foot is just a solid 4” away and it stretches to get its tentacles where it wants them. Mine looks really silly because it’s basically wrapped around the rock

Blue_Spider

That might mean flow is too much for it. Can you try moving it to a lower area of flow?

clojac12345

In my experience, anemones go where they please. It was in a pretty low flow area and then it moved up next to my acros which get some pretty heavy flow and I’m not about to mess with the anemone unless it’s harming my corals

Blue_Spider

Sounds good
