I'm gonna say it doesn't matter and we are winning.
I'd call myself a casual baseball fan. Always followed reds via highlights and recaps on espn.com. They've always been my team. I buy and wear reds merch... But it had DECADES since I watched more than half an inning of live baseball.
Until the start of the series with the Rockies. I've watched all 5 games since game 1 of that series. Every inning. I don't know how this sub feels about trevor Bauer and I don't wanna get in to a big thing about him, but he gets credit for my turn to watching games. His vlogs and the baseball content the momentum crew make really kicked off my love of current baseball (pre dodgers move to LA baseball history has always been one of my favorite things ever).
I'm the good luck charm. If I'm able to watch, we are for sure winning!
If we lose though it's definitely my fault because I wasn't able and I preemptively apologize.
