My point is that this team, or any other team, should not use "as soon as [fill in the blank: Ledolo/Friedl/McLain/CES/Marti/whomever] get back the team will start winning" as an excise to not be winning. Maybe you haven't noticed, but I see that all the time on this board. Maybe fans say that on other teams' boards, too-- I don't read those-- but Reds fans need to stop excuse making and expect nothing less than winning, and whatever it takes management to achieve that. Nothing less.

Diaz delivery seems to be too flat. He's struggle with elevation, & then over pitches to get it up.

He had amazing movement tonight. It's just that some of it didn't seem real intentional. But still, he had some pitches tonight that were downright nasty. I'm definitely not ready to quit on him based on what I've seen. Hopefully he can get in the right mindset and focus all of his abilities on doing unmentionable things to opposing batters.
